Lian's POV

We've been marching for days and my legs hurt. Everyone is feeling drowned. Except for Chi Fu, Li Shang and Honghui. Who have made the majority of the journey on horse back. On the bright side we should be reaching the town today.

Mulan and I walk beside the cart guiding our horses. Mushu and Crikee are riding with the cannons in the cart. "For a long time we've been marching off to battle" the men sing.

"In our thundering herd, we feel a lot like cattle" Yao sings.

"Like the pounding beat, our aching feet aren't easy to ignore" the men sing together. Ling rushes over to Yao and Chein-po. Who are by Mulan and I. Ling is looking happy about something.

"Hey! Think of instead, a girl worth fighting for" he tells them.

"Huh?" Mulan and I say confused.

"That's what I said! A girl worth fighting for" Ling tells us smiling. He pulls out a picture of a girl. Showing it to us. "I want her paler than the moon, with eyes that shine like stars" he sings.

"My girl will marvel at my strength, adore my battle scars" Yao sings.

"I couldn't care less what she'll wear, or what she looks like!It all depends on what she cooks like!Beef, pork, chicken, mmm" Chien-po hums. I think he'd get along well with my little sister Su. She loves gathering food from trees and he's always talking about food.

"Bet the local girls thought you were quite the charmer" Yao says to Mulan and I. As we wade through the water. I roll my eyes as Mulan looks uncomfortable. Yao trips and a few fish jump out. Chien-po catches one and smiles happily.

"And I bet the ladies love a man in armor" Ling sings showing of his small biceps. As we exit the water. We pass a group of girls picking plants from water beds. Mushu whistles and the girls giggle looking at Mulan & I. We both look away.

"You can guess what we have missed the mostSince we went off to war" the men sing.

"What do we want?" Ling asks the men.

"A girl worth fighting for" the men sing.

"My girl will think I have no flaws" Yao sings.

"That I'm a major find" Chien-po adds. He, Ling and Yao look at Mulan & I. Wanting us to join in.

"How about a girl whose got a brain" I suggest.

"Who always speaks her mind" Mulan adds sheepishly.

"Nah!" the three men say.

"My manly ways and turn of phrase and sure to thrill her!" Ling sings loudly.

"He thinks he's such a lady-killer" Yao says and slaps Khan's hind. Making him and Ebony gallop. Making Ling who had been leaning on the carriage to fall into the made. I chuckle as Mulan soothes the horses. I join her and sooth Ebony giving her a sugar cube.

"I've a girl back home who's unlike any other" Chi Fu sings putting up his hood.

"Yeah, the only girl who'd love him is his mother" I tell the others and they all chuckle as Chi Fu glares at me.

"Good one Haru" Yao says slapping me on the back.

"But when we come home, in victory.They'll line up at the door!" the men sing. A few including Yao had made girls out of snow.

"What do we want?" Ling asks as he rides on Chien-Po's shoulders.

"A girl worth fighting for!" the men declare. As they sling their arms other each other's shoulders. Mulan and I stuck in the middle.

"Wish that I had..." Ling starts.

"A girl worth fighting for!" the men finish. Mulan and I break free, we turn to go back to our horses. To see Chien-Po, Yao and Ling about to through snowballs at us."A girl worth fighting..." the men stop singing apparently. Chien-Po, Yao and Ling drop their snowballs looking horror struck.

Mulan and I turn around. We gasp at the scene in front of us, horrified. In front of us is the charred and burning remnants of a small village. Not just any village. But the one we were summoned to help protect by the general. We hear nothing, not even birds chirping.

"Shang?" Honghui asks.

"Search for survivors!" Shang orders. He, Chi Fu and Honghui dismount their horses. Mulan and I put planks on each side of the wheels to keep them from moving. Before we helped join the others in the search for survivors.

We find a little girl's doll. "I don't understand Shang" Honghui says.

"Me neither, my father should of been here" Shang states. Suddenly Chi-Fu calls them over to the top of a hill. We all head over.
