••A secret romance ensues between two soldiers who are supposed to be enemies.
AurorasPalace hehehe get it? bc they're red and blue? (I'll see myself out—)
Somewhere in an old outpost tucked away in the gulch, two lovers hid themselves from the rest of the world.
A soft yellow glow from the dimmed lantern across the room illuminated Dogma's features. His strong jaw, that roman nose, those sculpted lips...
For the first time in what felt like decades, Minnesota could see him for who he truly was. Not the enemy soldier she was used to.
She brushed her thumb over his cheek, gooseflesh prickling across her arm at the touch. His skin was soft and warm. She could feel a subtle ridge of scar tissue under the pad of her thumb as she brushed over the scar near his right eye.
She rested on top of him, her legs straddling his waist. His hands held the back of her thighs, fingertips pressing gently into supple skin. His thick, dark hair spilled across the pillow beneath his head like rivers of ink. She leaned forward, gazing down at him and waiting with bated breath before moving to press her lips against his.
Moments like these were rare and needed to be treasured. Tomorrow, they'd be back at each other's throats as if nothing had changed.
The kiss soon intensified, passion coursing through the physical contact. They'd break apart for a moment, gasping for air, before diving right back in. These kisses were hungry—desperate. Months of no contact had left them starved of touch. They craved it. More importantly, they craved each other.
They finally parted for longer than a moment, hot breaths meeting the air between them. Dogma gazed up at Minnesota, sparks of lust flickering in the golden depths of his eyes. However, he knew that once they started, they wouldn't be able to stop—and that would only make matters worse. He hated having to live in restraint. She did too, but it was for the best.
Minnesota twirled a strand of Dogma's hair around her finger, sighing softly.
"This is dangerous, Wentz." She murmured.
"I know." He said. His hand moved to rest on top her of her thigh. "But when has danger ever stopped you?"
She laughed, then leaned in to give him another kiss. "Never. It keeps me on my toes."
(I uhhhh lost motivation and didn't know where I was going with this so sorry for the abrupt ending-)
