Sky's POV

"Baby, wake up! Why are you so sleepy today? It's time for you to leave." Eco keeps calling me which wakes me up.

I open my eyes and sit up as I glare at him. He giggles out with happy eyes and hugs me.

"Good morning, baby." He greets, I hug him back with a hum, "you're going to be late today."

"I'm not going today." I deadpan and he pulls away from the hug.

"What? Why?" He asks confused, his brows furrowed.

"No specific reason. Since I was so busy with the project the whole month and missed being with you, I decided to stay home for a week or so as the project is now done." I shrug off and get down the bed.

"Really? That's great, baby. I'm so happy that you chose to stay at home for me." He hugs me from back.

"I'm happy too." I smile though he can't see, "I'll get washed up and be back."

He nods and let go of the hug. I go the bathroom, brush my teeth and take a shower before coming out. Eco is not in the room. I get dressed and walk downstairs. Everyone is already at the table and River is feeding his baby while the others are just talking and waiting for me. As I approach the table, everyone gives me surprised looks.

"What's wrong with you all? Why are you looking at me like that?" I query and take my seat next to Eco, he smiles at me.

"It's surprising that you're in casual dress, bro." Ivan voices out.

"Oh, that's because Sky is not going to office today. He's staying at home for me, not just today but for a whole week." Eco exclaims happily with a proud smile.

"Bro, why are you so happy? He's not staying at home for you. He's staying at home for the baby. Since he came to know you're pregnant, he's staying. Otherwise, tell me anytime until now he stayed at home for you?" Ivan teases Eco whose smile is already replaced with a pout.

After coming back from the hospital yesterday, we announced everyone about the pregnancy. Ivan and River congrated us. We called Eco's parents and they were so happy with the news.

"You're lying! Sky will never do that. And our baby is now just the size of the seed, why does he need to stay for the baby?" Eco argues.

Mom watches them while hiding his smile. River glances at them in between his feeding to the baby with a chuckle and my dad looks so bored.

"Because he's scared that you're not going to take good care of the baby. Look at you, you're like a child. How can he be relieved with you carrying his baby?" Ivan smirks when Eco looks at him with horror before turning to me.

"Baby..." Before Eco could question me anything, I cut him off.

"Don't listen to Ivan. I'm staying at home for you because I want to spend time with you. We came to know about the baby just yesterday but I was already thinking of taking leave since few days. So, it's really and exclusively just for you." I explain him which slowly brings a smile on his face and he turns to Ivan.

"Did you listen? He's staying for me!" Eco tells Ivan with a smug smile.

"Who knows he might be lying!" Ivan shrug and laughs which pisses off Eco.

For someone like Eco, who always keeps situations and others under his control, Ivan topped him and playing with Eco. It's actually fun to watch but I don't want to voice of out. Eco will kill me and I love my life, especially now that I have Eco and our baby. Ivan and Eco are quite fun duo and it's always fun to watch both of them.

"You both, stop bickering!" Dad is the one who puts stop to both of them, "eat breakfast, Sidney will be hungry."

And that earns a laugh from River and I while mom gets taken back and blushes as he hits dad. Soon, we get served with breakfast and we start eating. Halfway through it, I glance at Eco and find his food untouched. I frown and look at him, he's just playing with his good without eating while signing repeatedly.

"Eco," I call him out softly, "why aren't you eating?"

"I don't want to." He replies.

"You don't like it? Want something else?" I query him.

"Umm.. I want to eat donuts." He whispers and when he looks up, he seems embarrassed.

I follow his direction and see everyone looking at us. I thought we were being quiet.

"What's wrong, Sky?" Mom asks worried.

"Eco don't want to eat breakfast. He wants donuts." I tell mom.

"Donuts?" Mom looks surprised, "I don't know how to make them."

"I can make them for Eco." I say since I know how to make them.

"You know?" Eco shockingly asks me.

"You don't know that bro is good at baking? He makes cakes, cookies, brownies, donuts and all. OMG! I'm surprised that as his husband you don't that." Before I can answer Eco's question, Ivan bugs in with his act. He widen his eyes and mouth to justify his acting.

"How will I know if no one says anything?" Eco questions back Ivan, he's not angry but looks like sulking.

"Don't worry, bro. From now on, I'll be there for you. I'll tell you everything and anything." Ivan nods at Eco, why is he acting so much? He should have actually choose this as his career.

"Really? Thank you so much, Ivan. I feel like only you care for me in this house." Eco stuns us with his words.

Mom, dad, River, I even Ivan gets shocked hearing Eco's words and with the intensity he said them. Is Eco bipolar? I need to leave this place for a while. So, I finish eating my breakfast and get up before going to the kitchen. I gather all the ingredients and start preparing donuts for Eco. It takes time and everyone already finished eating. Once the donuts are done, I put them in a plate and take them to Eco who is sitting in the living room along with River, Ivan and their baby. I reach them and sit next to Eco as I hand him the plate.

"Thank you, baby." He thanks me and I give him a nod.

He starts eating his donuts while I join Ivan and play with Blue. River and Ivan named their child Blue. A while later, when Eco finishes eating, he tells me that he wants to go back to the room to rest and I accompany him. He settles on the bed and grab the remote as he turns on the TV. I stay next to him and curiously see what he's going to watch. He opens YouTube and watches videos about pregnancy and parental duties. I find it interesting and informative since after 9 months, we'll also have our baby and should know how to take care of them. We watch the videos all day long and eat our meals in between. The day goes by and soon night arrives. I decide to take Eco out for dinner.

"Baby, let's go and have our dinner out today." I tell him.

"ARE YOU TAKING ME ON A DINNER DATE?" He screams at the top of his lungs and I close my ears immediately.

"Why are you screaming?" I yell out.

"Sorry, baby! He giggles widely, "so the dinner.."

"Yes, I want to take you out on a dinner date. Can't I?" I give him confirmation.

"Of course you can. Just give me 10 minutes, I'll be ready in a flash." He says and runs to the closet to get ready.

Shaking my head at him, I leave the room and go out to inform mom about this so that he won't prepare dinner for us. I find him the kitchen and tell them about our plan and then head back to get ready. By the time I return, Eco is already dressed and waiting for me. I too dress up and then we leave.

I chose a decent restaurant where we enjoy our dinner. I let Eco decide anything that he wants to eat. We have our dinner in a comfortable environment before we return back home. I smile throughout the drive because things have been so great. In the videos we have seen today, it was shown how pregnant people have weird cravings and mood swings but Eco is so normal. River was the same, he was so normal all throughout his pregnancy. I just feel they make such videos to attract the audience otherwise who will really have such mood swings? Not Eco for sure.

Blue was supposed to be SkyEco's baby name but then I got a better idea for their baby so I named IvanRiver's baby as Blue.

Might finish this book in the next 5-6 chapters. If possible, I'll try to complete by the end of the week.
