Chapter 13: Our Own Wart (Part 2)

Another portal opened at the swampy place far from where Cubbonyan is and it brought other frogs attention, "What oddball are we getting this time?"

"gah! That is the last time I went to an unfamiliar portal!" a white frog exited out with decorative cat ears she wears on her head, "Tora, are you there?"

"Nia not worry, Tora is here!" An brown-orange frog with a brown mohawk entered Wartwood being carried by a large frog-like robot with a cute hat and scarf and is followed by a small white flying stripped hybrid butterfly cat.

"Look out! She has a Killerfly with her!" The frogs ran away as they saw the gang

"It is ashamed My Lady, My appearance in this world frightened the innocence" He apologized

"It would be the same if it's the other way around Dromarch!" Nia explained, "We got to find Rex, he said that it's a group effort if we have to bring Malos's arse back to Alrest!"

"Ether readings detected! Over at center of this world" A robotic voice explained to Nia

"You sounded a lot weird in this world Poppi" Nia asked

"Must be defective, work on Poppi later" Tora explained

"Did you say you're headed to the center of this world?" A blonde haired human girl came across them with a toad with a single glowing eye aside from his blind one on his right side.

"Are there any other humans here, besides you?" Dromarch asked

"It was once three... one finally went back to her home, but..." She sighed

"I get it, not every adventure is easy, but you got to toughen up in order to achieve it! I can tell cause I slugged the boy in order to continue by saving his lost friend." Nia asked her new human friend

"Ha Ha, I know what you're talking about, but what you're going is a dangerous place. Name's Sasha by the way and this is my toad uncle/father figure Grime" Sasha responded

"It's a great pleasure to meet another Fictioner from another world" Grime smiled at Nia

"Much thanks, I'm Nia, this is Dromarch, the Nop- I mean frog there is Tora and the frog bot is Poppi" Nia shared the introductions

"We're here to tell you where your friends are, Newtopia, to be honest, we weren't supposed to return until we strike back at that murderous Andrias for not only to stop him for conquering worlds, but to avenge him for murdering my friend in an attempt to evacuate my other friend and her frog family." She is enraged over grief when she thinks of her lost friend of the trio

"Calm down Sasha, we need to ease this situation with a calm mind, and they seemed to know how to fight many frobos at least" Grime calmed her down, "You can borrow Joe Sparrow since we escaped from there, you can see that he can take the weight."

They see the bird chatting with two snails, the older large snail and a baby snail on her back, "Hey Joe! We got more riders for you" the bird noticed the four and listened to the human's commands, "I must ask Marcy's friend, Paganyan, to ride you to Newtopia in a flash"

"That's cool!" Nia smiled, "Wait, where is Tora?" she turned around and noticed him came back with a large Victorian maid outfit

"What is that, Tora?" Nia noticed the dress

"Meh-meh! Tora not know what Nia mean!" Tora gasped as he hid the dress behind him

"We aren't here shopping for new clothes, we're here for Malos and go straight home!" Nia scolded him

"But Tora want to dress Poppi since this world made Poppi frog-like!" Tora explained

"She's fine the way she is, now get on the Titan bird!" They got on Joe and heard a cat coming towards the house, "Hello Sasha! Here to air travel again?"

"Not today, I wanted you to bring these four to Newtopia" Sasha explained

"Wait, by what order! Is there another one chasing after them? I told Ivy that we all miss Sprig and his family, but she insisted on going there to save him!" Paganyan argued

"It's not that this time, it's a Uber thing, I want you to drop these guys there at the gate and go back. Nothing serious" she told him

"Fine by me! As long as anyone wants to drop off at that damned place!" Paganyan smiled as he jumped onto the bird and flies away from the town

"By the way, those guys reminded me of the JRPJ that Marcy played, I swear this field our Creator has made sure makes the furball characters a bit cuter as puny frogs" Sasha smiled

"Indeed" Grime agreed, "I can't imagine how cute their original forms are" He scrunched his face with cuteness

Cubbonyan looked both ways and tried to find his friends, "where are they?"

"I'm sure Nia and Tora will be alright, they must've transported into another town" he heard a familiar voice and hid from the crowd, "for the love of frog" Cubbonyan sweared himself as he caused heroes to appear

"This is a big deal heroes! You're about to meet the king!" The guards said as they entered the throne room

"This is my chance to leave and find Malos and Jack, they need to know" Cubbonyan left the gates as they continued to speak

"It's no big deal for The Zekeinator! My old man is the king after all!" Zeke shouted with pride

"That aside, we need to act like we're professionals. The king may be friendly or villainous since we don't know much about this world" Morag explained

"She's right, we must be serious about it" Rex agreed

"Hello Heroes of Alrest! It's hug attack!" The king entered and hugged the Drivers and Blades and all landed on their backs and bottoms.

"I LOVE HIM ALREADY!!!" Zeke felt thrilled with his hug

"Works every time with heroes! So, my request I can ask for you six! There is a villain you see and I got my screens on to monitor the situation after my bad guy alert was last heard. Can you tell me if that's the guy you're after?" He looked at the display screen and a camera looked over at Malos and Jack eating beetle burgers at restaurant

"That's him, Malos, he must've entered a portal that was made by a passing Artist" Rex guessed

"Is it rare for them to occur in your world" Andrias asked

"Up until now, we got Artists everywhere, it's hard to keep up if another civilian, a monster, or a villain exited this world. They cause problems for others like Bionis and Mira, it didn't happen in my world either, but last time in Elma's world, she said when a portal was left open, two of the villainous "Prone" went out to go on a murdering "turf war" spree on first-person shooter gaming worlds such as Splatoon, now the two are confused if their world's humans are either human or squid!" He told him

"I see, you think that's what he'll do here?" He asked, "because I'm afraid to ask of him to leave, he seems to grow fond of the life outside of his world. That is why you come in, and fight him to exhaustion!" The king suggested

"It's our goal! Not only to kill them, but to stop them! If we succeed, I'll punch his dumb face, and I might ask him for a drink later" Rex agreed with the task

"Good call! Now she owes me a drink" The king smirked as he rubbed his cheek, "go forth children!"

Cubbonyan climbed into the wall and noticed the other side of the guarded city, "That was close, I hope I wasn't followed..."

"Cubbonyan!" Jack climbed to the top along with Malos with their newfound skills on their newt forms

"Guys! Let's open the gate for Glaze to leave, quickly, to the levers!" Cubbonyan and his friends went to there and opened the gates, letting a path accessible for their ride

"Is it me or I see a bird carrying a robot?" Malos asked

"It appears to be a sparrow, ridden by my step brother Paganyan, has a white frog with a yellow jumpsuit and cat ears, a killapiller with gray stripes, a brown frog with a mohawk wearing overalls with tools and the robot was wearing a maid outfit. It might be a stretch, but I guess it's Nia and Tora, Paganyan must be dropping them off in Newtopia" Cubbonyan guessed

"Nia, but that means the brat is here already!" Malos begins to panic in a frustrating way

"Wait, you're a bad guy in your world right?" Jack recalled

"Well my negative development is infused within my core crystal, so you can say I'm a son of a bad guy who is angry with the world he's living in and abused me to destroy it" Malos explained

"We're close to Rex-Rex!" Cubbonyan heard from the bird as they get closer

"Oh my frog, let's blend in this crowd" Cubbonyan gasped as they went into the newt group outside the city

"Wait, Cubbonyan? That's funny, I could've sworn I've seen him within the trio... lemme call my friends. Thank you for choosing Air Paganyan, we're looking forward for your next flight around Amphibia!" Joe landed and dropped off the four characters onto the gates

"Thanks for that, now let's go back to Rex!" Nia thanked him

"Much thanks friend!" Tora thanked him also as they left him to find their friends

"Okay... Bearin sweetie, do you notice Cubbonyan missing right? I think I found him... and I believe a certain new guardian is involved with this trip" Paganyan called with his cellphone

Several wolves arrived at the certain tower in the ruins, "you four, bring down this tower and search for Bearly's spawn"

"Question, Alpha?" A small wolf asked Alpha wolf

"Speak Kappa" Alpha asked his pack member

"Why are we searching for her human form? If we know what her frog form looks like, we can sure capture her with all the hard work!" Kappa asked

"Good suggestion, but Bearfulcute's orders, we bring down the Artist-repelling/Amphibiasona Tower and capture her human form! Easy for us!" Alpha recalled as the werewolves began to saw the tower which ruptured the sky bit by bit.

The sky shakes as certain amount of Artist/Sonas are cowering with fear as they separate themselves from the amphibious crowd

"What the hell is going on with the other sonas?" Cubbonyan mumbled as he saw a familiar face on stage, "Katie! Is that you?" He looked up to the pink frog with brown hair

"Hey Cubbonyan, what brings you here?" She asked

"I was going to ask the same thing, is he here?" Cubbonyan asked

"Yeah, but he doesn't want your apology right now, he recently obtained the fifth string, now he's eager to grab the Master Sword for a bite of it!" Katie explained

"Quite obvious, but listen, this fight we had, Bear Dad talked to me straight from beyond the grave, saying that I should stop hating on my brother and treat him as equal! For him right there, he's my second guardian nowadays. How about this, when we're at Bearly Square, Comicalla, I will hand you over the things I took from your friend, and do the Resurrection concert with Lyn, I have a feeling that Bear Witch was her other nickname" Cubbonyan mumbled

"You know? But how did you know all of this?" She asked

"Bear Dad told me! Now go on and continue forth! I will be there listening to whatever you're playing!" Cubbonyan smiled

"Alright!" She begins to play and the boys ran towards her and rushed to go to their spots

"Katie, It's a minute early!" I came back to the spot as I played the guitar

Ed came to the stage with drums and placed earbuds on the ears, and Jodan came with the shamisen

Cubbonyan noticed the heroes were close and I quickly went on stage and grabbed a guitar and blasted a guitar riff loudly to deafen the characters into finding the villain there among the crowd

Rex replied "Tora! How can music is more important right now when Malos is still out there-"

"He's cheering for Bear Kid!" Tora pointed out

"Wha???" All check out the concert and noticed him cheering for Cubbonyan

"Alright we found him!" Mythra said as they all head to the concert closer to face Malos

"Oh shoes! My sister is here trying to take me home!" Malos ran backstage as Jack followed him with Ed (as a Toad) and Jodan (as a miniature frog)

"I can't believe you want to be Sasha in that scene Huh?" I asked him

"Yeah, I figured if I should play alongside you with you guys, I mean I didn't perform very often. My new friend Malos, Jack, and I are here just to protect you, not anything else. I just want to say I'm sorry for wasting your time in slumber, sorry for calling you dog in an offensive way, and I'm sorry for putting my pain onto you... Bear Dad wouldn't forgive me if I didn't forgive you for everything that isn't harmful, you're right. Music is part of why Art is considered to be unique in creating things, not just drawing... and I was a fool to caught myself in the past..." Cubbonyan apologized

"Hmm... I sort of feel like forgiving you... but I'm not heavily convinced! It's part of your tricks isn't it?" I told him

"No! No! My head hurts after the fight, and Bear Dad did told me to take care of you when werewolves are attacking!" Cubbonyan begged as a sound of static buffers the background and Katie transformed back into a human

"Katie!" I asked her

"Why am I a human now?" She asked

"The Tower!" All replied

"Help!" ????? Yelled

"Oh no! Well excuse me my bro, but I'm rescuing my friend!" Cubbonyan left with Jack as he grabbed his and his friend's other sword, "Glaze!" Cubbonyan whistled for the snail companion and hopped on top of it, "Take us to Malos"

The snail drove fast after the scent of a blade, which got another portal opened, "alright Bear Demon, have you seen Cubbonyan anywhere?" Bearin asked

"What!? You're after him, but not me?" I asked Bearin

"Yeah, after you is not important right now, the werewolves are the issue and we need Cubbonyan back since he is the member of our squad" Bearin asked

"Who told you Killjoy was here?" I asked her

"My husband did, he knew something was wrong when he heard howls near the Artist Towers, the abundance of Xenoblade characters as frogs, and seeing a caterpillar that has the same colors as him proves that something is diffidently wrong here!" Bearin explained

"Umm if you're looking for him, he's after the guy who hired him to kill me, who became his friend recently and he looked like a purple bulky newt" I explained to her

"Gotcha! Thanks for the tip, Bear Demon!" She left with a crazy edge, "Comin after you Aniki!"

"Nice for them to thank me after a performance" I smiled, "Come on guys, our work here is done"

"But we didn't do anything!" Ed replied before they disappeared

"Oh my gosh! I love your cosplay, it looks exactly like the ones from one of my favorite video game JRPJs, Xenoblade Chronicles 2! Oh I love them so much, what is your version of story since video games don't exist here! If there is a book can you lend it to me because I love your amphibian forms! It's so accurate and sooo cute!" she explained

"Ummm" Rex tried to speak when the disruptions from the tower kept on growing, "We really love to share, but we better get him back home, we're not from here exactly"

"I get it, not everyone does live in Newtopia but just visiting for the architectures, the museums, the food, and the castle, very good city for a city connoisseur to admire" she continued

"Well it is admirable to describe, but we must leave" Brighid added as they left past her, the blast from the axing turn Zeke back into a human, "Oh yeah I'm back to my handsome self!"

"EEEEEEEE" the human noticed Zeke's human appearance

"I MEAN OH CRAP!!!" they begin to run away from her when Andrias noticed her out chasing them, "DANG IT MARCY!!!"

Alpha cheered as the transformations begin to wear off, "YES! It's working! Put your backs into it Wolves!"

"We got them where they are Glaze, show your foes your debut!" Cubbonyan smirked as he gave him berries to speed up the process, and he begins to drive on walls and chased the hopping amphibians, "The Bear Kid!"

"You guys got to bring him somewhere safe! Pyra and I will hop right into battle as he tried to get closer to Malos, he might lure him into not destroying the world!" Rex jumped higher than Pyra as she jumped normally, probably from all that salvaging he did in the past, it must've been an outstanding trait for an average frog.

"Let's show him why he can't let portals open for villains to escape their fates!" Rex unleashed his sword as he fought Cubbonyan's Dauber blades

"I have no choice!" Cubbonyan yelled as he fight against his friend's rivals

"Why did you stole him when we're out on Smash/!" Pyra yelled as she draws ether energy to her Driver

"He looked eager for some fun! With you guys gone, he is immediately bored!" Cubbonyan explained while clashing swords

"One minute before we came back, you dented Vandham's tombstone! He tole me you left with Malos and some kid to Porco rosso!" said Rex

"That's what I hit at? oh right, I forgot, and another thing, he and that boy is responsible for upgrading my new pen! And Portorosso is what you're referring to, Boy!" Cubbonyan smirked as he looked at his opponent with a glare in his eyes

The shockwave changed another set of forms and Cubbonyan came back to his normal self, feeling the beastly energy from within, the fury of one's work disrupted by the boy who want to put a stop to it.

It seemed nostalgic somehow, such as Fertilla, the goddess of Fertility in gender-neutral pregnancies, she might be a leading cause of boys being pregnant... not important! I mean Killjoy wanted Malos for some reason, he did it before leaving, maybe repayment? Nothing fine with that, bad guys are meant to lose on purpose just for heroes to triumph, I guess that's why they're here for the bad guy then... because they have scenes when he's victorious in one battle among the many he lost in.

Back to the battle in hand, "Twin Thunder" Shots of electricity shot upward and rainstorms appear to bring rainfall, but it did not weaken the fire blade not one bit...

"You must get the wrong idea kid, Pyra isn't an average fire blade!" Said Rex

"I never miss!" Cubbonyan smiled as a certain other fire blade is weakened by the rainfall

"Ughh!" Brighid grunts with pain as rain begins to make her weak and vulnerable, Malos struggled free and jumped into the river and begin swimming with his tail while all tied up

"He got away! Let's go after him!" The tower was almost at their end as more amphibiasonas went back to their human forms, got most of the team back to normal and almost to Frog Bearly, "this is it for me, time to head to the human world of this universe! Bye!" Frog Bearly waves goodbye to her friends and she left to hide away from the werewolf attack

"It appears that this tower is about to be turned off, but Glaze and I will be inevitable since I'm a Yokaisona!" Cubbonyan declared, "Malos is responsible for fixing my pen, and I'm giving him a reward into doing so! I have a mission to clear, and I will make sure I will return him home in one piece" Cubbonyan was grabbed by the mouth of his snail and was driven by Jack, "Come on! I'm human now! There's no telling when the form will wear off completely!"

"I would want to wipe the memories of everyone in your world, but Amphibia would do, most likely the king and Marcy, he is angry when he sees another Villain ruining his plans and Marcy is flipping out... well I like her for that... decline her and do on the king" Cubbonyan used his pens to make Andrias forget about his otherworldly group of heroes and bad guys, "Perfect, now he won't know about the Bad guy alert and your arrival!" He called his snail to fly up with Jack and Malos all drenched in water, "Glad watching that movie made me swim with my tail, otherwise, I would die before being rescued"

"Alright guys, let's get out of here!" said Cubbonyan

"You won't get away with-" Rex jumped and the tower finally broke which turned Rex back into a human and fell without his frog abilities

"Rex!" Pyra gasped as Rex launched his mini anchor in his arm for catching his fall

"Do you think your father would be furious if we didn't bring back his son?" Rex panted as his group regathered in his area

"Definitely, he would be mad if we didn't bring him back..." Pyra sighed

"Sir, we heard reports that the spawn of Bearlywrote is gone, we didn't see her" Delta replied

"Great! All that sawing for nothing!? Open this portal, I want to smash it to a random world!" Beta growled as he throw the tower to a larger portal

"Bearfulcute is pathetic! Why didn't we stop!?" Kappa replied

"I admire your self-awareness! If he keeps on failing, he won't succeed!" Alpha frowned, "What's your suggestion Kappa?"

"We go on strike!" Kappa smiled with a picket sign

"I love it! I like your idea!" Beta cheered as other werewolves followed Kappa to their HQ outside in the picket line, "Unfair boss has got to go! Unfair boss has got to go!"

Alpha frowned, "Boss would fire me for asking anyone for suggestions"

???: finally it's back to me! Cubbonyan finally has the development to face off heroes like Bear Paw

Bearin: so Cubbonyan is on the run, the broken and lost tower is somewhere around Dragon Maid, it turned my favorite dragons into lizards and Kobayashi into a frog! I find it creepy yet hilarious, but still I want it back!

???: well we can figure this out, my band would go to Hyrule right now and find the master sword!

Bearin: sweet! Another place with dark magic!
