Esme's POV

It's been a week and half since I moved into Grimmauld place. I've meet most of the Order of the Phoenix. Though only Sirius stays full time along with a house elf called Kreacher. I'm not allowed to tell anyone where I am or what I am doing. It makes it very hard to write to friends. Especially George, I miss him a lot. I'm not allowed to tell Harry anything about what's happening in the Magical World. Not even about how the prophet is starting to bash him and Dumbledore. Saying they are crazy.

Anyway, apparently Voldemort maybe after me. I don't understand why I'd be more important then any of muggleborn. Yes, I am descended from royalty, but I am not some princess or future queen. I've only heard from mum once, she is safe along with Diana. That's all I've heard. I haven't been allowed out of this house since I arrived, Sirius isn't allowed out either.

I miss Minette, she is with mum and Diana. Yes, I have Odette. But I long for something to hold and cuddle with in bed. Especially with Voldemort back and George not here. I sigh as I sit in the kitchen pushing my wand around on the table bored. I've finished all my homework for the summer and with being stuck in doors, there is nothing to do.

I hear the door creak behind me, but ignore it. Probably just Sirius back from feeding Buckbeak. Suddenly my eyes are covered. "Guess who" someone whispers in my ear. I squeal and turn around hugging George tightly. Kissing him.

"Get a room you two!" Fred hollers. I pull away from George to see his whole family here. Minus Percy and Hermione is here too.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask them.

"We're moving in" Fred and George state.

"Not permanently, but we will be staying for the reminder of the summer" Mrs Weasley states. "It's nice to see you again dear" she tells me. Pulling me into one of her famous hugs. "I hope you don't mind, but you will be bunking with Hermione and Ginny" she states.

"Fine with me" I state as Sirius appears. "How come you didn't tell me we'd have new house mates?" I ask him.

"Wanted it to be a surprise" he states with a shrug. "I've added two extra beds to your room. It'll be a little crowded" he tells me.

"We'll manage" Ginny assures him.

"How has your summer been?" Hermione asks me.

"Boring, I've done all my homework and now have nothing to do. I'm not even allowed outside" I state.

"Why?" Ron and George asks.

"Lets just say it's not safe for her to be outside" Mr Weasley tells them.

"Don't worry, you won't be bored now. We're gonna start cleaning this house top to bottom. To make is live-able again" Mrs Weasley tells me. Cleaning, great. I'd rather be bored.

"Guess what, Esme?" George asks me.

"What?" I ask him with a smile.

"Fred and I past our apparition tests" he states.

"And you're now of age" I add. "That's awesome" I tell him. "Congrats, George. Fred" I say.

"Esme I have to show Molly, Arthur and the boys to their rooms. Mind showing Ginny and Hermione to yours?" Sirius asks me.

"Sure" I tell him. "Is there a meeting tonight?" I ask him.

"Yes, which means you and the others will be staying upstairs" he tells me. I nod my head. I lead Hermione ad Ginny to our room. Sirius is right it will be a bit crowded.

"That's mine" I tell them pointing to the bed in the back corner. "You can pick which one you want" I add. Hermione picked the one closest to the door. Ginny picks the one opposite me. "So how have your summers been?" I ask them.

"Percy and dad had a big fight, I doubt Percy will be coming back" Ginny tells me sadly.

"What happened?" I ask her.

"He got promoted to Fudge's assistant, dad thinks Fudge was gonna use Percy to spy on us and in turn Dumbledore. Percy thought dad would be proud, when he wasn't. They got into a massive fight, it doesn't help that Percy believes the prophet and thinks the ministry can do no wrong" Ginny tells me.

"I'm sorry you lost him as a brother, I know it must of been hard" I state.

"It was, but we were never really close" she tells me. "I hope once the ministry realizes you know who is back. That things might go back to normal, but Percy and dad are both very stubborn" she states.

"I hope you've had a better summer then us Hermione" I say.

"Pretty dull really, I've written to Viktor and he is having a nice summer with his family. While training for the next quidditch season" she states.

"You two dating yet?" Ginny asks teasingly.

"No, we're just friends" Hermione states with a blush.

"Then why are you blushing?" I ask her.

"We may have kissed, but we're strictly friends now" she states.

"Great you and Esme have both kissed someone and I haven't" Ginny says with a pout.

"I'm sure you'll find someone" I tell her.

"I might have actually, do you know Micheal Corner?" she asks us.

"Ravenclaw, in our year" Hermione states.

"Well we meet at the yule ball and have been talking since" she states.

"Just don't race into anything" I tell her and she nods her head. "Don't worry about your brothers, Hermione and I will keep them off your back" I assure her. She smiles.

"I'll cover for you and George, if you two want some alone time" she tells me. "Think you two can help me with my homework?" she asks. Hermione and I agree. So we spend the next hour helping her until being called down to lunch. I sit besides George who holds my hand under the table as we eat. I smile, I think I'm gonna like having new house mates. Even if I do have to clean the house. I wonder when Harry will get here?
