Stucky
{Just a heads up: Things get a little heated in this, but not as far as... you know, lol.}

It was a warm, clear night. The sky didn't have a cloud in it, letting the bright moonlight shine down upon the sleepy U.S. Army encampment. Smoke from several campfires curled through the still air as well as cigarette trails, giving the surrounding air a strong smoky smell. The night was young, the beer was cold, and Bucky was having a great time with the guys of the Howling Commandos, especially Steve.

While he still hadn't gotten used to seeing his friend so tall and muscular, it certainly didn't stop him from acting like it was old times again. He would never admit it out loud, only saying that it was just puppy dog love, but something about the way Steve had changed physically while still keeping his personality made him much more attractive. Bucky couldn't help but keep his eye on him the entire time, only looking away to avoid suspicion and possible taunts from the others.

After telling a few stories, laughing a lot, and drinking a couple beers, Bucky felt his limbs become heavy. He leaned forwards on the wooden table and cracked a grin, his vision a bit hazy. "Alright pals, I think I'm gonna turn in for the night." He stated, his words slurring a bit. He stood up and stumbled a bit, but kept his composure as he threw a lazy salute towards the group.

However, Steve had decided to get up too, adjusting the collar of his shirt. He was unable to get drunk due to the serum, but he thought he'd turn in for the night as well. "I'm gonna go too. G'night, fellas." He said with a slight grin on his face.

Gabe snorted in amusement. "Alright. See ya tomorrow, pretty boy!" At that, everyone busted into drunken laughter, hootin' and hollerin' like wild animals.

Steve just shook his head and sighed, a soft chuckle escaping him as he trotted off to catch up with Bucky, who hadn't gotten very far with his heavy stumbling. He threw his arm over Bucky's shoulders and pulled him close so he could keep him upright. When Bucky would stray a little from the path, he'd make sure to steer him in the right direction.

He led him back to his tent safely, said goodnight, and was about to head off towards his own tent when Bucky suddenly grabbed the collar of his uniform and yanked him back into the tent. "Buck!" Steve exclaimed in surprise, stumbling a few steps before tripping over his friend's cot and falling onto it.

"Why don't you stay a lil longer, Stevie? I'm a bit lonely." Bucky drawled, his voice husky as he sauntered towards Steve. He bent over the blond and planted his hands on either side of his head, a lazy smile appearing on his face. "That serum really filled you in. You don't look like such a skeleton anymore."

Steve rolled his eyes, trying to ignore the blush that was creeping its way across his face. "Crazy, isn't it? Now c'mon, Buck. You're drunk and you need to sleep it off." He went to sit up, but Bucky pushed him back down against the cot. His firm grip was unbreakable.

A little bit of a whine trailed through Bucky's parted lips and he cocked his head to the side like a puppy. "Aw, c'mon Steve. Can't we have a little fun? I'm not tired." He was obviously tired, but had other ideas in mind besides sleeping. "Please?" It felt somewhat strange to hear such a small whimper come from a battle-hardened soldier like Bucky. Steve couldn't resist it.

"Okay, fine. But we gotta keep quiet, alright?" Steve could tell that Bucky wasn't really listening when he said that, but didn't get a chance to repeat himself before Bucky crashed their lips together. That was quickly forgotten as he melted into the kiss. He wrapped his arms around Bucky's neck and could feel Bucky's cold hands slipping under his shirt. Shivers traveled up and down his spine and he tried his best to stay quiet.

As the kiss became more heated, Bucky pushed Steve further up onto the cot so he could straddle his hips and keep him pinned underneath him. His fingertips tingled whenever they brushed up against Steve's skin. He used to be able to feel Steve's ribcage back before the serum changed him, but now all he could feel was toned muscle.

After the brief make-out session, they finally parted, gasping for air as sweat clung to their clothes and skin. The adrenaline rush was amazing. It made them want to keep going, but they knew it wasn't a good idea to do so. They needed to keep this a secret, no one could know about what they were doing. They couldn't know about the secret make-out sessions, the quick kisses behind trees when no one was looking, or the love they expressed for each other.

They were just two good friends fighting their way through this terrible war.

They were each other's special little secret.
