Grace girns at her friend as he drives, they had decided to drive up to the nearby beach for the day.
He had been acting strange recently, so grace though it might be a good idea to get him out of his house for a bit.
She had been trying to get him to smile since they left but to no avail.
She slumps back into the seat with a huff.
"Would It kill you to smile?" She pouts.
He glances at her then back to the road. they are approaching the peir, it's old and it's rickety but grace had only ever had fond memories of jumping off into the water as children.
Finally as they approach grace spots ben smile. She grins at him and lightly punch his shoulder in a friendly way.
"There you go there's that smile," she says. Only as soon as grace says this the smile turns into a smirk and ben presses the gas pedal down.
The car lurches at the sudden exhilaration then speeds down the road heading straight for the peir.
"Ben what are your doing... Ben stop... slow down...Ben... Ben? BEN!" grace says starting as a nervous chatter and going to full on frantic screams.
"BEN STOP IT...SLOW DOWN YOUR GOING TO KILL US! PLEASE BEN... PLEASE!" Grace screeches.
Ignoring her pleas the car zooms down the peir and launches off the end splashing harshly into the water.
Grace reacts fast using the head rest to smash the window on her side. She takes a deep breath as the water quickly replaces the air and without looking at her friend she swims out of the car. She starts to swim up to the surface but just as she is about reach it she is grabbed and dragged down. She looks down to she ben holding her ankle and grinning up at her. Her lungs burn at the lack of air and grace knows she is reaching her limit. If ben does not let her go then she will drown. She tries to kick him off frantically but to no avail.
She breaths in a huge mouthful of water, her lungs burning at the sensation of being full of liquid instead of air, as black spots fill her vision and her struggling ceases be'n let's her go his appearance changing. His blue eyes become black with red iris and pupils his attire changes to that of a green tunic much like links from legend of Zelda and as he grins and laughs tears of blood seem to stain the water around him.
"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" He says with a glitchy voice. With her last conscious thought grace reaches out for him. Then everything fades to black

OK so I wrote this based of a really strange (and rather vivid) dream I had and I've changed it slightly to be ben so sorry if it's shit this was the only thing I could think to do to get it off of my mind as it was sort of bugging me.
