Sky's POV

"I don't want to go, Eve." I sigh as I massage my temple while telling her for the nth time.

"Come on, Sky. It would be fun and keeping that a side it's actually for the successful completion of the project. And to cheer for many more to come in the future." She tries to convince me.

Many more to come in the future? I swear I'm not going to do any more projects with you again. This will be the last.

Actually, the project where I collaborated with Eve's company finally came to an end with success. It came out more better than we thought and brought popularity to their company making them earn more profits. And now keeping that an as excuse, she's here to invite me for a success party. In any case, I too would have attend and celebrate my success. But I know this girl's plan. Last time we had a situation like this and at the end I came to know it was just her and me, no other person at the party. What kind of party is that? When I asked she said, since we were both the main people behind the success, the other were not included. How can that be? Without the help from other employees and staff, nothing can be done or moved forward. We're the main people but we aren't the ones working physically and actually bringing out the products to life. I hated that fact and realised it was just her excuse to have a meet with me as I won't agree in any other situations. And she's repeating it again but this time I'm not going to fall for her cunning plans.

"I said I..." Before I could finish, the door to my cabin gets open and there walks Eco.

"Eco?" I call out confused while standing up.

"Hii, baby!" He greets me with a big smile while making his way towards me, I didn't miss the glaring glance that he threw at Eve.

I instantly feel nervous. What if he thinks I'm flirting with her, like the time during our honeymoon? However, I immediately get reminded of his health and my worry turns to him.

"Are you feeling okay now?" I ask him when he comes and stands next to me.

I wanted to ask him why he's here when he isn't in good health but then if he misunderstood my intention and think I'm asking him that because he saw me with a girl. So, I put the question in a better manner. Also, since he's here it means it's permitted by mom. If Eco's health is still not supporting him, mom wouldn't allow him and would ask him to rest instead.

"I'm feeling better, baby." He nods, the smile not leaving his face, "I brought lunch for you today. I'm going to eat together with you. Are you busy?" He looks at Eve as he asks.

The way he asked it seems like even if I'm busy, I should say I'm not.

"Not really, we're almost done talking." I reply.

"So Sky are you agreeing to go with me?" Eve queries in front of Eco.

Girl, you're digging your own grave.

From what I get from Eco's character, he won't do anything to me when someone approaches me or flirts me, he'll rather teach the lesson to that person. I know that but still I don't want to mess up anything from my side. And angry or calm Eco is kinda scary.

"Go where? Where do you want to go with my husband?" Eco beats me as he questions her back.

"There's a success party since the collaboration project between us turned successful. I'm asking Sky to join me." Eve replies with an attitude.

If she thinks she has an attitude, she should think twice because Eco is like the master at it. He can just burn you down with his looks.

"Oh, really? That's great! My husband will definitely attend the party." Eco exclaims happily which makes Eve smile while I look at him confused, "I'll make sure to bring my husband to the party."

Eve's jaw drops at Eco's next words while I try to understand the situation. Does he mean he too will attend the party?

"You mean you'll come as well?" Eve asks after gaining her senses.

"Yes, since it's my husband's success party as his wife, I should be a part of it." Eco smiles but I can see the flames behind his smiles.

"Um...I don't want to trouble you, you know. Just Sky is enough." Eve tries her luck.

I just relax and watch them, it's kinda fun though.

"It's not a trouble, miss. I can go anywhere with my husband, how will it be a trouble for me when I actually get more time to spend with him? And also my husband will be happy if I accompany him, right baby?" Eco queries me.

"Y-yeah!" I nod automatically.

Well it's at least better to have Eco with me so that I can escape from her evil acts.

"See, it's settled. We'll make sure to attend the party, send us the venue later." Eco turns back to Eve again, "now, if you leave, miss, we'll eat our lunch. We wouldn't want the CEO to be late to work later on."

At Eco's words, Eve grabs her bag from the table and stomps away from my cabin. Once she's out, Eco turns to me. He isn't smiling anymore.

"What?" I call out confused.

"She's clearly flirting with you, you know that right?" He folds his hands on his chest.

"I know and I've been telling her I'm not interested in her. It has been happening even before our marriage but I didn't think she'll still continue. I didn't agree to attend the party. I'm also going to stop collaborating with her. More than getting profits and benefits, she's ruining my peace of mind and giving chance for rumours and scandals." I sigh yet again.

"Really? You could have told me before. I thought she's very important business partner so I was being good to her. Otherwise, I would have been my real self and tore her into pieces." Eco swears while looking at the door, "she must still be in the office."

"Eco, stop!" He makes an attempt to go after her but I hold him back as I wrap my hands around his waist from behind.

"Leave me, baby. I'm gonna go to her." He tries to pull my hold from him but I hold him tight.

Since he's fighting to go, I lose my hold and make him turn as we come face to face. His eyebrows furrowed and pulled up, his nose scrunched a little and his red lips are pulled outside in an angry pout. He looks furious, like an angry cat. I couldn't help but chuckle at his face.

"Why are you laughing?" He yells at me and I control my laugh.

"It's okay, Eco. You don't need to go after her. As I said I'm not going to work with her anymore. This will be the last." I tell him.

"Still, I need to let her know she can't mess with me by flirting with my husband." Eco states, "no problem, on the party day I'll slash her." He stops trying to escape and puts his hands on my shoulder, "you remember it clearly, baby, you're mine."

I smile at his words as I watch him. His words are harsh but some how he looks cute.

"Why are you smiling now?" He questions.

"Nothing." I shake my head as I whisper while continue to stare at him.

He too just watches me. I never paid attention but Eco is really beautiful and pretty. He's skin is soft and glowing. His features are sharp and his body is lean. His face is small with beautiful brown eyes, small but pointed nose, red and plumpy lips. He just looks flawless and very attractive. My eyes stop their focus on his lips which for some reason he keeps bitting. They're already luscious and appealing but with his constant nibbling on them, they're getting more tempting. I get the feeling to touch them and do what he's doing. I want to be the one bitting those lips. I move my face close to him with each passing second and almost touch them when I hear a loud scream.

"Ahhh!" I snap out of my thoughts and pull my face away from his before removing my hands around him.

When I look at the door, I see Rui standing there with my lunch box.

"I-I'm sorry, s-sir. I was actually waiting for your call but since you didn't and lunch time is almost getting over, I decided to bring the lunch." Rui apologies, "I'll leave now, I'm really sorry sir."

She leaves the lunch bags at the door before closing the door.

I got so lost in him that I didn't realise what was I doing. I shake my head and nervously glance at Eco to see how he's feeling because of my stupid action and I find him frowning. He's angry, no doubt about that.

I'll apologise and make peace.

"Eco, I...I'm sor..." My words gets cut off as what he does next comes as a surprise.
