Super Secret Woman Army P1
"It is imperative that you do not tell anybody, Fa Mulan. Not your family, not any of my council, not even General Li. You and I are the only people outside of the 75 women who know. I want to keep it that way," Wei said. Mulan nodded. "Absolutely,"
*Set after Mulan. For the time being, Mulan II did not happen. Mulan is called to the emperor who confides in her about a potential attack from the Turks. He makes her run an all-female army*
Mulan tightened her waist ribbon and jogged up the stairs of the palace. "Woah, where do you think you are going?" A voice stopped her. "I've been requested by the emperor, as an urgent matter," She stated. The guard eyed her with a slight sneer. "Name?" He asked. "Mulan. Fa Mulan," She answered. The guard scoffed quietly but ushered her in.
She walked quickly to emperor Wei's chamber, where he would be waiting. She knocked on the doors and waited for an answer. "Come in," He called. She pushed the doors open. She bowed. "Your highness," She waited. "Rise, Fa Mulan. You needn't bow to me," Wei said. His voice carried so much authority, she felt she would be breaking the law if she did bow to him. "You wished to see me, your highness?" She bundled up her skirt a little, allowing her to walk up some more stairs. "Yes," He smiled. "Come, sit. I'll have some tea poured,"

"So... you want me to run a women's army?" Mulan asked in confusion. Wei grimaced. "Yes... I fear an attack is going to be coming from the Turks. You, my dear, are a powerful asset to our side. Your brain thinks differently, is wired differently, from a man. That... is what will tip the scale," Wei sipped some tea. "But... nobody will come forward to help," She stated sadly. Despite the news reaching her little village quite quickly, there were still many people who didn't like her. "Do not fret, young one. I have already drafted up conscriptions to 75 families, much like yours,"
Mulan frowned. "Mine?" She asked. Wei smiled gently. "Yes. All able-bodied men will be called off to train under General Li. I have drafted notices to families with either 1 daughter, or a daughter and son, of similar ages. This is a confidential task, Fa Mulan. Nobody can know, nor suspect anything. The women will come regardless, do not worry." He explained. Mulan hummed. "But where would I train them? Wu Zhong will be used by Shang, will it not?" She asked. Wei nodded. "Yes, which is why you will be in Bao Shua, 7 miles north of Wu Zhong. You will be close enough to assist if needs be, but far enough away for people to not suspect."
Mulan nodded with a smile. "I'd be honoured to do so," She beamed. "It is imperative that you do not tell anybody, Fa Mulan. Not your family, not any of my council, not even General Li. You and I are the only people outside of the 75 women who know. I want to keep it that way," Wei said. Mulan nodded. "Absolutely," Wei smiled. "You may go and begin preparations. They will be at Bao Shau in 2 weeks or less. I have left a map on the back of each notice. Good luck, Fa Mulan," Mulan bowed and grabbed a fist of her violet skirt as she descended down the stairs again. "Oh, Fa Mulan?" Wei called. Mulan turned around. "This task brings a few bonuses as well," She frowned. "Such as an allowance for weapon purchases, tents and the suchlike," Hardly a bonus... She thought to herself. Mulan bowed anyway. "Oh, and the position of General,"
Mulan blinked. "I'm sorry?" She asked. Wei chuckled. "Do you really think you wouldn't get an advancement in the military? Your quick thinking and willingness to face the death penalty to protect your father, China and myself saved everyone. I hope you enjoy your new ranking,"
She practically skipped out of the palace.
