A valid question. The Busted Gulch Gang wanted to test their metal at writing a collaborative story in prose. And so we will be doing things a little bit differently. Unlike the poetic version of the Wild, Wild West you have been reading you now need to tune in your radios to the Big City of Busted Gulch which is ravaged by crime due to the prohibition of Muffins. 

When the stock market crashed in 1929. The people of Busted Gulch have become even more desperate and muffins have become even more valuable as many try to resurrect the old form of trade from over a 100 years ago. Having so many uses from culinary delight to weapons outright. Muffins are believed to be the single handed cause for the degradation and demoralization of American's everywhere. And so are prohibited across the U.S. 

Now an infamous Mob Boss Shamus McGinty of the Irish Gang of Oh Aces has shown up dead in  the big city of Busted Gulch. The body found in the Muffin District. The cause of death is unknown and the suspect list is a mile long. One man has stepped up to take on the task of getting to the bottom of this mystery. 

Federal Agent Lorne Order has been requested to solve this case. 

Will the crime be solved so they may all be returned to their own time? We can't tell. Instead,  come sit a spell and read, Muffins of Remorse, a Busted Gulch spin off. Miss Caroline Grace (CG)- At one time...Heiress and Owner of the "Baker's Tin" the largest legal/licensed manufactures and exporters of Muffins in BG City. She has recently bought the dying newspaper "The Golden Pillar Times" and has decided to revamp it in spite of being informed it was a bad deal. She is spoilt, stubborn and wants everything her way.

Ron West and Claire West - Ron West (12 year old) and Claire West (8 year old) are the Nephew and Niece of Caroline Grace. Their alcoholic father passed away in an accident and their mother unable to support them left them in CG's care. They are completely devoted to her and think of her as their mother. 

Moose- Is an overprotective boxer (dog). He goes everywhere that his owner goes.

AJ - I'm JinLi. That's AJ to you. The original "Do-All Jin" of BG City. I'm exactly as it says, an all around guy. After being discharged from the Chinese Labour Corps, I went to try my luck in America. I've worked all sorts of jobs since then.

I'm also AJ's cornergirl on fight nights and bet collector at Madame Yu's of the NoLuk Tong. I've got AJ's back, just as AJ's got mine.

Ross "Buck" Buchanan: Worked with his brother Bruce to form a magic/vaudeville act called "Vodka-ville" that performed at speakeasies. Buck found out about Bruce's dishonesty and broke up the act. Now he sings and plays the piano in any speakeasy that will take him. Is a little socially awkward; has a tendency to make musical puns.

Bruce Buchanan: Founded and managed the act "Vodka-ville." While Buck performed, Bruce went through the crowd and picked people's pockets. Bruce has worked with the Irish mafia on and off, but is currently out of favor with Shamus McGinty. Smooth-talking and flirtatious but is never serious about a relationship.

Annie O'Cappella: Irish songwriter and storyteller who hangs out at several speakeasies to pick up the latest tunes and inspiration for her stories. This unobtrusive woman writes short romance stories and publishes them wherever she can get a foot in the door. She hopes one day to find herself in a real-life romance, preferably with a cliché tall, dark-haired stranger who doesn't disappear like all the mafia men she's been involved with previously.
