Seto's pov

Brice gripped my arms and bolted towards the exit. Ty and Adam had run off to find whoever Merome was while we left.
Eventually we got out and landed ourselves at a nice treehouse near the palace.brice went ahead and climbed up the ladder to the balcony area of it. I stayed at the bottom watching.
"You coming up?" He asked wonderingly.
Hesitantly I nodded and climbed up to stand beside him.
A few minutes later Adam and Ty were with us along with two other boys.
Mr.checkers And fur coats McGee.

"Yo Brice? Ain't that the kid that ran into you today?" Mr.checkers asked.

Brice nodded, a huge grin playing at his lips.
"Yeah! This is Seto! Right?" He turned to me.
Quickly I nodded my head .
"Yeah I was right! Bytheway Seto, that Mitch and Jerome down there."
Brice said with a chuckle as everyone eventually climbed up to the balcony platform.
"So, where are you from Seto?" Adam asks. "I've never seen you around here before."

I froze up a bit before answering, this was the prince.
"I just moved here." I stuttered slightly. "My mom and I just moved a few months ago."

Everyone nodded. It wasn't a total lie.
"Nice! Where did you move from?" Mitch asks. Curious these people are.

"I uh, moved from the, the Nether empire..." I mumbled, trailing off the last part.

Sky stood a bit abruptly and backed up. Everyone else scorched back a bit accept Brice and Ty.
"Uh, that sounds nice?" Ty says shuffling uncomfortably. Sky obviously thought literally.
"He's from the greatest enemy our kingdom has ever faced! Have your parents been doing there jobs at all?!?!" Sky screams, Jerome and Mitch stood angrily.

"Hey! Our parents are doing GREaT at their jobs!" They scream inn unison.
The  three argued until I cut them both off.
"Stop fighting!" Everyone turned to me with mouths agape in awe.
I gulped.
"I'm sorry." I sat down again and stayed silent. Sky went and. Sat again as well as Mitch and Jerome.
" hey, it's fine! We shouldn't be arguing anyways..." Sky says quickly. I snap back.
"No it's not fine! I'm not supposed to give orders!" I had my hands on my head as if to block sound out.
"You all a higher power than  me therefore I'm not aloud to talk back, interrupt you, or disobey any orders! It's the rules!"
After realizing what I had just said I stopped and looked up at everyone's confused, enraged, and worried faces.
I touched my hand to my face to feel the warm tears on my pale skin, was I crying?
"I-i uh..." I started backing up towards the latter down to the earth. "I apologize..." I stutter before turning, ready to climb down before a strong grip is clamped shut around my wrist.
It spun me around to come face to face with Brice.
"What rules are you talking about Seto? Stop apologizing and explain to we can help." I shake my head 'no' and attempt to escape again to no avail.
Brice tugged me to face the ground till I was sitting on my knees like the others. He sat down beside me, not letting me go. Like the cuffs I was kept in at the work fields.
"Explain." Was Brices blunt command. I didn't answer just cotinued to struggle til something happened that I forgot I could do.

I teleported,
Out of Brices grip to the side of th balcony.
Everyone was astonished, some amazed, worried, confused.
"Rule 8: no magic and rule 3 no disobeying. Two broken rules, penalty 6." I mumble before teleporting to the ground and running into the nearby woods. Screams from the others calling for me but I wouldn't answer.
Once I thought they wouldn't find my I sat against the tree and cried.
Summoning lightning elemental magic I wrapped it around my neck and waiting 10 seconds until the element had made a noticeable burn mark in its place.
"Punishment fulfilled, oh what am I doing..." I  started crying again, my head in my knees face covered by my callused hands.
"Dad didn't sacrifice what he did for nothing. I bet I'm the biggest disappointment ever. Can't care for my mother much less myself, then I skip one of the most important days of my life to go hang around some kids that obviously aren't in my social class much less people wanting to actually befriend me." I sniffles a laugh.

Burying myself further into my pants.
"I'd kill myself if my mother didn't need me so much..."
