Description: Marinette is 23 years old.  To say she is upset is an understatement.  How could he?  

  Adrien is 24 years old, and it seems he broke his promise, or did he?

    Marinette's POV:
    

     I can not believe it.

    "Marinette, calm down."

    "Calm down, you are halfway across the world, and you expect me to calm down?"
 

      I  held the phone in my hands but was furious.

      How dare he do this.

      "You Promised!"

      "Marinette, I swear I meant to be back on time, but I got held up at the airport."

      "I do not believe you."

    I see the text message.

   It is a photo of him on an airport bench.

   I  sigh.

  I feel bad now for blowing up like this over the phone.

    "I am sorry, Adrien."

    "Marinette, look, I have to go.  I have to check to see when the flight boards.  I hope to be back soon."

     "Okay, see you when you get here then."

      "See you then, bye."

      "Bye."

    I hang up.

     It dawns on me he did not say, his usual, "I love you, Marinette," before he hung up.

     I worry he might dump me when he returns.

     All because I had to be angry over a stupid promise of all things.
