(Y/N)'s P.O.V

'No chance. No chance at all.'

I was honestly kind of obsessed with the Prime, but it could never happen.
He was brave, strong, willing to give his life for the war, and then me. Cowardly, weak, and scared of dying for anything.
Honestly, it was a dumb idea, the idea that we might get together.

I already know. I already know he likes Arcee, and she likes him. We used to be so close, and when I told her I liked him, possibly loved him, she got mad. Very mad. She had stormed off and cursed me out.

Why am I telling you this? I don't know. I need to vent. It seems like something that has not happened to me, when millions of other humans don't get the one they love.
Then again, most other humans aren't in love with Autonomous Robotic Organisms from the Planet Cybertronian who came to Earth to fight a secret war.
Most other humans aren't in love with the last prime.

Yet, here I was, having a decent conversation with Ultra Magnus, who hated everyone. Oddly enough, he accepted me when he saw how well Optimus, Ratchet, and I all got along.
I sat on his giant shoulder pad, or, more laid on it.
He told me stories of Cybertron, and his journey to becoming the great general he is now.
Then, we somehow managed to swerve the topic to the human children.

"I am still bewildered at how restless one human child can be! That Miko, how does so much energy fit into a single being? A being as small as herself?", Ultra Magnus questioned.
"She's a ball of pure energy," I shrug. "Have I ever told you how much you sound like Ratchet?"
"Many times, actually."
"Cuz you really sound like him."
"Yes, yes, perhaps I do," Ultra sighed and shook his helm. A small smile crossed his face plates, a rare sight for all, yet it faded as quickly as it came. "I am still the first lieutenant of Optimus Prime, though."

As if on cue, Optimus strolled in. Arcee's helm instantly perked, making me roll my eyes. Ultra Magnus took notice.
"I believe you should just tell him. It's quite obvious, actually. If Arcee is really a true warrior, she will understand how greatly you feel of Optimus and back down," he advised.
"Yeah, that doesn't seem likely," I grumble, nodding towards Arcee and Optimus.

Arcee was smiling flirtatiously, pushing herself up against Optimus as he walked. An uncomforted look was set across his facial plates. As he finally reached Ratchet, she began to back away. She brushed past Ultra Magnus and I, sending a sweet smile to a Ultra, and a sharp glare to me.
"Well...", Ultra Magnus sighed. "I stand corrected."
"No shit," I grumble, resting my chin on my hand.

"(Y/N), are you free for now?", Optimus' voice boomed from behind Ultra Magnus and I. We turned back around to face Optimus. "Ultra Magnus?"
"Sir?", Ultra Magnus saluted.
"May I speak with (Y/N) alone?"
"Yes, sir," Ultra nodded, handing me to Optimus' opened servo and briskly walking away.

"(Y/N), do you mind if we spoke somewhere more... private, shall I say? It is rather personal," Optimus admitted.
I turn around to see Arcee, who looked like she was boiling, and doing a terrible job at hiding it.
I turn back to the Prime and smile. "Yeah, Oka—"

"Optimus! I need to speak with you, urgently!", Arcee called. "It's important!"
Optimus sighed, setting me down. "My deepest apologies, (Y/N). If it is truly as important as she says, I must attend to this. We will converse when I am done."

I grumble profanities at Arcee under my breath, running up the stairs to sit on the couch. When I turned back around, tears nearly fell.

Arcee had her servos on Optimus' face plates, kissing him. And Optimus did resist.
I blinked and rubbed my eyes, looking back to see them both staring at me. That was all it took to send me running. I ran into the elevator, not daring to look anyone in the optics as the doors began to close.

I sat on the cliff ledge, staring out at the sunset. My tears dried, and though I wish I didn't care anymore, damn, I couldn't care more.

An engine revved behind me, and I immediately turned.
Optimus transformed, and began to walk up to me.
I hugged, and turned back around. I heard him transform again, and this time, his door opened and slammed shut. His Holoform sat next to me, and looked out at the sunset as well.

I sighed. "What do you want?"
"Why did you run away?", he asked, turning to me.
"It's nothing," I respond, turning away.
"If it was nothing, you wouldn't have cried," Optimus pointed out. He wasn't stupid.
"Like I said, it's nothing," I growl.
"(Y/N), I only wish to help—"
"You and Arcee!", I shout. "Happy?!"

He stays silent.
I sigh again, and get up. I begin to walk away, when a hand grabs my arm. "What the hell so you wa—mph?!"
He pulls me into a kiss, and pulls away as soon as I turned to him. "If it was about that kiss Arcee gave me, I would like you to know, it meant nothing to me."
"Holy shit...", was all I could breathe out.
"(Y/N), it is not her, I adore. It is you. I love you, (Y/N). Not Arcee."
"Holy shit..."
He pulls me in for another kiss, of which I happily return.
