Sky's POV

"Baby, more how long do I have to keep this? One month?" Eco asks and when I look up at him, he seems nervous.

"The doctor told to bandage it for a week. Once it's over, we'll go and visit him again." I tell him and turn back to his hand as I continue the dressing.

Eco and I are in my room. I came back from the office while Eco returned after our lunch session, had some rest and snacks. Before we go to eat dinner, I decided to do the dressing to his hand. Sitting on the bed, facing each other I concentrate on dressing when he starts a conversation.

"Really? That's good then!" He states happily.

"You seem happy to get over with this?" I comment and look up at him, finished with the bandage.

"Yes, baby. I'm so happy to get done with this." He exclaims and I chuckle while shaking my head.

"Why did you cut your fingers in the first place? If you weren't good at it, why did you want to help mom?" I ask him.

He says silent for a moment.

"Because I want to learn to cook." He says a while later.

"Why? Mom is already cooking for us and when he can't do it anymore, we'll hire a cook. Why do you hurt yourself?" I question him.

"I want to learn for you, baby." He mumbles and keeps his head low while playing with this hands.

"For me?" I query confused.

"Um...yes. Uncle Sidney does the cooking now and his husband and family gets to eat his hand cooked meals. River too knows to cook though he isn't doing it now because of his pregnancy. I too want to learn so that I can cook for you in the future. They not only know to cook but they also take care of their husbands. I too want to take care of you, baby. I want to become a best partner for you." He explains.

I get stunned for a while at his words as I watch him who is looking everywhere but at me. His face turned red. When I come out of my trance, I let out a chuckle.

"So you basically want to become a good wife to me, huh!" I tease him by calling him wife again.

It's actually so fun to call him wife and see his reaction. His face blushes and he feels shy when I call him wife. I know it's not uncomfortable to him or he dislikes it, maybe it's just new to him. If he really hate it, I'll drop it immediately. I wouldn't force anything on him that he won't like.

"Whatever! You won't stop teasing me. Wait for it, I'll also have my chance to tease you." He mutters and I laugh which makes him huff. A moment later, he talks again, "baby, I want to ask you something?"

"What is it?" I tell him continue.

"Can I go to the company along with you?" He requests while looking at me in expectations.

"Work with me?" I call out confused to which he nods his head, "why?"

"No important reason. I'm just bored sitting at home. Uncle Sidney and uncle Elijah are always together, Ivan goes to work and as River is pregnant he's forbidden to work. I'm only one left and feel bored all throughout the day. So, I also want to come with you. Will you agree baby?" He reasons out and asks my opinion.

"What did you study?" I ask for his degree because if he really wants then I can find a suitable position for him in the right department.

"I studied fashion designing, baby." He replies and waits for me.

I bite my lips as I think, think on how to tell him his degree doesn't offer job in our company.

"Um... Eco, we don't have a suitable job for you in the company. But don't worry, I'll talk to my fellow business partners and find if any company fits you." I assure him.

"You! My dummy baby." He groans while face palming, "didn't you understand, I just want to be you. I don't need the job, I just need you."

I get taken back by his words. Am I really that slow that I couldn't get the actual meaning behind his words?

"You just want to be with me?" I call out confused.

"Yes." He nods his head.

"Hmm... Okay, I guess. You can just visit me whenever you want." I shrug as I have no reason to say no.

"But I can't do that. People in the company will think I'm taking advantage of my husband's position as the CEO and also our family members will tease me." He pouts, "how about you make me your secretary?"

"But I already have one." Rui is my secretary, he too knows that.

"Yeah, right, you already have one." He mumbles to himself as he thinks, "what about PA then?"

"I have a PA as well." I remind him.

"Argh! Whatever! Just take me with you, baby. I'm not bothered about any one anymore. If they make fun, let them. If they tease, let them, if they think I'm taking advantage, then let them. I'm not going to mind it anymore." He finally gives up searching for reasons.

I lift my hand up and gently caress his hair, it's so soft and silky, my fingers are just sliding without even me putting force.

"It's fine, just do what you want to do. Never mind others." I whisper softly, "and since when did you even care about others?"

I laugh out loud and he pushes my hand away from his head.

"Baby, that's not funny." He whines while I still try to control my laugh.

"Okay, okay, I'm just kidding." I wipe my tears which fell because of excessive laughing, "but you can really do anything that you want."

"Anything that I want?" He questions with a smirk and suddenly I stop laughing.

The situation isn't funny anymore. With the way he's looking at me, I can't help but gulp down in nervous.

"I-I mea..." Before I could even complete, he jumps on me and makes me lay on the bed with him on me.

"Baby, you said anything. Then I want to kiss you again." He whispers against my lips, that action alone sends shivers to my whole body.

His face is just inches away from mine. His whole body laying on mine, with each part of ours rubbing against each other's. His hands wrapped around my neck. He smells like baby powder, very contrary to his character. His minty breath fans my face. I gulp down yet again as I stare at him with big eyes, I know my eyes bulged out with how sudden the moment is.

Whenever Eco comes close to me, I get this feeling of never letting him go. I just want to hold him tight, kiss him senseless and do something beyond that. My body feels electrified and warm. I swear I never felt like this before in my entire life. But with Eco, I just can't help.

My hands slowly move as I go to hug him back.

"Oh! Don't worry, baby. I'm just teasing you." Eco says and goes to get up.

However, I immediately lock him as I wrap my hands around his waist and don't allow him to move. He gazes at me in surprise and slowly his face starts turning red.

"B-baby... W-what are you doing?" Eco shutters with his words.

"Doesn't my wife want to get kisses from me?" I whisper against his lips so that he too understands how I felt when he did that to me.

I feel his body tremble against mine and his hands tighten their hold around my neck. Now it's my time to smirk.

"B-baby.." He literally couldn't say anything apart from uttering my name.

I move my face even closer to him, our lips almost touching. There's just a gap of a thread and I was ready to kiss him when we hear the knock on the door before it gets open. I look at the door immediately.

"Bro, uncle Sid..." Ivan who was about to say something halts when he sees us on each other, "owh! I'm sorry. I just came to inform you that uncle Sidney is calling you both to eat dinner. Never mind, I'll just tell him they're busy eating something else." He stares at us without any shame as he teases us.

"Shut up and get out. There's nothing like you think it is." I state while help Eco to get up from me when he tries.

"There sure is." He folds his hands on his chest and watches us like a movie, "look at bro's face, he can't even face me."

Eco kept his face low as he's looking down. His face is so red.

"Honey, come down!" River's scream is the only thing that saved us from Ivan as he gives us one last look before leaving the room.

"Lock the damn door next time!" Eco yells at me when I was about to call him before stomping out of the room.
