Ella's jaw and heart dropped. She looked over at her friends who gestured to go follow the other champions.

Ella slowly stood up and walked to the door that the other champions went through.

She arrived in the room walking over to Layla who was talking very fast French to Fleur.

Layla spotted her and waved.

The door opened again and the chosen one appeared.

"Do zey need us to come back in to ze great hall now?" Fleur asked in a very thick French accent.

"Uhh." Harry looked confused and scared.

Ella noticed "Harry you didn't.. you didn't get /chosen/ did you?"

Dumbledore burst In Mcgonnagal and Snape following.

Dumbledore walked over to Harry very aggressively "HARRY DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?" He asked.

Harry shook his head "I didn't."

Ella sighed quietly "Always him." She mumbled

"I agree." Cedric mumbled back.

Ella looked at him surprised he was talking to her.

"I'm Cedric. Cedric Diggory. I haven't seen you around classes."

"Oh I uhh. Dumbledore took my out of classes."

Cedric looked curious and confused but quickly masked it and didn't press the subject.

Ella stood in the tent with the other champions hearing the pounding of footsteps through the walls of the tent.

Ella's heart was pounding in fear. Luckily her and Cedric were on a team together.

Cedric nodded at her but he looked as sickly green as Ella felt.

"And team Beaxbatons goes first." Bagman said leading them out.

Ella started pacing shaking slightly.

Cedric did the same.

Sebastian and Viktor stayed in their chairs but looking equally scared.

Harry looked like he was about to faint.

"Next Durmstrang!" Bagman called.

Viktor and Sebastian left.

After they were done, "Hogwarts!"

Ella and Cedric walked out to a cheering crowd.

There was a tied up dragon in the center guarding a clutch of eggs.

There was a single gold one that they had to get.

Ella took a deep breath. "I'm going to try to convince her that's not her egg."

"Ella it's a /dragon/!" Cedric exclaimed before turning a rock into a puppy and running for the egg.

Ella blinked but didn't follow him.

The dragon spotted Ella and growled.

"I mean no harm!" Ella said loudly and clearly thought not aggressively.

The whole stadium went quiet.

"I am just here to tell you that that egg-" she pointed at the golden one. "Is not yours. If you will allow it we would like to take it back to its original owner."

The dragon paused for a very long moment before nodding slightly.

Ella smiled and ran over taking the egg and handing it to Cedric.

"How did you do that?" He asked

"You mean my amazing persuasion skills?" Ella laughed "I have no idea."
