Eco's POV

"Eco, are you ready yet? Come on, everyone is in the living room and the party is going to start soon. Let's go." Sky tells me as he comes to our room in search of me.

"What did I tell you?" I ask him sternly.

He looks confused for a second but he realises his mistake.

"Baby," he states and I nod my head, he forgot to call me baby again. He keeps doing that though and I have to remind him again and again, "fine, baby, let's go."

"First tell me how I'm looking." I tell him as I stand in front of him in my today's party costume.

It took me almost half day to think and decide on what to wear.

Sky scans me from head to toe very seriously before his eyes finally land on my face. I wait for him eagerly.

"You're looking good." He smiles as he says which makes me frown.

"Just good? That's it?" I look at myself, I took so long only to look just good?

"I mean you're already good looking and now you're so gorgeous. So beautiful and pretty." He extends his compliments.

"Really?" I ask further for confirmation and he nods, "that's good then. I want to be the best today. Everyone should look at me. I want to be the center of attraction. I mean it'll obviously be River since it's his party and I don't want to steal his spotlight but if there's anyone after him, that should be me."

"Of course you're going to be." Sky agrees with me, "then, can I ask you something since I gave you my sincere opinion on how you look?"

"Sure, baby. What is it? Should I too tell you how you're looking? But you always look great, so handsome and attractive all the time." I reply with a smile.

My husband is always good looking, just like me. We're perfect match for each other. I giggle at my own thoughts.

"I-I..." He starts but doesn't continue. What does he want that he's hesitating so much?

"You what? Just tell me. It's not like I'm going to bite you." I chuckle at his struggling.

"I want to kiss you?" He says, more like a question.

He's asking me for a kiss. Where did that guy go who said who isn't good at these kind of things when I asked for a kiss yesterday?

I take my steps forward and move closer to him, reducing the distance between us. Standing so close to each other, I keep my hands around his shoulders and stare straight into his eyes.

"If you want kisses, hugs or anything for that matter, you can just do it. You don't need my permission every single time. It should be a normal thing between us now. No formalities. Understand?" I whisper against his lips by moving even closer to him.

"Understand." He mumbles before attaching his lips on mine.

My eyes gets closed automatically as soon as his lips touch mine. I feel his hands draping around my waist as he pulls me even closer to him, although we're already so close, and holds me tight. I move my hands further and wrap them around his neck before grabbing his hair in my fist. It's good, he's kissing me good, I can't help but fist his hair. He eagerly sucks on my lips before bitting them lightly. It makes me so excited that I let out a moan as I open my lips which gives him the access to push his tongue inside. Again, who is the guy who said he can't kiss when he's almost eating me? Our kiss was going so good until we hear a knock on the door.

"Bro', Sky and Eco. Please come. Our baby shower party is going to start and we're all waiting for you. Are you guys actually busy making your own baby? Do that later, attend the party first." It's Ivan.

Sky and I pull away from the kiss and look at each other before creating the distance between us. I sigh in disappointment. I swear Ivan made it as his life goal to disturb Sky and me when we're together. There's no other explaination to his actions.

With one last look at each other, Sky and I walk to the door and he opens it to find Ivan standing there. I glare at him while folding my hands on my chest.

"Oops! Bro Eco is angry which means I really disturbed your private time. So, what I spoke just now is true though I was joking." Ivan makes fun of us.

"Stop it, Ivan. It's nothing like that. Eco is just getting ready." Sky gives an excuse but I highly doubt Ivan is going to believe him.

"I believe you, bro." Ivan says to Sky, his expressions completely opposite to his words. He then turns to me again, "mommy Eco, please come. We're waiting for you."

"Ivan, stop it! I'm not a mom." I grind my teeth as I talk.

"Yes, you're already one and soon you're going to be a real mom." He still continues to tease me, "I mean our baby is like your baby too. You guys will be the baby's parents as well."

"Yeah, I'll make sure to keep the baby out of your reach so that they won't end up like you. Stupid!" I yell as I walk past him while hitting his shoulder with mine in the process.

I can hear him chuckle but I don't turn back and just get downstairs. While walking, I see the guests and our family members in the living room. River is standing in the middle while talking to his grandmother and uncle Sidney and uncle Elijah are talking to my parents. My parents came in the morning since uncle Sidney requested them. I just went to get ready like everyone else but didn't know I took this long that everyone is now already here.

Upon reaching, I go and stand with uncle Sidney.

"You guys are here." He says after looking at me and at Sky who's next to me.

When did he come?

"Yes, mama. Sorry for being late." He apologies and I chuckle internally.

"No problem. Shall we start? River didn't want to start without you both." Uncle Sidney says.

"Let's start." Sky and I state at the same time and laugh out.

Soon the party starts and I watch everything in awe, it's so good. The decorations, the balloons, the party mood, how everyone is so focused on River, his dress is super good, he wore a sash too on which it's written as best mom. I guess it's Ivan idea, the boy has a mom kink or something. Whatever. But everything is so good and I wish to have that too. But we still have time for that. Sky and I still didn't think of babies. Though I'm not very specific about it as in I never mind whenever we have babies. I'm always ready but Sky should also be interested and I don't know his opinion about it. I sigh as I think about it.

The party goes on and it's revealed that River and Ivan are going to have a baby boy. We all clap and cheer for them as confetti is blown and the cake is cut. Once all the guests congratulate the soon to be parents, they're directed towards the dining area to eat. Only grandmother, River and I are here as the uncle Sidney, uncle Elijah, Sky and Ivan are talking to few guests.

"Um... River," I call River who is listening to grandmother as she's telling him about some diet.

"Yes, Eco." He turns to me and smiles.

"Can I try this once?" I request while pointing to the sash.

The sash is super cool. Wearing it is giving celebrity feeling. I want to wear it once and get the feels.

"Oh, Eco. You're funny." Grandmother laughs making both River and I to look at her, "not everyone can wear this, this is specifically for pregnant people. Get pregnant and then wear it. I guess it's fascinating you but you can't until you get pregnant." She says and continues to laugh.

It somehow makes me feel bad and adding to that, River gives me sorry looks. I force a smile and escape from them before walking upstairs and going to our room. Getting in, I sit on the bed as I think. It's just a sash, I just wanted to try it. Why can't I? Is getting pregnant so important to wear a sash? And what if it fascinates me? What's so wrong with what I want? The way she laughed at me made me feel like she's mocking me.

"Eco?" I hear my name and see Sky walking in, "why are you here? Let's go. Everyone is waiting for you to eat."

"No, I don't want to." I reject and turn to the other side while pulling my legs up and keeping my hands on my knees.

"Why?" Sky asks as he comes in front of me and knees down.

"Baby, can I request you something first?" I request him as soft as I can.

"What is it?" He tells me to ask him.

"I want to get pregnant. I want a baby too. Let's have our baby, baby." I put forth my request.

"YOU WHAT?" He screams in shock and falls back on his butt.

Didn't write the baby shower party and it's arrangements prior in details. Maybe when I write River's story, I'll see but not in SkyEco's book.
