Eco's POV

The sunshine beaming through the window, welcomes me as soon as I wake up from my sleep. With a smile, I sit up and grab my phone from the table only to freak out when I see the time. It's past 9 in the morning which not only mean I overslept but Sky has already left for the work. Immediately jumping down the bed, I run to the bathroom and take a quick shower before getting dressed and going downstairs.

"I'm sorry, uncle Sidney. I overslept and didn't see the time." I approach uncle Sidney who is the kitchen and apologise to him.

"It's okay, Eco. You're still recovering, it's fine." He smiles and boils milk for me.

"Thank you." I thank him with a smile and feel relief.

It's not like uncle Sidney will be angry at me if I get up late or don't help him with anything because he's not such a person. He actually takes good care of me and already knows a little of my behaviour. And since I got my fingers chopped a day ago and then suffered from fever the whole day, he keeps telling me to rest to recover. Day before yesterday I cut my fingers and suffered from fever but since yesterday I'm slowly gaining my strength back. I felt so weak and bad. I didn't know a cut on fingers could cause fever and make me feel like shit otherwise I would have been careful. Sky was beside me the last two days and took good care of me. He even used to hold me in sleep though I wasn't the one who initiated it. I feel happy as I remember it. Today being Monday, he left to office and too bad I couldn't see him.

"Here, Eco. Have milk, eat breakfast and then take medicine." Uncle Sidney hands me the milk glass.

I accept it with a smile and start sipping it.

"Uncle Sidney, did Sky tell you to tell me anything before leaving to office?" I ask him nervously.

At least, Sky would have informed uncle Sidney to tell me that he was leaving since he couldn't tell me by himself as I was sleeping. And to take care of my health.

"Ah, actually..." Before uncle Sidney could finish what he was to suppose to say, he stops midway.

"I didn't tell mama so that I can tell you by myself." Hearing Sky's voice, I turn around at once and see him standing at the kitchen entrance in his suit.

I got stunned hearing him and seeing him.

He slowly approaches me and stands in front of me. I stare at him in shock and then glance at uncle Sidney to see him smiling while shaking his head.

"I'll be going out, I think Eli is calling me." Uncle Sidney mumbles and leaves the kitchen.

Uncle Elijah called him? But when? I'm here too but I didn't hear uncle Elijah's voice.

"How are feeling today?" Sky too looks confused but then he recovers and asks me while checking my body temperature.

"I'm feeling good, baby." I reply with a big smile, "did you really wait until I wake up?"

"Hmm...I didn't want to leave before knowing how you are feeling today." Sky answers my question, "your body temperature is normal now."

"Yeah, I'm better than yesterday and feel normal now." I agree and move closer to him.

"Come on, I'll help you eat breakfast and then leave for work. I'm already late today." He says and turns around.

I follow him and leave the kitchen. We sit at the dining table and Sky serves the breakfast in a plate before he feeds me. I eat happily since I didn't expect Sky to wait until I wake up, so what even that he's also feeding me. I'm so happy and my heart it filled with joy.

"Baby, enough. I'm full." I stop him once I feel full.

He nods and gets up as he goes to keep the plate in the kitchen. When he returns, he takes me to our room and gives me medicine.

"I hope you'll soon get back to normal completely." He mumbles while gently tucking the hair behind my ears.

I watch with a beaming smile before moving forward and hugging him.

"Thank you, baby. You're taking good care of me, I know I'll get cured soon." My voice gets muffled against his chest.

I feel his hand gently rubbing my back before he actually holds me in return. I couldn't contain the happiness anymore. If it means Sky looks after me, I'll get sick all the time.

"Um..I'll get going now." A while later, he pulls away as he separates us.

"Okay." I nod and with one last look, he turns around and leaves the room.

After his departure, I take some rest and scroll my phone as I didn't check it for last two days. I also call my parents and talk to them. Inform them that I'm getting better. Time passes by and it's already lunch. Getting up, I leave our room and head downstairs. When I reach the kitchen, I see uncle Sidney packing Sky's lunch bag.

"Oh, Eco. You're here. How are feeling? Any problem?" Hearing my footsteps, uncle Sidney looks at me and queries me.

"No problem, uncle Sidney. I'm fine now." I reply to him with a smile to which he smiles in return, "is this Sky's?" I ask even though I know it's his.

"Yes, it's time for lunch. So I'm sending his box." He answers.

"Um.. uncle Sidney, can I take his box today?" I ask him, I know he won't say no but since I'm not well I'm not sure he'll actually agree. He's so worried about me.

"You want to bring him the box by yourself?" He calls out.

"Yeah." I nod in confirmation.

"Okay, I'm agreeing only because you said you're fine now." He agrees and I smile widely.

"Thank you, uncle Sidney." I thank him.

"Should I pack lunch for you as well? Maybe you would also like to eat together with Sky." I nod eagerly but when I see his teasing face, I rub my nape as my face heats up.

"Then, I'll go and get ready by the time you finish packing, uncle Sidney." I tell him and before he could say anything, I run away from the scene.

Going to our room, I fresh up and pick a dress. Though I'm weak and sick, I can't compromise on my looks. I've to look good, especially now that I'm going to the office as Sky's husband. Not taking much time, I get ready quickly and head downstairs. Uncle Sidney is already in the living room.

"You're ready? I'll call the driver." Seeing me he calls the drivers.

"It's okay, uncle Sidney. I can carry the bags to the car." I try to grab the lunch bags which are set on the table.

"No, you're not well. Don't trouble yourself, it's already concerning me that you're going out. Let the guy carry the bag." He stops me and calls the driver.

I let him and wait for the driver. He comes, takes the bags and leaves. I bid bye to uncle Sidney and follow the driver. Getting in the car, he drives me to the office. It don't take long and we reach on time. We enter the office and see not many people as everyone might have went to have lunch. Getting on the elevator, we head to Sky's office. When the elevator stops, we get down and walk towards his cabin. I want to carry the bag but then uncle Sidney forbid me so I let the driver do his job and just walk behind him. Going close to Sky's cabin, my eyes frown when I see his secretary peeking through the door to his cabin.

I tap her on the back which makes her jolt and turn back in shock before looking at me.

"S-sir.." She shutters.

"What are you doing?" I fold my hands on my chest and ask her sternly.

"Nothing, sir. Madam Eve is here to meet sir Sky, I'm just curious as what they're talking." She scratches her neck and looks around shyly while answering.

"Why don't you go in then?" I call out, "as his secretary you can be a part of the meeting, right!"

"No, sir." She pouts, "madam Eve requested for personal meeting, only sir Sky and her."

"Then why are you peeking?" I query, I'm already hating the fact that a lady requested a very private meeting with my husband.

"I'm just checking on sir Sky. Actually madam Eve likes sir Sky and keeps hitting on him. He don't like her though but she chooses business as excuse and meet him. So annoying!" She humps.

"And why does it make you annoying?" Apart from controlling myself as I just heard someone is hitting on my husband, I'm also seeing another someone getting annoyed at it.

"Because sir Sky is married now. Before I didn't interfere but now he's married. This lady shouldn't ruin his married life by selling stories later on. So, I'm being a witness so that I can help sir Sky later if things go wrong." She whispers and I smile internally, at least she's not a threat to me.

"Thank you but I'll take care from here." I say while tapping her shoulder to which she nods and leaves.

She's one of the guests in our marriage so she knows that I'm Sky's husband.

I turn to the door and let out a sigh before pushing it open with a big smile. Let the lady know with whom she's playing!
