"Babeeeeeeeeee"

Tate whined for the fifth time in 2 hours, each time his voice gaining an octave each time he did.

"Tate what? I'm trying to study." (y/n) sighed, her hands raising up to rub her temples, Tate's whines giving her already painful headache fuel to grow into a full-blown migraine. Similar to the way wood fuels a fire.

"Baby you've been studying all week, I need some attention." Tate pouted, jutting out his bottom lip in an attempt to seen innocent, something anyone who knew him understood he was anything but that. "I know baby and I'm sorry but you know how important college is to me, and if I want any chance of getting a scholarship I need to study as much as I can." (y/n) sighed, setting her books aside as she saw the look on Tate's face. "Fine come here."

With a grin Tate crawled over to (y/n), laying down so his head was on her chest, his ear resting just over her heart. This was something he'd never tell anyone, how he loved it when (y/n) held him. To him it was weak, but he would never get over the sound of (Y/n)'s fragile heart was something like no other. And it brought him tremendous comfort.

"Are you okay?" (y/n) whispered as Tate nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, his breathing a bit heavy and fast, making (y/n) worried for him. "I'm okay baby, just- just happy to be here with you. I've missed your skin."

Tate smiled a bit, pressing his lips to the base of her neck in hopes of reassuring (y/n) that he was alright.

(Y/n) nodded, smiling a bit as she shifted to get more comfortable under Tate, moving her legs under the blankets, making Tate grin slyly "Sleepy babygirl?" he chuckled, pulling the blanket all the way up to cover (y/n) up.

"Maybe just a bit." She grinned sleepily, playing with Tate's hair as she closed her eyes, deciding that a quick nap wouldn't hurt anything.

Tate smiled, moving and shifting to he was on his back and (y/n) had her head on his chest, one hand behind his head and the other in (y/n)'s hair.

"Sleep babe, i will be here when you wake up."
