(Y/N P.O.V)

I was in a airship with Winston and Tracer. We were on are way to overwatch HQ. we were about an hour away I think. I have my hood on and am sitting down just thinking. 'Why me? Why do they want me?' Before I can continue that thought I see Tracer walking over. "Can I help you with something Tracer."

Tracer:"No I was just wondering, why were you so hesitant to join overwatch, luv?"

You:"Well I already told you I like being a solo act."

Tracer gives me a 'really' look. "That has to be lonely."

You:"True but less people endanger no one needs to get hurt because of me, and I only have to listen to my own rules."

Tracer seemed to look a little sad after I sad that. Before I could ask why the pilot announced we are about to land, I guess we were closer than I thought.
I got up and started walking to the door. Once we landed and the door opened I stepped out. I took in the sight and I have to say it was cool. I may have worked with Winston but that was at the old base and that thing is just rubble now sooo...yeah. I then here Winston speak. "Well let's get to the meeting room, got to introduce you and see if they agree to let you in after all."

I nodded a let them lead the way. Once the three of use got close I heard commotion. "What's that noise?"

Winston:"oh, I forgot to mention that I told everyone you were coming."

I look at him with a look that said 'really'. He just laughed and moved on, I simply smirked at him. As soon as I enter I see a big group of people sitting around a table. I look at all of them and say "hey."

I already know there names so no problem there, I then hear Winston talk. "This is (y/n) who I think should be a new member of overwatch, let's take a vote, but first (y/n) could you answer some of there questions?"

You:"sure."

D.Va:"What are your powers/skills/or abilities?"

You:"Well I don't have too much skill wise normally but my power is that any music I listen to, provided that it can, gives me strength."

D.Va:"Yes, another musical hero!!!"

Soldier76:"Have you ever been in a fight?"

You:"Yes, quite recently I was in one actually, and some before that."

Genji:"Do you mind giving a demonstration?"

You:"Sure but could I get a sparring partner?"

Reinhardt:"I will help with that, but I won't go easy on you haha."

You:"haha neither will I."

We both look at each other getting up and moving to a open area then getting into a sparing stance. I, without looking, pick a song and press play.

You two start to spar immediately. Reinhardt is about to attack but I beat him to it and start to punch at him, this forces him to put up his shield. I am punching away at him, this would normally do zip to his shield but with the power of the music I am playing it is doing a lot and soon his shield breaks, that catches him off guard since his shield can take bullets and grenades but not my fists. After that I punch him in the stomach, which is armored but he still felt it because of the power, that causes him to fall backwards. Once he's on his back I turn the music off and offer my hand. "How's the weather down there *chuckles*."

Reinhardt:"Not bad but I have felt better, haha."

We share a good laugh as I help him up, which is hard in that suit of his, then we make our way back to the others. I notice a lot of shocked expressions. I laugh a bit since I expected that. "So what did ya think."

Most:"That was awesome/impressive/cool/not bad."

Except for I think just soldier76 who grunted. They then asked how I got my powers. I look to see them all starring in curiosity. "Well you gonna tell us?"

I sigh "ffiiinnee, I was a engineer before this happened to me, I was working on teleporting food and other supplies threw a portal as a way of getting relief supplies to a country in need, along with my colleagues. We didn't try it with anything living, but we did manage to get it to work, on the last few days of testing we decided to work on two other projects since we needed to leave the portal on for more tests, the first one was a bio organic metal that combined and attached itself to the bones of living things to make them more resistant it was still in testing since up until then it would attach to the organs as well, the second one was a machine that focused on mussel memory and the emotional center of the brain we were testing what the machine would do if it was active and attached to someone listening to music. I decided to be the test subject, so when I put it on I started to listen to (fav song) and it started to react, but I had to stop because the portal was heating up to dangerously high levels. In my rush I forgot to take off the machine and when I got to the portal I started the shutdown sequence but heard a explosion from out side, so I did the shutdown manually to speed up the process. I was on the second to last step on the shutdown which was shrinking the area of influence it had, we only gave it a maximum of about a Mile. I was only able to shrink it to the room across from the one I was in sadly that was also the room with the bio organic metal, which we kept in a vat since there was so much. I would have shrunk the portal more but a explosion happened that destroyed the building, but just before the fire hit me the portal exploded from over heating. I was sucked into the portal and dumped off at it's last farthest location, the vat of bio organic metal. I thought I was doomed, but after I fell in I passed out from the heat and shock. I woke up about an hour later in a crater. I knew that everyone thought I was dead, I also knew that my colleagues were dead after that explosion, so I set off and made a new life after that since there was nothing left of my old one, heck even my hair changed color and some of my other aspects like a bit of my face and my bones. But yeah that's my story."

Everyone was paying close attention by the end, even 76. They then discussed it and took a vote. It was a unanimous decision that I could join, and I accepted. After that everyone started to welcome me to overwatch. Winston then spoke "Well (y/n) we must give you the tour and since you seem already aquatinted with Tracer she can show you around."

Tracer then stepped forward "ready to go luv?"

You:"Sure, lead the way."

Tracer then showed you all around. She showed you the labs, training room, kitchen, mess hall, the lounge, monitor room, central hub, outdoor training area(witch was practically the entire out side), then finally your room. "And this is your room luv."

You:"Thank you Tracer."

Tracer:"No problem luv, and you can just call me Lena."

You:"ok Lena."

I then lean in and whispered "cute name, it suits you."

I pull back and smile seeing her blush. I walk into my room and turn just as I am closing the door. "Good night."

I then walk away from the door hearing her say "G-Good n-night."

I then start to get unpacked in my new room. I didn't bring much but put some essentials like cloths and toiletries away. I then prepared for bed, thinking what tomorrow would bring and smiled.
