I do not understand this black and white creature!
Its body is that of a snake, but its head is much larger than the rest of it.
No eyes, no teeth, no tongue – it simply screams at me for no reason at all!

I use my murder mittens and scratch it to no avail.
I use my powerful bite, which is as strong as a crocodile's, again nothing.
The baffling creature always appears after the human soaks me wet.
The ugly animal must be a water-licking parasite!

The human is always behind it, but too scared to be useful,
and I'm stuck alone fighting it.
Its breath is hot,
Like the gray box where the human puts the bread where it becomes warm and gets covered in mud.

Every time the water touches me, it appears.
Even when I try to dry in the sun, it appears!

I do not understand its obsession with me.
