1 year later

Levi

I sigh, another night with Derek supposedly "working". Which ends up with him sneaking back into our room and immediately showering and sometimes smelling like perfume. I was 5 months pregnant with our baby. So I was a very.... cautious...mother to our child even if I was not a woman. I acted like I was sleeping when he came back. I was sitting on the bed with the lights out. I heard girly giggles and kissing walking in. He didn't know I was back from Em and Julius's house. The lights were off and I heard him laugh. He turns on the lights and I was now standing up crossing my arms. My stomach visible, "L-levi...hey.." He says nervously. I shake my head, "Have fun with your new mate." I say walking away. "Since obviously you don't like me as your mate." I grab a bad that I packed a couple days ago just in case this happened. "Have fun with your new mate. Hope you love your new family with her. " I say walking out. I cry silently walking away, "Wait! Levi!" I stopped and I turned around. I was pissed, "So, this working includes kissing and other things?" I had tears streaming down my face by now. He looked taken aback, I made a fist with my hand.

"I, Levi Jameson,-"

"No! Levi I'm sorry!" He was crying hard now.

"Reject you, Derek Thome-"

"LEVI NO! STOP! PLEASE! I WANT TO BE THERE FOR OUR CHILD!! PLEASE! I'M DRUNK!" He was on his knees crying now.

"As my mate." I end but it's not officially true until he agrees.
"Drunk my ass." I say and I turn around walking away. I walk out, I start crying hard after that. Fuck! I hate him!

3 years later sowi for so many time skips))

Derek

I sigh annoyingly banging my head on my desk. I miss my mate, I miss Levi. It's my fault he hates me, I was drunk! But....I knew what was happening the whole time. Julius was on the sofa in my office thinking. I break the pencil that was in my hand, "Fuck!" I yell. I punch the desk and I leave to go to my room. When I walk in, I see a picture of Levi and I on my dresser. He was smiling and I was kissing his cheek. I close the door and I break down crying. He left....and because of me... I must have fallen asleep on the ground, because I woke up on the ground when the sun was shining through the curtains. I get up and I do my morning routine. I dress in a navy blue long sleeved shirt, with dark jeans and my black combat boots. I walk out and to my office. Julius walks in with his mate Em, Em is pregnant like Levi the last time I saw him. Julius then speaks and smiles, "We have a surprise for you." I look at them with a raised eyebrow, "What?" I reply. "Levi's coming back."
