The world we live in is just like a big tree. A bunch of leaves hang at every branch and all such branches make the big tree. Some branches are full of leaves while some hold just a couple of them. Though, all the branches have one thing in common. They all meet each other at the roots. Yes, all the branches know each other by their roots. And yet, every leaf hanging on them is a stranger to the other.

Mu was lucky enough to belong to a lush green branch. The moment she sprouted, she had a big bunch of strangers ready to take her in. Everyone was eager to befriend the new entrant. Everyone wanted to colour her in their own shade of green. Everyday they watered her with expectations. Everyday they wished for her to turn green tomorrow. But for Mu, that tomorrow never came. Because luck alone never does the trick, does it? Mu just wasn't ready! Too much water made her wilt. She suffocated under the weight of expectations. And when it became too much to bear, she let go.

Mo, on the other hand, found himself on the wrong side of luck. He had soaked in all the necessary fertilizers. He was ready to turn into that perfect shade of green. And he would have too, only if he hadn't sprouted on a barren branch. There was no one out there to water his eager soul. Mo kept hanging though. He was ready to wait for someone to finally appreciate his abilities. It was perfectly OK if there was no one by his side today. He always felt that his life will change tomorrow. But for Mo, that tomorrow never came. Eventually, all his desires dried up. And when it became too much to bear, he let go.

Mu and Mo, two tender leaves who had seen different sides of the world, were both down on the ground. Two strangers ready to get crumpled. Two strangers ready to embrace the end.
