Natsu's POV:
Today, I was standing outside my home. I heard some noise in the thicket area. Perhaps it is a deer I thought. I walked closer to it and gasped.
It was no deer. It was a girl trapped in the thicket. How had she gotten here? Is there a way to get her out?
"Hi," I said.
"Hi, I am Lucy," She said.
"Hi, pretty lady, I am Natsu," I said.
Lucy looked at me in surprise and tried to move. She couldn't. How did she get this way?
"You are in the thicket," I said the obvious.
"Yes, and it appears I am stuck," She said.
I tried to pull her out. That did not work.
I tried to shove the bushes out of the way. She remained stuck.
I attempted to saw a branch loose from a nearby tree. She was still there.
"Miss Lucy, how did you get in there?" I asked.
"I am not sure. I came this way and admired the flowers, then I tripped," She said.
" Next thing, I knew I was stuck," She told me.
I smiled. She was lovely to look at. My garden is better with her in it I thought.
I saw her struggle to break free.
The thicket appears to have a firm hold on her.
I felt bad for her. Truly I did.
I burnt a small portion of the brush and pulled it free. Then, I stomped on the seared parts.
The fire went out, but the girl remained as she was previously. I was not sure if she died.
"Lucy," I called out hoping for some signs of life despite the charred ruins of ash.
"N-Natsu, " I heard her mutter.
"yes," I asked.
"Get me out of here!" She shouted. I knew she was not angry with me. She only wanted my help out. That is all.
I shook the thorns around her. One of them pricked my hand. The thorn fell off and the hand healed itself.
Lucy groaned. She was uncomfortable I could tell.
What more could I do? I could not get her to budge.
I pulled out a hatchet. I would try once more, but would I succeed? Or would she remain trapped in my thicket area?
