A person who has no connection with aura or semblance is a blank, they are seen lower than faunus and because of this prejudice they hide amongst the people of remnant in secret. Some are lucky and alive, however some are unfortunately killed out of discrimination.

Y/n Wayne was one of those who were unfortunate enough to be a victim of such atrocities as his parents the Waynes, one of the wealthiest families of Vale were generous enough for the people of Vale to build the communication systems and make a railway system for the people were shot down in an alley.

Even with that it didn't stop him to attending a huntsman academy and even being one of the top students in more ways than one, however he was continuously undermined by his team Rwby. Right now he was making some battle strategies for his team while team Rwby were discussing with each other with plans of their own.

Ruby: "How about I stay from a far range and use my sniper?"

Blake: "Ruby that isn't going to work, no offense but your aim isn't the best"

Y/n then finished and took his five different battle strategies to show to team Rwby.

Y/n: "Hey guys I want to show you something"

The four turned to Y/n as he shown one of his plans.

Y/n: "I was thinking of different strategies for the next fight, since Weiss than use her ice to freeze the ground to disable ground control and then Yang-"

Weiss: "Hey! We are the ones in the participating in the tournament, so I think you should just stand back, stay put and leave everything to us. Besides I don't think a blank like you would know how to plan well in the first place"

Y/n just looked down a bit heartbroken.

Blake: "Weiss that wasn't nice at all"

Weiss: "Am I wrong?"

Ruby: "No but that doesn't mean he's useless"

Weiss: "He's an inexperienced and blank welp!"

Yang: "That's true but no need to be a jerk!"

Yang quickly went next to Y/n wrapping her arm around him.

Yang: "Sorry you had to deal with that, look just let us do the planning okay hun?"

Y/n just looked away.

Y/n: "...okay"

Yang: "Atta boy!"

-timeskip-

Y/n put on his gear as he participated with Rwby and JNPR in a friendly competition, he goes to Rwby's side and gets ready.

(Y/n's gear right now is similar to Batman's usual gear, just with no cape, a limited arsenal and no cowl)

Nora: "Ready to lose?"

Yang: "We can take you on! Four on four!"

Y/n then turned his head to Yang.

Y/n: "Yang, there's five of us"

Yang: "Oh sorry hun! I didn't count you since you don't have aura"

Y/n: "Yang I can still fight, I'm not top of the class for nothing"

Yang: "Okay okay! Four against four plus Y/n"

Y/n huffed before getting in his stance, the two teams ran at each other. Y/n ran to Jaune throwing shurikens at him causing him to raise his shield, as they embedded into the shield the projectiles exploded into smoke. Before Y/n can go in to attack he was shoved to the side by Yang.

Yang: "I got this!"

Yang ran into the smoke and took out Jaune, the blank decided to move onto Ren starting a martial fight between the two. He started with 360 spinning back kick and exchanged two punches and four kicks with Ren until Y/n was swept off his feet, Y/n kipped up and got on his feet. Ren then took out his stormflowers.

Ren: "I still don't know why you're not allowed to participate by your teammates, especially with skills like that"

Y/n *sarcastically*: "I don't know either Ren"

Y/n dodged the bladed attacks and countered one with a swing kick knocking the gun blade out of his hand, he then kicked his inner knee and swing kicked him down.

Ren got up ready to continue his fight with Y/n only for Ruby to zip past him and finish Ren.

Ruby: "I got him!"

Y/n's furrowed his brow in frustration, he then dodged an oncoming spear from Pyrrha and blocked another attack with his gauntlets.

Pyrrha: "Never thought your reaction speed was this good"

Y/n: "Thanks"

Pyrrha continued to slash and stab at Y/n as he continued to deflect her attacks, he then misdirected an attack and threw a swift punch to her side. He then tried to finish with a side kick but Pyrrha blocked it knocking her shield, Pyrrha got back up and continued her assaults until Y/n ducked under her spear, grabbed her arm and threw her onto the ground. He then attacked with a spinning hook kick which Pyrrha blocked but knocked her down nevertheless, Pyrrha got up impressed.

Pyrrha: "You are excellent in martial arts, I don't know why you're always in the sidelines"

Y/n: "Tha-"

He then was pulled aside by a glyph.

Weiss: "Out of my way you dunce!"

Y/n looked down on the ground, he clenched his fist as he grit his teeth. He then yelled out in frustration.

Y/n: "ENOUGH ALREADY!"

Everyone stopped and turned to Y/n.

Y/n: "I am so sick and tired of you guys undermining me!"

Yang: "No we're not! You're our support!"

Y/n: "I'm not support Yang! I can take on my opponent myself!"

Ruby: "What? but I thought you agreed to that when we were back in our dorm?"

Y/n: "I never got a say in that!"

Weiss: "Why should you?! You're just some parentless blank that was unfortunately put on our team! I still don't understand why Ozpin let you in this school!"

Y/n took a step back in disbelief, he then walked back to Rwby's dorm. The two teams continued to fight each other for a while until Team RWBY became victorious.

Yang: "We won!"

Pyrrha: "No, Y/n did"

Weiss: "He didn't even do anything!"

Jaune: "He outplayed me by using shurikens but Yang shoved him away before he could continue"

Ren: "He outdid me and Pyrrha with only martial arts, but you and Weiss decided to take his victory"

Jaune: "He could've beaten all of us, but you three got in his way"

Pyrrha: "Maybe you should pay attention before you accuse Y/n of doing nothing, because compared to all of you combined he did almost all the work"

Nora: "Apart from Blake, she beat me fair and square"

Blake brought a thumbs up.

Jaune: "If this is your girls' attitude to an auraless individual let alone your teammate then you don't deserve to be in this school"

Team JNPR left the arena letting what they said sink into team Rwby.

Ruby: "We should apologize"

Yang: "Yeah you're right"

Blake: "Finally"

Weiss: "You can do that, I honestly couldn't care less about Y/n"

Blake then snapped.

Blake: "Weiss! Y/n is our teammate! You better say sorry or I swear I'll shove a-"

Yang: "Blake calm down okay? Let's just ignore the sourpuss and say sorry to our teammate"

Ruby: "Let's go girls!"

The four went to their dorm, when they opened the door however to see that Y/n wasn't there. In fact, his belongings weren't there either.

Ruby: "Where's Y/n?"

Ozpin: "You four should know by now"

The four turned to their professor.

Ozpin: "After what Miss Schnee said to Mr. Wayne he was fed up with being an aura less student, so he decided to leave Beacon and continue running his family's company"

They looked down in shame, all except for Weiss.

Weiss: "I still don't understand why you decided to let that blank welp in our school"

Ozpin: "I let him in MY academy because he was blooming with potential, after his parent's death he wanted to become a huntsman to make sure no one goes through the same pain he did..."

Weiss: "Well that's his problem, not-"

Ozpin: "Miss Schnee!"

Weiss and the others were taken aback by Ozpin's yell.

Ozpin: "That's his problem?! How dare you say such a thing Miss Schnee!"

Ozpin took a deep breath as he lifted his glasses a bit.

Ozpin: "I expected better from you, from all of you. Now because of Miss Schnee's bigotry, your team will not participate in the Vytal Festival Tournament"

Yang: "What?! But that's not fair!"

Weiss: "Why should I suffer for telling the truth-"

Ozpin: "Silence!"

Yang and Weiss went quiet.

Ozpin: "Y/n's departure from this team was a team effort, so you'll have to earn your place back as a team. I will give you a mission for you to complete when the time comes, if you succeed you will earn your place back in the tournament. Is that understood?"

Team Rwby nodded in unison.

Ozpin: "Good"

Ozpin left the room.

-timeskip-

Yang POV

I stood out into the window of our dorm, while the others were doing their thing. I look up at the city lit up in the night sky, I sigh in shame as I regret how we treated Y/n. It's been six months since that day he left Beacon all because of our foolishness, then I see some kind of silhouette out in the city.

Yang: "Hey guys there's something weird out in the city!"

Ruby: "I'll get the binoculars"

Ruby passed the binoculars to me, I grab it and I look out into the city. I look to see a man in a tactical belt, a cowl, a cape, gauntlets and a tactical suit with what seems to be a bat logo on his chest.

(I'm using the World Record suit for this one)

Yang: "Guys come! There's some guy in a bat costume on the roof!"

Everyone looked out the window and before they can observe him he leapt off of the roof.

Yang: "Should we follow him?"

Weiss: "He could be a criminal, maybe if we do then Ozpin can give our spot back"

Blake: "Sure I guess"

Ruby: "Okay! Let's go!"

The four went out through their window and headed to the city.

-scene change-

In a docks four cars were parked in between the cargo, in one of them came out Roman Torchwick, a notorious crime lord in Vale. His cane clicked on the ground as his men came out with saws, bolt cutters and weapons.

Goon 1: "What do we do from here boss?"

Roman: "You have saws and bolt cutters for a reason!"

The goons then started breaking into the containers taking whatever they please, it would be their dream come true...except their comeuppance as arrived. The mysterious figure stood in the crane observing the area, he pressed a button on his cowl and scanned the area.

???: "What have we got here Alfred?"

Alfred (in coms): "Sixteen hostile sir excluding Roman Torchwick, they are divided into four groups while Roman is in the middle of the docks. I also must recommend that you stay in the shadows sir, your old friends are here"

???: "They're not my friends Alfred, I'll see you back at the manor"

The figure then leapt off of the crane and expanded his cape letting him glide through the night sky.

-scene change-

Rwby went into the docks looking around the place, the four then saw four goons sawing though the bars of the cargo.

Ruby: "Hey!"

The four goons turned their heads.

Goon 1: "Oh shit! It's her!"

Goon 2: "What are we waiting for then?!"

The four goons armed themselves with hatchets and machetes, as the team of huntresses readied themselves the area exploded in smoke.

Ruby: "Huh?! Who did that?! Yang?!"

Yang: "Ruby?! Where are you?!"

Weiss: "Everyone calm down! Let the smoke die out!"

The four then hear grunts and yells from the goons, as the smoke cleared they saw what happened: two goons were knocked out, one was hanging upside down by his leg and the other one was caught against a lamppost by a bola. Blake blinked in surprise.

Blake: "That was literally ten seconds and they're down for the count?"

Yang: "Either this guy is good or these guys are really bad"

Ruby: "There's gotta be more goons here! If we could just-"

Then they hear gunfire, screaming and lights shattering from one side, then the same happened in two other direction. The four went to the area to see what happened

-scene change-

Roman heard the same screams, gunshots and shattering lights, he ran into his car and loaded his cane gun. Team RWBY then found Roman's car three clicks away.

Ruby: "It's Torchwick!"

Weiss: "What are we waiting for? Let's get him!"

Team RWBY then ran to the car, Roman on the other hand was trying to start up the car in a nervous wreck. Team RWBY then saw a silhouette gently gliding down the car making no sound.

Roman: "Who the hell are you?"

Roman then heard the glass shatter as he was pulled out of the car, he then was face to face with a figure with black armor and in a menacing cowl.

???: "I'm Batman"

He then headbutt Roman knocking him out, The Batman cuffed Roman on a light post.

Ruby: "Hey!"

Batman saw team RWBY running towards him, he threw some kind of throwing stars at the team making them stopping and get to cover giving enough tine for him to grapple into the air and drop smoke pellets letting him disappear into the night.
Team RWBY coughed until the smoke settled.

Ruby: "Who the heck was that?"

Blake: "He called himself Batman"

Yang walked up to see small bat shaped shurikens embedded on the cargo, she pulled one out and took a closer inspection. She then accidentally cut her finger, then it hit her.

Yang: "This stuff can cut through our aura!"

Ruby: "Why would someone need something like that?"

Weiss: "Probably to kill us!"

Yang: "Weiss, if he wanted to kill us he would've done it right here right now"

Blake: "Okay enough guys, let's head back to Beacon and not get caught by Ozpin"

The three nodded and headed back to Beacon, yet even when they left one question still lingered: Who is the Batman? Where did he come from? And why is he in Vale?

-timeskip 3 months-

After the event that night the news spread like wildfire with more incoming about The Batman, many criminals were put to justice by him and the crime rates started to decrease by a lot. Right now it was night time and Team RWBY was about to go on a study spree.

Ruby: "Alright! We are high on coffee and we are all set up! Let's get studying! Banzai!"

BY: "Banzai!"

Weiss: *unenthusiastically* "Banzai"

Before they can touch a single pencil on the paper Ruby got an urgent message from Ozpin.

Ruby: "Ozpin wants us to go on a night mission? And to meet him on the roof?"

Yang: "Really? Never thought that Ozpin would need his students to do that"

Weiss: "Why the roof of all places?"

Blake: "Let's not waste any time, let's go"

Team RWBY walked to the roof, they saw Ozpin turning to them.

Ozpin: "Good to see you here Team RWBY"

Ruby: "What is the mission Professor?"

Ozpin: "There has been recent kidnappings of women in Vale over the past few weeks, we have found the location on where they are taken. I need you for ladies to liberate them"

Ruby: "Don't worry professor Ozpin, we will complete the mission"

Ozpin: "Good"

Team RWBY left to the bullhead, Ozpin then looked on his scroll a recording of Batman.

Ozpin: "What are you hiding?"

-scene change-

The warehouse was bustling with criminals, from serial killers to mob bosses the criminals were just dying to start auctioning for Vale's finest women...however little did they know that outside the building was the caped crusader himself. Batman stood at a vantage point observing the area scanning the area reporting back to the computer.

Batman: "How many hostiles Alfred?"

Alfred: "About thirty men and another ten heavily armed"

Batman: "And the victims?"

Alfred: "They are twenty of them sir, located in the west of the warehouse"

Batman: "Thanks Alfred"

Alfred: "You are welcome sir"

Batman turned off the comms and glided silently on to the warehouse, he then saw one guard switching shifts with the other. The moment the second guard left Batman zipped down and knocked him out, he opened the warehouse door to see all the young women that were kidnapped and taken away from Vale in cages. The girls gasped and whimpered at the sight of Batman.

Batman: "It's okay you're going to be alright, I'll help you all get out of here"

Batman destroyed the padlocks and quietly opened the cage doors.

Batman: "Take the trucks and head to the east from here, you'll be able to make it to Vale"

Batman went out and knocked out the guards, he then watched as all the young women drove away back to Vale. Batman went back inside and took out a grapple gun to be zipped up to the support beams on the roof, he carefully navigated as he observed the area. He then saw the host come out.

Host: "Gentlemen! I thank you all for participating in the auction"

Batman scanned the guards, they were holding assault rifles containing dust ammunition five fire ammunition and another five with ice ammunition. Batman took out some pucks from his belt ready to disable the guns, until the wall exploded revealing none other than team RWBY.

Yang: "It's party time boys!"

Yang went in guns blazing as the others went to stop the others, the guards pointed their guns until pucks landed on their guns. The pucks then exploded destroying the guns.

Guard 1: "What the hell?!"

The guards looked up, only for them to piss their pants.

Guard 2: "Holy Shit!"

Guard 3: "It's the Batman!"

Batman glided down taking out two of the goons, he then took out the next one with a front kick to the chest and took out another one with a spinning hook kick. Batman smashes a goon's head with a hammer fist, kicked his inner thigh, punched him in the jaw and pushed off him to kick another goon dazing him.

Batman then did a flip kick on the dazed goon and took out the other two incoming goons kipping back up onto his feet.

Batman then barely dodged a crossbow bolt, he then saw the host holding an auto crossbow.

Host: "You've ruined my auction! Don't you know how much money I lost?!"

Batman stayed silent much to the Host's dissatisfaction, he started shooting more bolts which Batman blocked or broke with his gauntlets. He then caught the last one remaining inside the bolt carrier, as the Host tried to reload Batman threw the crossbow bolt on the floor and ran at the Host. He then tried to shoot the Bat only for his auto crossbow to be smacked to the side giving Batman the opportunity to punch him off the stage knocking the air out of him.

A criminal then caught Batman's eye, when he did however his eyes widened as he didn't believe who it was. It was the same man who murders Thomas and Martha Wayne in Crime Alley, it was Joe Chill.

Weiss POV

I fought off some of the criminals taking them out, I'm glad the Batman was here or we'd be having a bit more trouble. When I looked at him however I saw him looking at some random criminal in shock and disbelief, it was the last thing I saw until I felt someone hit me in the back. I felt some thugs beating me with blunt weapon, I covered myself the best I can as I felt my vision getting dark.

Weiss: "Save me...Bat...man..."

Third POV

Batman was about to run after the man who caused so much pain, however he saw Weiss getting beaten by five thugs. After a second Batman yelled out in frustration and went after the five men throwing his batarangs at them as they embedded into them, Batman knocked them out in swift kicks and punches. Before he can do anything else he saw Yang confronted him.

Yang: "Gotcha you nocturnal weirdo!"

Yang the blasted at his and Weiss' direction, without a second thought he shielded Weiss and felt the blasts against his back. He held onto her as he was blasted out of the warehouse continuing to shield her from the impacts, Batman groaned in pain as he got up. He tapped onto his gauntlet before positioning Weiss into a better posture.

Weiss: "W-Wha...what are you-"

Weiss then heard something coming, something big. Batman then leapt up into the air as a tank like vehicle raced under him, it was the Batmobile.

Batman then looked at the heiress, he knew he can't leave her there but his identity was also at stake if he did bring her. Why should he anyways? Weiss treated him like garbage compared to everyone else and shouldn't deserve his help, nevertheless Batman took Weiss to the back seat of the Batmobile and drove off.

-scene change-

Weiss' eyes fluttered open, she felt like crap after the beating she took tonight. She got up and saw that her injuries were all patched up, she then took a look at the area she was in. She looked at the area around her, she saw an arsenal of gadgets, a large computer, and the tank that drove her here. The rest of the area was a cave with stalagmites hanging from the ceiling, as she looked up there was one thing that was abundant in this cave: bats. It was a big giveaway on where she was.

Weiss: "So this is the vigilante's hideout?"

Batman: "Something like that"

Weiss then turned her head to the dark knight himself, she got up only to wince at the pain coming.

Batman: "Careful, they almost broke you into pieces out there"

Weiss: "My team didn't need your help"

Batman: "I was there before your short-fused bomb decided to explode"

Batman went onto his computer, Weiss went to his side seeing what he was doing. She then watched as Batman typed the name "Joe Chill" onto the supercomputer, the two read the headlines of a newspaper on the computer

"Wayne family murdered in crime alley"

Batman: "Where was the last place Joe Chill was seen?"

The computer answered in less than a second surprising Weiss, it revealed that Joe Chill was in his apartment complex. Batman then got up and walked to his arsenal.

Weiss: "What are you doing?"

Batman: "I'm driving you back to Beacon, what happens after is none of your business"

Weiss: "No it isn't, you just randomly appear out of nowhere and start taking the law into your own hands. That's the VPD's job, not yours"

Batman: "The VPD are rotten to the core, if they did their job properly Vale would've been a safer place. Of course you wouldn't understand"

Weiss: "Of course I understand!"

Batman: "What do you understand? The fact that criminals like Torchwick roam around free in Vale? That innocent people are harmed because the police won't stay and protect the city? Or the fact that the VPD or even the huntsmen and huntresses don't even bat an eye after murderers like Joe Chill kill innocent victims like the Waynes?"

Weiss: "What importance does the Wayne's death have to you?"

Batman: "More than you think"

Batman walked to the Batmobile, Weiss then saw something in the corner of her eye. Two theatre tickets stained in blood, then it hit her. She turned her head calling to the man in the cowl.

Weiss: "Y/n?"

Batman stopped in his tracks, he then looked at the heiress. He took off his cowl revealing the boy who left Beacon all those months ago.

Y/n: "You're annoyingly persistent you know that Schnee?"

Weiss: "So you lied your way out of Beacon to pursue this stupid gig?"

Y/n: "At least I'm doing a better job than your team combined"

Weiss: "They're your team too"

Y/n: "No they are not, especially not you Schnee"

Weiss sighed frustrated by Y/n's response.

Weiss: "I never wanted to hurt-"

Y/n: "Yes you did! Yes you fucking did!"

Weiss was taken aback from Y/n's outburst, she realized how much damage has been done to Y/n. He truly changed from the ecstatic and confident student to a dark and stoic vigilante.

Y/n: "I hated myself for letting my parents die in that alley, all because I was afraid to watch some stupid broadway play! To make matters worse they were killed because they're blanks, and the moment you called me a parent less blank I knew that I can't stay any longer"

Weiss: "So what? You became some kid with a trust fund and a grudge. It's not my fault that you're-"

Weiss then felt something slide into her skin, then a thunk of a batarang from behind sounded. She felt a bit of blood trickling down her cheek.

Y/n: "I trained the hardest I can before I joined Beacon, you lived as the highest bitch in Atlas and you got everything you want with nothing taken back. I lost my parents and no form of money or fake fucks like you can change that"

Weiss: "...That doesn't mean you should dress up like a bat and go around hunting criminals, it's not good for your health"

Y/n: "You're one to talk, I've never been stressed out of my life until you decided to ruin my life. I decided to save your ass and here you are not even giving me a fucking thank you..."

Weiss let all this sink in, but before she could even say anything Y/n put on his cowl turning on the voice modulator.

Batman: "Stay out of my way Schnee, or next time I won't be saving you"

Y/n went in the batmobile driving off. Weiss sighed as she looked down in failure.

Weiss: "I wish I could take what I just said all back"

???: "There is still time Miss Schnee"

Weiss turned her head to see a man with grey hair in a suit, she immediately recognized him from the different books he has written.

Weiss: "You're Alfred Pennyworth"

Alfred: "Indeed I am Miss"

Weiss: "...I'm sorry how we treated Y/n"

Alfred: "Its alright miss..."

Alfred then wiped his glasses.

Alfred: "Y/n was always trying to do what was best for Vale, he dedicated his life in becoming a huntsman to prevent the same things that happened to his family. When he quit that dream didn't leave his heart, so he became The Batman"

Weiss: "I wish he could come back, my team regrets their actions, I regret my actions"

Alfred: "He was very fond of you and team RWBY when he joined Beacon, I just hope that fondness is still in him"

Weiss: "I'll do my best to bring him back, trust me Mr. Pennyworth"

-Scene Change-

Batman/Y/n POV

I stood on top the highest building in near the location of my target, I scanned the building that Joe Chill was in on the camera footage.

Batman: "Any sign of him Alfred?"

Alfred: "He's on the roof sir, but I think you should reconsider what you are doing"

Batman: "Alfred, he's the man that killed my parents. You think I can let that go?"

Alfred: "No sir, but vengeance isn't the-"

I turned off my communications and glided down the apartment, Joe Chill was smoking on the roof looking at the city of Gotham. I grit my teeth, the same man who took my family away from me stood right in front of me. Now it's his time to pay.

Joe: "Look at the shit stain Gotham's become"

Batman: "Don't act like you're not the reason why it is a shit stain"

Joe turned his head to me in complete shock.

Joe: "Y-You're real?!"

I walked towards him causing Joe Chill to brandish a knife in defense, Joe swung his knife which I dodged and then I grabbed his wrist kicking him twice in the torso and once in the head. I went for a pop 360 which Joe ducked under, but Batman countered with a push kick knocking him to the ground.

I picked him up by the collar my glare being clear and visible to Joe.

Joe: "I didn't do anything!"

Batman: "You know that's bullshit! You murdered Martha and Thomas Wayne! Left his son in the cold damp Crime Alley!"

Joe: "That was a decade ago! Why do you care so much about something that happened ten years ago?!"

I took off my cowl and took it off revealing my self to him, the scared boy who's parents that did everything for this city shot in the alleyway now a hardened and skilled vigilante. The look of shock on his face was priceless, I relished his disbelief before putting my cowl back on.

Joe: "Y-You're that kid! You're-"

I punched him in the jaw breaking it. I grabbed him by the collar and dragged Joe across the roof.

Batman: "They spent so much for this city to be better, they were innocent parents of a ten year old..."

I held his jacket over the air.

Batman: "...I'll make sure you pay for what you did those ten years ago"

???: "Batman!"

My heart hardened when my actions were stopped by four individuals none other than team RWBY.

Batman: "What the hell do you four want?"

Yang: "We want our teammate back!"

Batman: "You got the wrong guy"

Ruby: "That's where you're wrong! I know our teammate is still there! Even behind a cowl of a big meanie!"

Batman: "You came at the wrong time kid, take your team and go home"

Blake: "We're sorry what happened before and you have every right to be angry! But we didn't want you to get hurt out there!"

Yang: "If you got hurt we wouldn't be able to forgive ourselves!"

Batman: "Wayne was able to handle himself, yet you never gave him a chance"

Weiss: "Let him go now Y/n!"

Batman: "You shut the hell up! He's the reason why I suffer! People like him! People like you! They're the reason why blanks like me suffer!"

Weiss: "Vengeance isn't the way to cope, let us help you Y/n...please"

I looked back, a bit softened up. What Weiss said as much as I want to say she's wrong I can't, staying up, constantly tracking down criminals, was his desire for vengeance giving him a better life? Or a curse he can't take back? That thought however was stopped with a loud bang, the four girls gasped, Batman's torso started bleeding as Joe Chill fired a gun on the soft spot of his armor. With the quick loss of blood and sleepless nights working he fell off the building out of fatigue dropping Joe Chill with him, as he fell he felt his eyes closing succumbing into darkness.

Y/n: "Mom...Dad...I'm coming..."

Third POV

Ruby: "Weiss! Help me out!"

Ruby ran down and Weiss placed glyphs for her to run on, she then grabbed Batman and used her semblance to get back up. They four checked on him and saw the bullet wound.

Ruby: "Blake! Call in Ozpin! Weiss! Help me seal the wound!"

Yang: "What do I do?"

Weiss: "Give me one of your fire dust shells!"

Yang handed Weiss the shell, Weiss poured the dust into the wound which shot Y/n awake screaming from the searing pain. Yang hugged Y/n close comforting him through the pain.

Yang: "It's ok hun, we've got you"

Y/n's breathing was lighter now, he then fell asleep in Yang's arms as the bullhead landed in the distance.

-scene change-

Y/n woke up inside Beacon's infirmary on a hospital bed, as he got up he grunted as he felt the pain on his side. He held his side as he got up fighting the pain, he then saw none other than team RWBY sleeping in the room. He saw Ruby sleeping on the couch, Blake sleeping on the chairs, and Yang and Weiss were sleeping on the floor. He looked to the side to see his gear tidied up, he then heard Ruby stir from her sleep and wake up to see Y/n.

Ruby: "Oh hey Y/n glad to see you're better"

She then went back to sleep, but then she realized he was awake.

Ruby: "Wait! Y/n!"

Ruby tackled Y/n into a hug while waking up the others with her squeaky response, the other three got up and joined in the hug as well.

Ruby: "We're so sorry Y/n!"

Y/n: "It's okay guys I'm-"

Yang: "Quiet! Just let us have this moment"

Y/n just waited as team RWBY let their hug last.

Y/n: "You know why I became what I am"

Blake: "Yes we do and we understand that"

Yang: "Please come back to Beacon"

Y/n: "You know I can't"

Ruby: "But why?"

Y/n: "Crime isn't going to magically stop in Vale, there will always be someone coming in to do no good. You guys are still Beacon students, my job here is to protect Vale while yours is to protect the entirety of Remnant. So please promise me..."

Y/n kissed each of them in the forehead causing them to blush.

Y/n: "...Keep the world safe from itself, okay?"

RWBY: "Okay"

I stood up from the highest building in Vale keeping an eye out for anything serious, I then see two men threatening a family. I glide down and disarmed them with two batarangs, I watched as the family sighed in relief while the two criminals trembled in fear. They all should be afraid, for I am vengeance, I am the night. I. Am. Batman
