Letter in the Sand part 2 two-shot story by Summer Cheng (@SummerCheng37)

  Marinette's  POV:

I  stood before my bedroom window.

  I  glanced outside.

I saw him standing there.

I noticed him stop for a moment.

I  watched as he read it.

Wow, he is the first person to read it.

Perhaps, he is my prince charming.

  I  sure hope so.

It has been a while since I felt love.

I  have been alone since age ten.

I  sighed.

I   felt a tear fall as he walks away.

I closed the blinds out of fear.

Fear to face the truth. I  sat on the floor. I was not sure what else to do.

I  heard a voice call out, "I will find her."

I  stood up. I went out the door to the beach.

  I ran to him.

I did not say a word.

I  was not sure what to say.

  I  sat in the sand.

 I   wrote my name.

I looked up to hear him say, "Hi, I am Adrien."

"So, you are the one who left the letter."

    "What do you mean?"

"Come on, do not be shy now."

I act as if I am clueless.

"I know you are the one who wrote it."

"See, I took a photo of it with my camera."

     I nodded my head.

    "My name is Marinette."

"It is great to meet you, Adrien."

Little did I know that encounter was the start of new beginnings.

I  had no clue that in a few years from then I would be happily married and have four children, a hamster, a goldfish, and a carnary.

     Well, goodbye now.

    Until the  next,

two-shot story,

bye-bye, little owlets!

Summer out!
