Chapter 22: Fatal Finals Part 3

The car shifted to the new background as I drove past my house. My birthplace to see any other friends I can take to the battle, I saw the middle schooler I know that can get to Jinpei's heart... "Emma! There you are!" I asked her

"Oh Lyn!" Said FC Emma, "I haven't seen you since the... fight we have. Umm is this about Jinpei being weird to you again?"

"No, not this time. It's that... he's in trouble and I want you to help me to save him" I lied to her

"Oh no! Well I only wanted to see him, he's been gone for almost a month here and I was wondering if you got back with him" she said

"It is not a joke, Jinpei and her best friend were kidnapped by her father's former enemy. We have to save them if it's the last thing we do!" Cloudless spoke to her

"Wow! I didn't know you own a talking car! I might not do much, but I'll help you" said Emma

"Good. I do want all the strength" I went back to the car with Emma and they both buckled up to leave the FC multiverse

In a quiet kitchen, Cubbonyan was making a large bowl of honey and chocolate ice cream for his sister, "I hope this will make her chill"

"You're terrible as the skeleton bear freak"
The wisp laughed

"Would you be quiet for another minute!" My brother shouted

"Sorry, it's just that you guys came in silently and I almost had it! Will you at least let me put sprinkles on the sundae?" He begged

"No thanks, it is a recipe for the trustworthy. I cannot allow you to tamper my special sundae for Lyn, she's already been misguided by the wrong teacher" Cubbonyan explained

"Blah, blah, blah... not all demon wisps are bad to the bone" he groaned

"Not listening" Cubbonyan carried the sundae to Lyn's temporary room as he walked in front of the locked door, "Lyn... I know you're still upset, but I have ice cream for you, and I made your favorite. I understand Bear Dad is a bit strict when we didn't listen to his orders, but I think he knows what's best for us. Lyn? Are you asleep?" He unlocked the door and noticed the fake me asleep

"Lyn... wake up. Your ice cream is going to melt soon if you don't" he continued to shake her

The body got up and gave him a glaring look from her eyes, "Cubbonyan... what... are you doing here" she yawned

"Oh uh I got ice cream! Do you want some?" He asked her

"Yes... this is my favorite dessert" She grabbed a spoonful of it and shoved it right in her mouth, but she froze as something jolted her mouth in pain, "OWOWOWOWOWOWOWO" she shouted and her body disappeared

"Oh no!" Cubbonyan gasped, "Lyn is gone! She took Cloudless in her all-of-the-sudden rebellious phase!"

"I knew she have the guts to do so!" The wisp chanted

"You! You're coming with me! I am the Bear of the house and I won't let you and Lyn get away with any of it!" Cubbonyan took off his white wig and jumped on top of it, "Let's goooo!"

Cloudless dashed back to the original world she was from, headed to the police station to pick up a friend, "Hey Barley! Thou shall not let a brother be fallen by the hands of Impyur!" I cried as I am a princess, "will the brave older brother win this fight for the honor of this branch?"

"Yes my princess, I shall guide to you the wizard of this world!" Barley smiled as he entered his old ride and the centaur tried to chase him down in the natural way instead of his car, "wait! He's still... (pants) oh my... I'm not getting used to this... I might get him later" as he gives up, he went back to the building

"Now that season 1 is over we must cancel our contract with Lyn" Towa asked

"What? She's cool!" Moroha denied, "she took out the enemies with her earth hands!"

"Don't you remember that Papa assigned her to assist me in the first place? She was never there in the show, I have a rough time with finding out our backstories, the memories, the butterfly, the enemies, the pearls, our parents and the Nonfictioners spouting hate towards us for not satisfying their needs over their OTPs!" Towa shouted

"You mean people who are perfect to be paired up with for romantic moments?" Moroha answered

"How do you know that? Is it a Nonfictioner?" She asked her cousin

"My mom told me" the black haired quarter yokai explained

"Well I might send her-" Cloudless came by as she drove past the white haired hanyou girl with a red streak on her bangs, "or I might ask her myself"

"Oh hi girls, how's the hunting? And where's your sister?" I asked the two

"Umm... we don't say spoilers in front of passing Nonfictioners! But we don't want to talk about it" Moroha answered

"Oh okay, so I am rebelling against my dad! And we're fighting a monster that is more likely to make us kill your creators. So... are you into it?" I asked them

"I'm down for it! Besides my real mom is unconscious and she's probably in the You Seminar I guess" Towa agreed to it, "but I am terminating the contract, sorry, but can we still be friends?"

"Sure, I'm friends with you anytime! What about you eh?" I asked the girl in red

"Nah, I just want to get lunch" and she turned to see a shouting tanuki, "never mind, I hope this monster has a bounty! I might get a bag of gold!"

"Alright get inside! Sour Smokescreen!" She blow the outside with her fan emitting a cloud of tarty acidic gas, evading the intruders from following them

"Nice carriage here!" Moroha smiled

"Thanks, Guinevere was a beauty" Barley blushed with the compliment

"I'm not talking to you man, I'm talking to Lyn about her horse-less carriage! I was thinking about buying this too in the modern world, but I don't think it would benefit from the battles, so I chose a bike!"

"Well my gut felt like my brother is really in trouble! We must go there and do something"

"Not yet, I must grab a few more people who can help us!" I went to the familiar town and stopped at the same location

The dark ground is starting to shake as the rival would break out of his cage soon in about 5 hours, "here's the plan, you Jinpei can cause multiple distractions to the three enemies there. Ian, you can use your invisible bridge magic to go over them to unleash the lightning attack from above. You guys are Fictioners, it would take a while for the entire battle to be defeated, so I suggest we go with Bearin to charge head on while Beargamot, Vilgox, Heathenyan, and Paganyan to surround the enemies to make a inner kill circle. Any questions?"

"Mr. Cuddle Bear, why would you pick Bearin as the one who charges against him on front?"Beargamot frowned

"She's strong on par with Paganyan's powers. The dark energy that is building within her can damage the person that has the same exact power" Cuddly explained

"It is agreeable, but I get worried sometimes, I mean, what if she's hurt." He pouted

"I don't know how we should start with..." Cuddly grabbed the phone to call his son, "Cubbonyan, you there?"

"Yeah Bear Dad, it's me, I'm not in a mood to talk right now"

"Why not?"

"Lyn ran away from me and I am tracking her down. It is longer than I thought, but I managed to see the clues about wherever she is going... but I can't understand why Cloudless can make chalk lines around the multiverse..."

"I know what!" The wisp shouted within Cubbonyan's side

"Shut up in there!"

"You brought the thing with you?"

"Yeah, I can't leave him alone in the house"

"Good. But are you sure she's gone, I reprogrammed Cloudless"

"Sorry Bear Dad, she rebelled her master's father by siding with her master. This is bad for us, but we do need Lyn and Cloudless"

"Stop whatever she's doing and drive her to me! Order from your Bear Dad"

"Okay... Painless!" Cubbonyan called as he transformed into his human form. The wig and white arms and legs have responded to his master's words. The flying cloud-soft pelt gruntled and lifted Cubbonyan up to give him a ride, "Painless, follow the chalk line!"

The bear pelt followed the path to the unknown as they both searched for their half-sister

"Now I was wondering, does your world have wizards?" Barley asked

"We do, but it's best not to talk about it" Dipper explained

"I understand, but my brother was popular cause everyone else was talking about it" Barley smiled

"Can we explain the plan one more time, cause I normally forget about plans sometimes?" Mabel asked me again

"Okay, as you see from the stops, I am making a large bearing circle with the smallest one pointing at the target. The friends I've gotten from would sacrifice a ton of condensing Development for us to summon a god. A god that'll grant a Nonfictioner 2 wishes" I explained

"Can't we wish for Impyur to be dead?" Said Emma

"No, cause it would be more hard if he decides to get revenge on us again. I have a wish ready for it to work. I need to do something about the curse" I growled as I heard a siren noise

"Attention all Fictioners! Stop this vehicle this instant!" A boy with a gray sweater holding a megaphone shouted as he gets closer to Towa, who is sticking her head out of the window like a regular dog

"I can't go back to jail!" She hides back inside

"I'm talking to you Lyn! It's Jack Cobbler! You probably know me as Shin but don't laugh, Cubbonyan found out my localized name at the recent manga!" Shin explained

"I'm still gonna call you Shin, but what do you want with me, "Jack"?" I air-quoted

"Your brother sent me with Nekomata, or Gusto if that's your preference. To take you to your daddy, I know you and him are fighting right now but he's willing to give you a second chance!"

"You think he and you can stop me? Well think again kid!" I floored the gas pedal and blast myself off

"Umm... Cubbonyan..." he called his yokaisona with a pay phone.

"Come on Lyn..." Cubbonyan explained to himself as he followed the path after Shin called him in the last hour

The chalk paths are somewhat permanent to remove, why?

"The circle is huge compared to the last one we did... how can she learn Bearly Impact at this point?" He said

"The markings don't lie, she is doing it, but only the elders and I already used the power once to summon Bearlygod... why?" He was thinking

"If for some reason, wait a minute! Bearin, Beargamot, Vilgox, Paganyan, and Heathenyan! They have not summoned the cloud bear god yet! She's going to power up the whole thing!" Cubbonyan gasped, "Painless! Full speed ahead!"

"Yeah, and give me a good rub on my nonexistent neck!" The wisp commanded

"Ignore him, bud. Find Lyn and Cloudless"

"SQUACK!!!" A loud cry shouted from above

Talons grabbed the jar holding the wisp, "I cannot allow you to let our friend die!"

"You fiend! You just messed with the oldest bear kid!" He unleashed his scythe with a bright blue light while revealing the face of the enemy, a pterosaur with many eyes around the body, "a complete demon"

"You're the real fiend here, bub!" Another voice was heard but it was feminine this time

"Another complete demon?" Cubbonyan gasped as he pointed his weapon to her

"You really think you have the power to change fate?" She said

"Yes I am! You cannot change your defeat!" Cubbonyan declared

"Maybe we won't... or maybe we will!" He said

"My name that is publicly given by the people is Ursula o'war!" Ursula explained, "and he is named Beholder"

"Nice to meet you" Cubbonyan addressed, "I'm-"

"Say no more Cubbo-breath! Our pal is due for his transformation when he texted us that his destined one has arrived in this multiverse! You see... the new demon soul are the transformed half of the normal soul, we exist to seek the bodies we've found in our hearts. Finding none is impossible to us, but we've achieved it! Now that you and your father disrupted our nameless friend's ritual, we're taking him back and have you tied up with your pelt here, not interfering with his plans for his new body!" Beholder tied him up by using Painless as a rope

"You cannot do this to me! I'll get out of here because I'm a Nonfictioner!" Cubbonyan explained while struggling the pelt rope

"You cannot get free without your pen!" Ursula laughed wickedly as her jellyfish like arms hold his pen in front of him

"Damn! The wisp got away... they're headed to Lyn, I hope..." he sighed

"Cubbonyan!" Shin called to him as he was still tied up and alive

"Jack! I mean Shin! I was wondering where you were!" He said

"I was looking for you, and now you're tied up with your pet pelt." Shin untied him free, "where's your pen?"

"The demons who stole the demon wisp stole the pen. I cannot find Bear Dad and Lyn without it!" Cubbonyan explained

"Well I have Mirapo! Does that work?" He asked his yokaisona

"I don't see why not!" Cubbonyan agreed and heads with Shin's idea

"Now that the Bearin ring is in place, we need to make a barrier circle for the ritual and the enemy! How about some donuts on the way?" Cloudless asked

"Yes please!" I answered

"One large and one small drive-related donuts! Coming right up!" She automatically responded as she entered the scene with the van full of unwanted attention!

"Okay, got my horse mask on and my pants off! Make sure you only enrage the enemy" said Jinpei

"Hi Jinpei!" Said FC Emma

"Oh hi Emma!" He blushed, "GAHHH!" He covered himself with embarrassment, "Emma! What are you doing here?!"

"I'm here to help you!" She turned red as she looked away from him

"With what, turning into a comedic romance scene? I am trying to impress a friend" he explained

"And who was it?" She teased

"Umm... it someone who doesn't want to be messed with" he heard Impyur laughed

"That's funny, keep doing more!" The enemy laughed

"So Jinpei, what's your foot size?" Emma asked in a flirty manner

"Umm... I typically am size 7 in boys" he guessed

"That's not the part I'm measuring from" she flirted

"Ha Ha Ha Ha!" Impyur and his minions giggled hard enough for Ian to give him a good strike, "VOLTAR THUNDASIR!" He charged the lightning strike from above and impaled both of the enemies in temporary paralysis

"WHAT!" Impyur yelled with anger, "YOU DARE MAKE ME A JOKE!"

The gate has opened after one last scream from the inside, "THE JOKE IS OVER WORMS! IM BACK!"

He slammed himself into a wall, "HUH! WHY IS THERE A BARRIER HERE!?"

"I didn't set this barrier here, but you did the right thing putting that up for us Ian!" Cuddly complimented Ian

"Uh it wasn't me Mr. Cuddly" Ian admitted

"Then who is casting magic?" Cuddly turned to see me standing in the control ring of the bearing circle, "Lyn!"

I stood there quietly as I brought Bearin, Beargamot, Vilgox, Paganyan, and Heathenyan into the ring. The extra characters have entered inside the outer ring with Jinpei and Ian inside.

"This summon... Lyn don't!" Cuddly yelled as Cubbonyan came with Shin, now felt like he should be within the circle

"Wait, Shin!" Cubbonyan chased after him, but the barrier prevented him from entering

"It's no use Cubbonyan, Lyn has already learned Bearly Impact" Cuddly informed

"But we made a pact not to summon Bearlygod again! Not after the consequences we've made against the Bakugan world!" Cubbonyan explained

"Excuse me gentlebears, I have a ritual to complete after this event is over" the wisp entered along with the complete demons who are allies to him

"No..." Bearlywrote gasped

"Gods..." Bakunyan swallowed

"Everyday..." she has ended her singing part, "Dogylraeb denommus neeb evah uoy. Adnylraeb, rethguad s'yldduc ylraeb ma I"

The development has been highly shifted from the nearby worlds to the same location, "LYN! BEARLYNDA!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME!" He slammed on the wall for a certain breach, but no prevail

"Dad?" Cubbonyan fainted as his Development has been drained

"Cuddly! Since when did you teach her to..." Bearlywrote fainted as well, it's not avoidable for Nonfictioners to be outside the summon ring.

"What have you..." Bakunyan passed out as Cuddly is beginning to fall under his slumber

"I have, brings back memories" Akunogan smiled

"I wondered if they decided to ditch the pact thing and summon him with their kids..." Brother went to sleep as well as Kevin and Ronaldo...

"I wonder what world is screwed this time..." Akunogan fell asleep during the stage as clouds shifted out of the animal filled world
