YOONA

"Are you sure about this, Yoona? I'm really serious about not taking it easy."

"Of course, Kris. Bring out your best."

Kris flinched at the way I just smirked at him and rolled his eyes, getting ready to aim. I waited excitedly.

Today is another day of training, specifically a month ever since the announcement of a war coming up. Looking at the logical side, we still have no idea where this would take place but nevertheless, we will be ready for it.

And Kris, my friend, is my first training partner for this day.

"I'm not going easy on you." He exclaimed once again as he suddenly blasted out a dangerous swirling ball of air towards my direction, almost catching me off guard.

Because of my quick reflexes, I was able to dodge it and made him taste his own medicine. The ball hit his body and he groaned in pain. I grinned.

I then fired lots and lots of icicles as I run towards him. He dodged every one of it and swiftly changed places in order to prevent himself from getting hit by me. As he did, he blasted out a gust of strong wind, pushing me backwards, together with my icicles. It was his turn to grin.

The both of us charged towards each other at the same time, casting out powers and spells. Him being so hard to me and me just playing along. We did just that for the next two hours.

"Wait! Break! Please!" Kris said in between breaths and made an X with his arms, just before I could throw a fireball to his direction. I quickly deflated the ball and showed him a V sign. He scoffed breathlessly.

"You're able to control your powers better than last time. Nice upgrade there, Yoona." He complimented, and gave me a thumbs up. A smile formed on my face and I felt like I just achieved a high grade on some school paper.

"Its all thanks to you and to everyone. All of you helped me this past month. How can I not develop myself when you guys are always by my side?" I cooed, which made him chuckle.

"Seriously, I am not used to you being so gushy and all. You learned that from Earth?" I laughed at his sudden question. Kris raised his eyebrow, amused. I just gave him a smile, not giving him an answer.

Two familiar faces suddenly appeared inside my head, making my smile break a little. I quickly look at the other direction so Kris wouldn't notice. I sighed.

Sana. Tzuyu. How are you two back on Earth? Probably gossiping about some handsome 9-member or 7-member boy group.

"Kris!! Seriously put  me down!" My head snapped towards my right and saw Kris spinning Jessica around who came out of nowhere. Kris laughed as Jessica kept on hitting his shoulder to stop.

"Well, those two are having fun." A new voice chimed in and stood by my left, looking at the said couple in front of us. "They're so gross, they probably can eat each other by now."

"Unnie, why so bitter? They're having their own world so don't mind them." I exclaimed and placed my elbow on her right shoulder. Taeyeon unnie just rolled her eyes on me.

"That's not what I came here for. I'm not even supposed to be here, what the actual—"

"Don't you dare curse for the sake of human nature." Another voice joined us, and abruptly placed his long arm around Taeyeon unnie's shoulders, making my own arm be swatted harshly away. "Besides, that mouth of yours is only meant for beautiful things so stay that way."

"F*ck off Hyun. You're not the boss of me." Taeyeon unnie then threw Baekhyun's arm away, and stormed off, leaving a ray of tension, like, literally. I stared at her walking back, feeling nervous for a minute.

"I think she froze my arm." I got back from my nervous trance and looked at Baekhyun, his arm stayed afloat in the air. I broke a smile, and he groaned when he saw it.

"She probably cooled the air that's flowing around your arm. I can see your fingers flinching."

"That's all you got to say after an incident like this?! You, future princess of some prophecy, have really learned a lot of bad stuff on Earth!" And he pointed at me like a criminal. I just gave him a bewildered look.

Again, a lot happened this past month.

Taeyeon unnie ans Baekhyun followed us back here, due to some conflict they had back at the academy. I don't know what the conflict was all about but it involves Princess Hera, and they probably came to a decision to legit get here because of that.

"Anyways, I'm here to tell you Luhan's been looking for you. He freaking ordered me to find you. He's lucky I'm in a good mood, or else I would've blinded him by now." Baekhyun exclaimed, making me look at him surprised.

And surprise! I could feel a smile form on my face, what the hell.

"Where is he?" I asked and he just turned his head towards the building beside us.

"He's at the garden behind the building. Go, get him before I blind him for real." And without another word said, I skipped my way towards the garden, leaving a suffering Baekhyun and flirting couple behind.

"There you are! Baekhyun finally did something for a change." Was what Luhan exclaimed as soon as he saw me opening the mini gate of the garden's entrance. I crossed my arms and raised him an eyebrow.

"What's so important that you ordered Baekhyun to do such thing? You have the legendary thing called legs, you know?" I asked him, which made him chuckle. I scoffed in return.

"Nothing. Just wanted to have a little fun, once in a while." He answered while gazing at the flowers beside him. My jaw dropped at what he just said. What the — He's grown nuts.

"I know, I'm nuts. No need to mention it." He said, confusing me a bit but then realized I probably said the words inside my head.

"Seriously, why the garden out of all places? We're already surrounded by whole lot of trees. The plants are just small figures of them, minus some flowers." I asked him, yet again.

"They just remind me of the academy's garden. You know, where you used to work as a gardener there." He answered, his face showing smile as he seemed to be reminiscing those times. I heaved out a sigh.

"This garden's huge than the one in the academy. But yeah, it does remind me of the garden." I told him as I trudged my feet towards him.

"Now let's go direct to the point. Why did you bring me here?" I asked the question I've been dying to know the answer. Like, I have more stuff to tend to than going in the castle's garden.

I was taken a back when Luhan suddenly took my hand and pulled me towards the center of this garden. No sound was made between the two of us not until we reached the area. He stopped in his track and I had to go to his side to see what he was staring at, but failed.

"Why did you stop? And hey, you didn't answer me yet!" I exclaimed, using my other hand in hitting his back. He let out a soft chuckle and swiftly took hold of my other hand. Now, both my hands are intertwined with his.

I could feel a tinge of blush coming to my cheeks at the realization. I coughed out a little so he wouldn't notice.

"Wait a minute silly. I just want to show you something." He let go of my hands and turned around to pick something up. When he faced me again, I beamed a little at the familiar plant in his hands.

"This is your favorite flower right?" He asked, smiling as if he was glad I made a reaction to the sudden appearance of the flower.

"Of course, it is. But what's up with the white carnation as my favorite flower?" I told him, not letting go of my curiosity since I arrived here.

He then took both my hands and placed the pot on it. He sighed and looked at me in the eye.

"These flowers mean good luck and purity right?" He asked, waiting for my approval. I nod, chuckled a hit at how cute he was while waiting for me to answer him.

"So, uhm, aish. You're not a great help Kris." I heard Luhan mutter, which made my curiosity go even higher. He placed his hand on his nape while avoiding my gaze for a few seconds.

"Hey, hey, stop blaming Kris for whatever reason." I laughed as I tried to calm his nervous state. Seriously, I've never seen him like this before.

And I'm an idiot for thinking that he's just so adorable.

"Okay, I'll be serious — I'm serious!" He exclaimed. He took both my hands in his, the pot clutched in between, and he had a determined look in his eyes.

"Look, I know that in the next few hours or minutes, we don't really know, a war might be coming and the both of us should be out in the courtyard, training and all in that. But Yoona," He closed his eyes and breathed heavily. I patiently wait what he was about to say.

"I'm going to make your favorite flower a witness for this important event between us. I'll go out of the shadows and not act like a coward anymore." He opened his eyes and looked at mine, making me feel all different kinds of things. I couldn't help but admire the beauty in front of me.

"Yoona, for four years we've spent, looking for you all around South Korea, despite knowing the dangers that would happen. A lot did happen and I know you're aware. But never once, did I let go of the real reason as to why we were there in the first place. And you don't know how damn happy I was when I found you in that convenient store, only to find out your memories were washed out. Everyone of us were surprised to find out, but that did not stop us from getting you. And look, we have made it this far. In your cousin's kingdom, preparing for a war to fulfill a prophecy."

"Yoona, remember that one time when we coincidentally met in the academy's garden during dawn?"

I stayed silent and tried to rummage my shelf of memories to remember what he meant.

"Prince Luhan of Song Kingdom. Once, I was the guy who liked you. Now, I'm a man who wants you."

A blush crept on my cheeks. I had to cough so he wouldn't notice, but he laughed at my small action.

"Y-Yeah, why?"

"I meant those words. And I'm not going to hide around the bushes anymore."

I yelped in surprise when he tightened his hold on our hands. His actions right now is making me think of all kinds of possible stuff and I'm not the type to assume but gosh, this guy is making my heart beat in a pace I can't reach.

"Yoona, I love you. Don't you feel the same too?"

And there goes the butterflies inside my body.

Silence enveloped the entire area as the both of us continue to stare at each other. My heart can't stop beating like wild, I wonder if he could hear it too. I looked down at our intertwined hands, back to his eyes, then to the ground, letting my hair fall down to cover my face.

I panicked a bit when I felt his hold on my hands loosen on mine.

"Its okay if you don't want to answer. I respect your decision." Luhan said in tone that I can't explain but I'm sure I could sense that he was expecting something from me.

I panicked. My hands went rigid cold as I stop his from removing mine. I quickly leaned towards his direction and did something I've never done in my whole entire life.

I kissed him.

These past few days were a struggle for me and also for each and everyone of us.

Extra note, since Christmas vacation started already, I might be updating often. But not gonna promise you that it will be that often.
