1: ATLA - Aang's sick days
Aang was sick and needed rest. Katara commanded Appa to land while holding the sick male in her arms. Sokka was too busy looking for animals to hunt as they landed to comment on the sudden sickness that washed over their friend.
"Twinkle-toes just loves to pick the best times to get sick. I mean what could be better than getting horrible sick in the middle of nowhere." Toph would have glared at Aang, but she couldn't exactly make eye connect with him.
A sleeping Zuko stirred.
"Why'd we stop?" He asked. His voice was a bit gravely since he just woke up.
"Aang's sick. Zuko, could you build a fire?" Katara asks.
"I think the question is do we have what we need for a fire." Sokka said as he dug through their supplies.
"We have a fire bender Sokka. Of course we have the ability to make a fire." Katara crossed her arms.
"Katara, you're forgetting one crucial thing. While we have someone who can make fire on command we have nothing to keep the fire going." Toph stomped. The ground shook slightly.
"I'm blind and I can still see that we don't have the needed supplies for a fire." Toph sounded annoyed.
"Okay, Can you and Zuko get some wood for a fire?" Katara pointed at Toph as she said you.
"If you're pointing to me I'll try. I don't think I'll have much luck though." Toph said.
Zuko and Toph walk off in search for fire wood. It was late afternoon and they had landed in a wooded area near a river. The only issue was it seemed that it had rained recently. Everything was damp.
Katara took Aang off of Appa and lay him next to The their stuff. Appa lay on his stomach and watched carefully over Aang. He yawned as Momo fell asleep on his head.
The late afternoon's sky turned a warm colour before darkening into a nice cool blue as the temperatures dropped. Zuko and Toph came back and have the stuff for a fire. Sokka who had gone to scout out the area came back with a lay of the land and some food.
As if on cue Momo perks up on Appa's head and glides over to Sokka. The lemur snatched some of the food and took off. Sokka yelled in protest, but didn't do much else. Everyone else laughed except for Aang who was having a fever dream.
Appa watched everyone closely as they all did things to Aang. The bison wanted to ensure his master was safe. Katara would change the towel in Aang's forehead, and Sokka would poke at Aang's head with a stick occasionally. Toph was in an earth tent on the edge of the fire's glow, and Zuko was preparing tea.
"Have him drink this. My uncle would give it to me when I was sick." The ex-prince handed a cup of hot tea over to Katara who thanked him.
The air was quite chilly compared to the warm temperatures of the day, and the slight breeze which would have been nicer a few hours ago made Aang shiver. With the help of Sokka, the waterbender and warrior got Aang closer to the heat of the flames.
Appa's eyes were half lidded as for he had grown tired. Momo flew over and curled up next to Appa turning in for the night. As the fire grew smaller Toph went into her earth tent to sleep. Later followed by Sokka and then Zuko.
Appa who was awoken by the sound of Toph closing off her earth tent watched the healer work her magic on the avatar. The big fluffy beast was worried about his master who mysteriously fell ill.
"Don't worry Appa. I'm sure Aang will be fine tomorrow." She reassured him.
Appa yawned showing his rounded teeth.
"Yeah, I'm tired too Appa." The girl yawned. One of her hair loopies came undone while she worked, but she was too tired to fix it or notice.
Katara fell asleep by Aang's side. Appa relaxed and nodded off seeing as everything had calmed down.

Momo was up early. His large ears perking up at the sound of approaching foot steps. The lemur flew over to Aang and made a chittering sound in attempt to alert him someone was coming.
Aang lets out a soft groan and mumbled something amongst the lines of "Mmm egg custard."
That seemed to wake Appa who also sensed the approaching person. The Bison stood up and faced the direction the foot steps were coming from. Appa let out a warning noise telling who ever it was to back off.
Katara had awoken to the sound of Appa's warning call. "What is it?" She asked. Her mind was slow after all she'd just woken up.
Zuko emerged from the bushes. His pesant hair was a mess and had some leaves and branches sticking out of it.
"Zuko?" Katara asked as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
"What is it?" The firebender replied.
"Why were you up so early?" She asked.
"I never went to sleep." Zuko replied plainly.
"How come?" Katara asked slightly suspicious of this.
"Why do you need to know?" The male didn't see why this was a big deal.
"Because you could have met up with a bunch of fire nation soldiers over night and because Aang is sick you think you can ca-" Zuko cut Katara off. "I'm not like that anymore! I'm here to teach the avatar firebending. I've realized my past mistakes. I thought we already went over this." There was a fire in his eyes.
Zuko walked away from the scene before the situation escalated. Katara went back to tending to Aang. Appa made a noise as if to tell Zuko to come back. The male just walked into the woods clearly angered.

It was the next day and Aang seemed to be doing better. He was awake and talking, but he was too weak to travel. Hours passed and Aang seemed to be getting more energy back. Zuko had made Aang drink an energizing tea and Katara used her healing abilities to hopefully act as a remedy.
By nightfall Aang was in good condition again. The gaang agreed they would resume travel in the morning.
A/N: I just need writing practice. I also need to practice writing people in character, so here you go! Don't forget you can still request things!
