Chapter 5: Forming Friends and Enemies

The clean air has been breathed through our noses, it is refreshing for us yokai and humans alike when they were traveled away from the smoggy city air the Nonfictoners have been making

Brother has started to lose his lunch because of the sutra's effects. It nullified the curse it has placed on his tongue and the bugs are now a bit flavorless and the honey he craves has now dwindled. He started to feel better after eating a cooked fish his dragon friend made for his remedy

Jinpei wipe off his kabuki makeup and washed his face with a towel

Ian was reading some other spells from the book, he learned to use the disguise spell with the hard part mastered with honesty.

Cubbonyan was sharpening his digital lightning pen scythe with a knife sharpener as he hold the reins of Cloudless

"I'm required to have an update on my system. I must shut down in order to fulfill my recommendations, do you want me to explain the details about this update, Lyn?" Cloudless asked me while I waved my fan pen to my face as we endure the summer's heat

"No thanks Cloudless, I am like any other member who is careless about reading any info about the updates. You can go ahead and update now, if you want?" I asked her

"I understand. Begin updating!" She fell asleep with eyes going all dark. She immediately became immobilized as my brother tried to pull her into the village

"Well, I guess we can let her sleep..." Brother suggested as we continued. To everyone's surprise, they not only ran from the group, but some of them are kneeling and bowing their heads towards us.

A bunch of teens that are around fourteen years old are settled in a small hut noticed the magical group outside while a gentle woman has greeted them with no fear in her heart, "over the last 18 years, I was wondering when you two are going to visit us again"

"I haven't recognized you for a while, you seem to handle this Unbearable and your comfort from this village when we were gone." Brother and Fuu2 kneeled down (which is strange since the blue yokai doesn't have legs) to the mature adult version of their damsel in distress

"It's been a while Rin, you look beautiful" Fuu2 complimented her colorful patterned kimono that matches the green summer theme

"Thank you Keita, it's been a while" Rin laughed "You still have to see me with your damaged yukata?"

"I was born naked, it's strange since the missing part has reminded me of how I-" the blue apparition was halted by a strange sound, a sound of slashing blades by the sound of water.

"What is going on!?" A group of teen girls have shouted to Rin's ears and other members of the old-school anime have gathered to the unfamiliar yokai

"It's a yokai's doing!" A woman with pink and green robes on leaves her children in her large hut

"This water cutter technique is brand new to us, it must've been something other than a yokai" a wise monk in heavy layered purple clothing has told them about the move the unknown opponent used

"You're right, it isn't a yokai's doing. My senses doesn't read the enemy" a girl in white and red clothes

"That smelled like a crystal..." a white long-haired boy with puppy ears has tried to sniff the air for proof

Our eyes wide to see what the opponent is, more rebellious Era 3 gems.

The white head glared at the bear-clad human boy, "you have a good plan on visiting here?" The dog snarled

"Uhh... we are just-" The Bear shooked at the rage coming from a hybrid canine

"You probably are responsible for the attack that took place in our homes 18 years ago!" He barked back

"Inuyasha!" A young priestess called out

"That old thing from the Pre-Bearly Impact? An enemy though it would be a great idea to set your home on fire to challenge us to a battle! We didn't harm any other humans other than those fictioners who turned their backs on us!" Bearly Lord explained

"Why is your minions doing that crap!?" The dog growled

"They're all right here doing nothing! We're here to stop the ones who caused it!" I cried out to stop the fighting

"It must've been water-manipulating gems! Like Lapises!" said Cubbonyan

"You mean Lapis Lazuli gems?" The miko added

"Kagome, you know these guys?" Inuyasha asked his wife

"Well not exactly, they're the blue crystals that have those small yellow spots on them." She corrected him

"Well, you guys didn't know because you're drawn by the order of Takahashi back then, these guys are from another branch that was claimed by the artist known as Sugar. They were tasked to terraforming the land by the former authority and now I think one of them is here to cut the village off since I believe they didn't locate the dirt of my former body's vengeful charge's small birthplace" Brother predicted

"What! That means my daughter Moroha is in danger! I might as well be part of the fight you're in! But know this, I still don't trust you as much as I don't trust my brother and that smelly wolf!" The white-haired hero unsheathed his rusty sword as it transformed into a large fang-like blade

"Thank you! Soon after we take them down, my ghostly bud will tell me where the birthplace is!" Brother smirked as Fuu2 looked unsettled when the battle was just about to begun.

"Ummm about that Dan... you must've forgotten... I passed out while you're transformed into Raging Baiporagon... I wanted to ask Rin because she is the living witness to see where you are "awake"." The ghost sighed

"What!? I thought she passed out while you're there awake! Man... I should've asked Bearlywrote for help... she also knows where it is..." Brother sighed as he placed both paws on his face

"I'll call her with Cloudless. Cloudless, call Bearlywrote!" Cubbonyan asked the metal friend

"Updating at 12%. please call again later" Cloudless softly spoke in a sassy tone

"Oh my gosh..." Jinpei moaned

"What shall we do with the gems?" said Ian

"I have an idea, but we must go in different directions to find the culprit. Jinpei, go to the north, Ian, the west, Cubbonyan, the east, and Baro, the south. Lyn and I can't handle it right now." Brother explained his plan as I swallowed

"You can count on us!" Jinpei dashes to the direction he took to find the villain

Ian ran too along with my brother and my supposed uncle

My uncle Bearly Lord has resided with me in the similar hut where the woman came from, offering us some stew.

"Don't worry about them Lyn, I know that your daddy told me that you mastered Nature Magic, but this is mainly the job for Artists. I want you to settle down as we continue learning the elements of art, then the principles of art..." He sipped on the bowl, admiring the taste that was missing in less than 16 years

"How many steps are in the elements of art?" I asked him

"There are 7 steps that are most common, but 9 if you count Mark Making and Materiality. The other steps that are left are Form, Space, Color, and Value." He answered

"Is any of them difficult?" I said to him

"Form and Value are difficult. Form is like Texture, but it was strengthen by the heart of an artist to animate the fictional nature as you pull out an arm from any part of the wild. On days of grief and pain, you feel as if anyone is attacking you with your own faults on why they doubt you as one of their own. We never did Form because it is rare to perform and in actuality, Form is called three-dimensional Artist Magic for a reason. Bearlywrote and others are most likely suited for Shape, because they are two dimensional cartoonists." He looked down and grabbed seconds as he drank another bowl of stew

"I wonder to myself why..." I frowned at my thoughts

"Is it that you're left out?" A girl spoke out from the room after an uncomfortable conversation

"How did you know?" I asked the girl with short white hair and the male school uniform on

"I seen it on TV once, there was this kid who was eager to join his adventurous friends, but of how powerless he was back in episode 1, he was left out because of the risk of danger. I haven't seen the rest because the show is not interesting to me" She said

Back in the hut we're in are two other girls with different hair colors, one of them is brunette but bit lighter than the other's. The light brown haired one wears a white ribbon in her hair, might've resembled the puppy ears of the similar boy we've encountered earlier. The other girl was something else, she wears a black and purple tight slayer outfit with a scarf of a fluffy white pelt. She holds a staff-sword thingy and she seemed cold and patient than the other girls here

"Excuse me, I didn't get your names" I asked them

"I'm Moroha!" Moroha addressed herself

"Setsuna" Setsuna replied

"And I'm Towa Higurashi" Towa informed us, "we're children of the two male dog yokai from the first generation, my uncle's sister is the mother of Moroha, and we're hanyou twins from the full-blooded dog yokai"

"That's interesting!" I smiled

"No it's not, she's not my sister" Setsuna added

"Ignore her, she got her memories taken by the Artist to add plot that involves a giant, scary butterfly" Towa explained

"That's mean..." I shook my head, "Anyways, my name is Bearly Izanami Bearlynda, I am a daughter of my Chichi-ue Bearly Cuddly and my Haha-ue Jorogumo"

"Your mom is the bad, seducing spider!? Have you devoured a man while you're in an egg?" Towa smirked with glee

"That's rude! You must've offended her and her mom!" Moroha smacked her friend with the scarab of her signature sword

"It's fine, but my mom says it's an awful rumor about her when she was shunned away from humans in her own time. I was born in a yokai hospital" I explained to them

"I see... but do you know anything about your parents?" Setsuna asked me this important question

"They only told me fun and joyful stories about them..." I admitted

"It's better if you let that question go to the trash bin" said Brother

"I've found the spot kids, I did retrace my steps and finally found the spot, the prints are so impactful for the wind and rain to go away permanently" Rin told me and my uncle to come outside with the three teens as we saw burnt marks of footprints down to earth by the flames of a dark hearted dragon

I begin to feel the negative energy of the soil, is this what Impyur wanted?

The slashing from the outside grew louder and it began to tremble as a high category earthquake

Jinpei was on the starting edge of the north side of the village, staring of what it could lead to bloodshed

"What percentage is Cloudless now?" Brother asked the robot

"Updating at 82%, please wait a little longer" Cloudless explained

"Guys! You cannot believe what I saw!" Jinpei ran to the bear leader in a state of panic

"What is it boy" he told him

"I saw two gems, two of which are blue, but one of them is a Lapis Lazuli like you said! Other I believe in my Keep Little Homeworld Weird book, was named "Holly Blue Agate"" Jinpei explained

"Wow, which Lapis are you talking about?" He told Jinpei

"Uhh... it has curls on the sides of her head..." he told the bear man

"How sad, I thought about the cute freckled one... but the one you're talking about is on the side of bad! I wonder where she go after Freckles left her for Little Homeschool" he blushed softly as he was thinking about the gem

"Are you fallen for her?" said Jinpei

"No! I don't want the relationship to fall like how Rose disappeared after giving birth to Steven" he denied, "I am allowed to have harems according to Bearly Lord... but I prefer to make everyone happy"

The screech came by when the group returned and they're heading where Jinpei goes

"Good! I was wondering when you show up Bearly Lord!" Bad Lapis laughed as she saw him in his weak state, "thanks to a certain someone in this world, I will attack everyone who has their NAM (Nonfictional Artist Magic) sealed"

"You there, Lapis Lazuli Facet 6WX Cut 5VF! You are under arrest for endangering the villagers, attempt kidnapping, and following charges that involved with Soar N Impyur!" A elder voice brought out of brother as his limbs began to glow. Causing them to lose control of their recent master and followed Bearly Lord's commands as me started posing in a fighting position

"Huh... I've must've forgotten about the Bearly Lord's curse. They sealed that other than the NAM" Holly was shook by the event going on with my uncle

"You think this world will resist artist like us!?" Bearly Lord growled as his claws began to grow and glow in a neon purple

Cubbo followed suit as he unleashed his digital pen weapon, "you think he's safe from the sealing? Hah!"

"Unique, but not good enough! Since we don't know where the spot is, we will likely get the whole village and feed these humans to him as a smorgasbord" BL snarled as she slashed the ground below them

"These humans hold importance! Cubbonyan, show them how we deal with dangerous trespassers!" He said to my brother, "let's see how Blue responded when they harm the humans here, will she be upset?"

"I guess it works on them!" Cubbonyan answered

"Very well" Holly unleashed her electric whip

I stood there with Rin and Fuu2 as Towa, her twin sister, and her cousin tried to cover the exposed spot where the dragon once stood, "that's good! If the battle finishes sooner, the sooner we can retrieve it!"

"I'm glad you got to befriend these children, you know my lord will be pleased with the battle in hand taking care of and the bond you have with them" She smiled

"What are you talking about?" I asked her

"My lord, he is so kind and fearless!" She was blushing, "I would've been dead if it weren't for him..."

"Did your lord save your life from a yokai attack?" I asked for an answer

"No, he resurrected me from the dead. I love him because of how he cares for me other than my lost trust in humanity"

"I don't know what to say about that... but my older brother needs some help..." I said

"Forget that! Let's evacuate the village, starting with you" Fuu2 lifted Rin up with his arms, but his strength to carry full grown women is weak

"What's wrong?" I asked him

"She's... too... heavy...." Fuu2 panted as he gives up lifting Rin

"Don't say that to her! It is a sensitive issue to us females!" I got angry at the ghost boy

"Don't blame me, all men have this thought-! Oof!" Fuu2 got slammed by a small rock

"You lowlife of that human visitor... this one thinks that his mate is just as gentle as his own pelt" the mysterious character that has been seen in the first story came back with a roll of colored yet patterned silk.

"Sesshomaru-sama! You're back!" Rin bowed

"Dad!" Towa did the same as the human

"Rin, Towa, Setsuna, what is happening in this village?" The dog daiyoukai asked the three characters

"There are some strange youkai taking this village off our world and I think it has something to do with the darkened footprints that was here" Setsuna explained

"I sensed the Artist or the human from 18 years ago, but now this one see that Danma is possessing Bearly Lord's remains... that seal... should not be placed on him, even though he was an artist now, but he is still a fictioner, none the less" Sesshomaru placed his silk on his mate's arms as he came to the battle in a slow, walking pace

In the woods, Jijo looked at the background with his aid of Virus 24, "You ready to show off your new form 24!" Jijo said to a virus taking the form of a yokai in the area that used to live in Japan hundreds of years ago

"I'm really for Bearowulf!" The named 24 smiled with pride

"Now go free my clone!" Jijo felt excited for his brother to play with his exposed green fur to join the fight

"Oh great... those pesky insects came back and they took over that fleabag!" Inuyasha moaned

"I think they're going to the battle for good this time. Let them do their battles while prancing around here naked" said Kagome while covering her eyes as she was blushing

"Did somebody ordered a defender!?" Jijo asked proudly

"What we asked for is a "Clothed" defender" Akunogan frowned at the grotesque appeal

"Not a nude one!" Ian shivered as he tend to concentrate on his western magic, "Gotta find a special that fits here!" He pulled out his brother's Quests of Yore book and reads through some spells

I glanced over to the fight with worrisome eyes, but I kept calm about how it will turn out well

"Gasp! This silk fabric is too big, it could fit two women in these, and I can't just give them away because it is sentimental" shouted Rin as she holds on a 5 yard sheet of silk of cute bear-faced patterns, "Bearlynda, are you okay?"

I somehow lost consciousness as I was pulled into a state similar to REM sleep, I woke up in what could be a cloudy heaven

"Hello?" I asked, "is anyone there?"

A chuckle echoed through the bright void, "you are asking for me?"

"Yes, can you tell me who you are?" I said to the formless stranger

"I have no name, but I was born nameless since I can remember" he said

"Where am I?" I asked him

"You are in your subconscious, a place where all the negativity and astray-filled questions gets filtered out from your brain. Some reason this recent stuffy question is way too big to be filtered out... must be because of your origins" he said

"What origins?" I asked him

"Lyn, these questions reflect on what you've become if you take them. Artists like to redefine or form their lives through art by answering their own questions about their personal experience with their own life. Luckily for Nonfictioners, they surprisingly found out that they're good at performing arts. They sing along and act like they're us fictioners, but they cannot impersonate them entirely unless they used Form to bring out Detective Pikachu and other Pokémon out into their recreation of Rhime City" he explained

"But my uncle said that Form isn't what Bearly's are know for..." I answered

"All descendants can impress their guardians with their interesting new tactics of art. You can change that Lyn! Unleash your own feelings to the max! Line down your question, Shape of what you think, Texture your anticipation of what your question will turn out, Form your guess of what you are thinking about how are you doing with the question as you're looking for an answer, Space out your guesses, they may be more than one answer, find the colors that are compatible with the guesses to find the right answer, and if the answer was either right or wrong, Value the guesses to connect the right answer together." He explained

"Are these the lessons to draw my answer through this large gaping question? Then what is the question I'm finding out about my Artistic life?" I asked

"Do you know anything about your parents?" He whispered to my ear as he disappeared from thin air, falling into a dark space that was beneath the clouds

My eyes begin to glow neon blue as I begin to tear through my kimono with my extra arms, "GRRRRR!!!!" I growled

"AHHHHHH!!!!!" Rin shouted as she noticed her friend going on a savage rampage with me wearing a bra on

"MUST FORM!!!" I dashed outside wearing nothing to cover myself, I smacked down both Jijo and Bearowulf to claim my victory

"What the?" Bearly Lord gagged

"I thought she couldn't..." Cubbonyan stuttered as he hold onto the whip tight, "Bearlygod, I wish I had gauntlets like Garnet!"

I lashed my pen into the ground and came out two earth arms to smack the flying gems off like insects

"Now it is the time to end it!" BL lifted her arms up to finish them off

"Hydro Pura!" Ian chanted as he unleashed the water from the liquids his opponent carried and aimed directly at the two gems

"Aww come on! I would've transformed into Kengo Benimaru for this one!" Jinpei cried

"Yeah, but he's fire. Lapis is a water gem. You see the Pokémon reference, it's super effective!" Ian informed the boy

The water slashed both gems out of the sky and landed butt first to the dirty ground

"You think this is over!? Come on Holly, let's finish this!" BL turned her head and noticed that she's gone, but faced by a very overprotective yokai

"I am amazed that you managed to not only tried to kidnap the village but feed them to your demon, since you all repaid them so much, I will finish off this foreign invader, I'll calm the female hybrid, and I will answer one question that you men have been asking about from me" Sesshomaru chocked on Bad Lapis as he begins to faint before losing her physical form, the gem fell to the ground and Bearly Lord picked it up with his hand as he drenched it in his own saliva, bathed in soapy water and blew a blue bubble similar to the bubbles gems normally used to seal the unformed selves

"Grrr!!!" I yelled

"It is understandable that you're out of your control, the mixed blood from both parents is a tough thing to bare. You need to keep away from your buried thoughts" the dog daiyoukai licked her head to heal her mental thoughts as she fell into her awaiting slumber.

I woke up in a different kimono on, but something is different, Cloudless woke me up from it all, "Cloudless! You're awake!"

"I arrived on the time you defeated the Bad Lapis from the battle, you seemed to master Form, even if it's just a recommendation" she explained

"Wow...how is everyone?" I asked Cloudless

"Doing fine. Showed them my cool features of my newest update, flight, armor defense, and attack weaponry. With hundreds of cool hits from the 80's of Nonfictoners!" She said

"Unbelievable! And what is with this kimono!?" I lifted my four arms and noticed the extra pair of long sleeves on the bear-faced pattered Japanese clothing

"Oh, as a thanks for not killing Rin, she made you an extra kimono with four arm sleeves that heavily relies on comfort" Cloudless added

"I don't want it like that... it is horrifying for me to wear it... but I did have extra clothes in you, can I change?" I asked her

"Of course. Select style of clothing you prefer." She said as I picked out a violet kimono with two sleeves on along with spiderwebbed patterns.

"Oh hi Lyn, I didn't realize that you're about to change" Ian barged in with some new items

"Ian, I was changing... you didn't catch me looking topless..." I felt bad about the whole situation

"Oh that, I wasn't going to ask you that! I was wondering if you're okay with the new dress on, that human does have extra fabric to craft." He said

"I love it for my parents eyes, but I deny wearing it because of my insecurities of being my parents's child... you understand right?" I asked him

"I understand Lyn, but look what that white haired guy gave me, some elvish emeralds, a unicorn horn, and some dragon teeth and claws, he explained that he traded with yokai from the further west and learned about the staff I carried. He thought it was a worthless thing because he doesn't have the magic gift like I have." he said that just to try to cheer me up

"That's so cool! I didn't realize that these beasts went out to other countries... but don't you agree on something? Did you know anything about your parents?" I asked him while I was putting on my clothes

"I have, my mom is like Izuku's mom, but she can fight hard" he laughed, "I now know that my dad is like me, but he can be a bit quirky like Barley"

"Hey Lyn!" Jinpei called as I quickly tied up my obi

"What are you doing here!?" I asked him

"I was wondering if you could help your uncle bring the dirt of Baiporagon to Cloudless as we bring back to Comicalla for safekeeping" he explained

"you care about the mission..." I said to him

"I care about you too, I don't want to see you change, it is upsetting, but I did tell the girl that your kimono should be like that one you're wearing, but she said the way you hide your arms is bad to get around" he informed

"I can tell, it is uncomfortable with two arms inside of me, replacing my melons with these limbs" I shook my head as I returned outside with the boys and Cloudless all upgraded as we see Akunogan, Bearowulf, Jijo, and Fuu2 pushing the heap of haunted rock to the back of Cloudless. Now I see the uncursed Bearly Lord talking to another yokai lord explaining their conversation

"Okay, I can see how you're doing with the kids and the village, but I have one question, What's the deal with the security situation outside your world?" Brother said to Sesshomaru

"Danma, I placed them there because of what happened 15 summers ago, Takahashi spotted this one and his mate while performing our complete mating ritual. It is shameful enough, but then when she announced our hanyou twins this year, every Fanatic Nonfictional Artists came by and bother me with this inappropriate question, "Who did you do the do with?" Or "What kind of human in the world of Inuyasha that the great dog daiyoukai of the western lands banged with?" Now you understand how Rin and I cannot bare with the Artists now, and now that you came here to claim something that you want to protect, save this village, children and my mate. You are the Bearly Lord that my father recognized years ago, as a fictioner, you may know that answer from me because you're a friend to my mate." He admitted

"I already know that answer, what kind of human would love you more than that girl you saved her life twice. I did watch the show but I pretty much skip the love triangle, square, or polygon episode scenes..." Brother laughed

"What!" Both Inuyasha and Kagome yelled at him

"I think of you as one of Bearly's favorite characters and I bow down to you" he kneeled to him

"No, I shall kneel to this Bearly Lord" Sesshomaru removed the seal from Brother's chest, "Yowww!!!" Said Brother

The Bearly Lord's curse grew back his fur and the taste buds changed as his leftover taste of the delicious stew dwindled the flavor and was craving for his favorites again, "I do miss my old body..."

I laughed as I get up on the reins of Cloudless, "are you ready Uncle Brother Bearly Lord?"

"I'm coming Lyn!" He said to her

"I wish you good luck and be careful... you do know that she's a cub from two worlds, you might know the risks." The lord asked Brother, "Don't worry my lord friend, Lyn will be under control of her father back home, and she will probably defeat an enemy that relates to the intruders here"

He get back to the dragon as Cloudless transforms back into a van which surprised Towa and Kagome, who have been in the modern world, "Lyn! You rule! Come visit us again soon! We will probably have you find those memories of my sister!"

"See you guys, Let's hang out soon!" I waved them goodbye as Cloudless drove off to the portal with Fuu2 clinging on the wheel part since there was no room inside.

I will conquer this and find my answer to my biggest question...
