Chiron would have been a useful asset in 2020 he would be a one centaur CDC. I'm trying to do justice to an idea in 2nd POV. Pls give feedback. 

-Mystery

Everyone in your family told you that you were gorgeous, absolutely stunning or some other variation of that, yet whenever you went out in public your looks were never complimented. 

You never wore make-up because you didn't like the feel of it on your skin. 

You preferred a more athletic comfortable look. Most days you wore leggings and either a sweatshirt or sometimes a T-Shirt.  

Sometimes before you learned of your heritage you father told you stories upon stories about a boy taken to the human world for his protection. Each time you hear these stories you were utterly enthralled by them. You soaked up every single word until you could recite the stories to yourself. 

When you turned fourteen it turned out that your best friend Grover Underwood had goat legs. Grover told you stories about his best friend Percy Jackson, but when you got to Camp Half-Blood, you didn't expect your heart to skip a few beats when you looked upon the Son of Poseidon. 

His black hair in a windswept adorable mess. His tan perfect even though in the middle of winter -as it was now- it is almost impossible to keep a tan. His deep-sea green eyes that you could swim in forever and ever. He wore a Camp Half-Blood shirt that showed off his muscles and beach shorts that showed his perfect legs. 

You didn't know at the time, but Percy was thinking the same things about you. He had found you attractive not just because of your heritage but because you didn't seem cocky about your looks, but instead you didn't seem to know that you were beautiful. Even in the sweatshirt and legging ensemble you choose to wear on the cold winter day. The sweatshirt was not overly baggy, and the tights were not overly tight. 

At the campfire that night of course, your mother just had to trade your comfortable clothes for an elegant white dress with gold accents and trade your loose hair for a curly half up half down look with a crown of braids. Your mother added just enough makeup to make your natural beauty pop. 

"All hail Julia Lovelock, Daughter of Aphrodite," Chiron said while bowing. The whole camp joined in on the bow. It was of course tradition when a new demigod is claimed. 

The hair and makeup your mother gave you didn't go away for another week. Luckily, you were able to change out of the dress. 

"Wow! Girl you are stunning," your sister Silena told you. 

"Um...thank you," you replied a little flustered. Many times, by your family you were called stunning, and you always brushed it off but when your sisters and brothers said it you got a little flustered. 

You quickly learned that most of the kids at the camp thought that children of Aphrodite were not interested in fighting. The kids in cabin ten were interested in protecting their camp but preferred to go about it in a different way. You decided you wanted to learn how to use a dagger and to get better with a bow. 

For about a year before you discovered your heritage you had been on an archery team, so your archery skills were not bad but definitely not up to par with an Apollo kid. 

Annabeth gave you lessons on how to use the dagger which apparently didn't help deter the boys who tried to woo you. If anything, it made them worse. Apparently, lots of boys at the camp find beautiful, scary, and capable women hot. 

You had at least two friends at camp and one best friend. Your best friend was none other than Percy Jackson and your two other friends were Annabeth Chase and Grover. 

You may or may not have a not so little crush on Percy.

Two weeks since you stumbled into to camp and for some reason Hades was mad at Poseidon and decided to take it out on the demigods. First, he tried getting to Percy directly but that didn't work. So now you were in this predicament. 

"If I can't get to the sea spawn directly then maybe he will come to rescue his little love," Alecto sneered as she tried to kidnap you from your bed at three in the morning. The whole camp had been expecting another attack on Percy not you. You weren't even worried about an attack that might come for you. You were more worried with protecting Percy. 

At first you tried to fight the Fury, but she had you in a helpless position so even though your siblings were heavy sleepers you yelled for help. 

"HELP! I'M BEING KIDNAPPED!" you yelled at the top of your lungs.  Your siblings weren't awakened by the call, but Annabeth, Grover, and Percy were on patrol duty tonight and close to your cabin when you shouted. Alecto was momentarily stunned by your call which gave the trio enough time to reach where Alecto -who had started pulling you- and you were in between the cabins along the way to the border. 

"Grover and I will distract her while you come in from behind and get Julia out of Alecto's grasp," Annabeth planned. In the dark you could vaguely see both Percy and Grover nod.  The trio walked a few feet before splitting off. Percy going left and the other two going right. Annabeth had slipped on her invisibility cap. Grover had taken out his pipes and was playing a song that you didn't know the name of. Grover seemed happy with the results he was getting though, and you saw some of the grass trying to reach up and grab the Kindley One. 

"Hey, over here!" you heard Annabeth's voice from your right. 

"Come here little girl. I promise not to hurt you if you let me leave with my prey," the Fury said. 

Annabeth managed to get close enough to Alecto to hit her which made Alecto loosen her grip just a little on you. Percy quickly grabbed your hand before giving you a dagger that he had snagged from the armory on the way out of camp. 

He saw that you weren't prepared for the attack and assumed that you were sleeping so you wouldn't have a weapon on you. He knew you preferred to fight with a dagger, so he got one. After handing you the dagger Percy uncapped Riptide and charged at the Fury. You went to the left and charged at the same time Annabeth came from the front. 

Each of you took turns jabbing and slicing at the Kindley One. Each of you managed to avoid the claws a few times and get a few good hits in but no lethal ones. 

You got the last hit in just barely. You had to dodge the whip and the claws before piercing where Alecto's heart should be. Luckily the cut was deep enough, and Alecto burst into gold powder. Once the adrenaline wore off you looked around and realized that y'all had managed to get a few miles from the camp. 

It took you a few minutes to get to the camp and as soon as you entered the borders Annabeth noticed something different. 

"Hey why are you glowing?" Annabeth asked. 

"Hm. I'm not glowing," Percy said. 

"Yes, you are look. Julz is glowing too," Annabeth told Percy while pointing at you. 

You looked down and sure enough you were incased in a dark pink light. When you looked at Percy he was incased in the same dark pink light. You remembered your siblings telling you about this phenomenon. It rarely happens, but when it does it means that both people love each other equally and your mother is bonding them together. 

"I remember Silena telling me something about this. It only happens when both people love each other equally. It means that Aphrodite is bonding them together. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is always magical," you said. 

"You love me as much as I love you?" Percy asked. 

"Yes, Seaweed Brain. I wasn't very subtle most of the time," you replied.  

"She wasn't," Annabeth confirmed, "You were just a tad bit oblivious." 

"Oh," Percy said leaning in, "In that case, may I?" 

"Sure," you said leaning into him. As soon as you were close enough for your lips to touch you kissed. It was a magical moment. Water rose up from the ground and encircled both of you. As the water rose you rose. Finally, needing air you both separated, and the water let you down. 

"Hey, do you maybe want to spend the night at my place after that scare you had tonight?" Percy asked. 

"Sure," you replied. 

"Here take the hat because boys and girls aren't supposed to be in the same cabin alone unless they are siblings," Annabeth handed you her Yankees cap, trusting you to return it in the morning. 

"Thank you," you replied taking the cap and sliding it on before following Percy to his cabin. Before you reached the cabin you had slid your hand into Percy's. The night was magical and by the morning you and Percy were dating.

How did you like the story? It was my first attempt at a second POV. Here is the prompt I was given if you want it: Y/n is friends with Percy, Annabeth & Grover, she is also the daughter of Aphrodite.All her life before Percy arrived, she was told stories about a boy who was taken to the human world to keep safe & she loved those stories a lot & when she finally met Percy, from the first sight of him she felt her heartbeat more for him than any of the other boys at Camp Half-Blood.Being the daughter of Aphrodite every boy from Camp Half-Blood tried to get her attention but she ignored them because all she wanted to do was to help Percy keep the Camp safe as well as Percy from Hades.One Night Y/n found herself being taken away by Hades because Hades found out Percy & Y/n had feelings for each other & knew Percy would sacrifice himself for Y/n, but Percy & her friends heard her screaming for help, so Annabeth & Grover distracted Hades while Percy managed to save Y/n in time before Hades took her to the underworld.When they got back to Camp Half-Blood Grover & Annabeth suddenly noticed something magical happening between Y/n & Percy as a magical bonding was happening between them & it was Aphrodite bonding them together as Y/n told him this only happens if the other person loves them as much as she does to them making them confess their feelings for each other, everyone also noticed as soon as Y/n & Percy kissed water came up from the ground lifting Y/n & Percy off the ground while they kissed giving them the most magical first kiss they have ever had, once back on the ground Percy asked Y/n to spend the night at his place which she agreed leaving everyone walking away hand & hand feeling happy they have each other by their side all the time but now also as boyfriend & girlfriend.
