Sid : I don't care if you have any work or not but please don't try to convert my bedroom into a fish market because of that ...! ( He exclaimed in a loud voice)

Shehnaaz lifted her head just to find an extremely tired yet angry looking Sidharth standing by the door ...... With a sarcastic smile on her face she looked towards the kids ....

Sana : My little loves it's already late you need to go and sleep ......

Akshat  : But Mami.....

Sana : No buts baby...... you have school tomorrow right ?

Riya : Yes ......

Sana : Then go ...go .....

Sana : Good night ......!

Seeing  Sidharth entering  the washroom when she got up from her place and walked towards the kitchen to heat up their dinner before bringing the food tray inside the bedroom .....

She was just about to place the tray on the small table in the bedroom when the washroom door opened and Sidharth entered the bedroom  all in his glory .....

Although Shehnaaz was really angry on Sidharth after he behaved like that earlier but that never meant that she can't admire one of the living specimen of the Greek God ....... She turned her head towards her half naked husband who had just wrapped a towel around his lower body while wiping his hair with another ......

Though it wouldn't be the first time she had seen him half naked but there were times when her whole existence made her feel as if it was their first meet with the eruption on millions of butterflies inside her stomach .......

Scanning her husband's torso from top to bottom while he was wiping his wet hair she didn't even realise how much time had passed while she was still standing bending her back to keep the tray .....

She kept the food on the table and stood up before going back to the kitchen to get some water ......

Taking the jug of water and two empty glasses she reached back to the room just to find Sidharth standing infront of the food and comenting ......

Sid: Why do you need this much food for a single person. ......?

Sana : Why what's the problem ....?

Sid : I don't think that I have ever eaten this much food on my entire life....

Sana : That's good because it's not just for you ......

Sid : Then ......?

Sana : We both are going to share .....

Sid : What were you doing during dinner ?

Sana : Well I don't think I need to give an explanation to you ....... after all I don't have any work.....

Sid : You are misinterpreting my words ......

Sana : No I'm not .....

Sid : So what's with this attitude ?

Sana : Nothing .......just talking the way you do with me these days .....

Sid : Shehnaaz ....... it's too much now ......

Sana : No ..... it isn't.....

Sana : Just because you came late and saw me spending time with the kids doesn't mean that I didn't have any work to do .....

She satdown on one of the mid century chair present in the room before picking her plate of food and starting to eat ......

Sid : Have your food like a pig and get out of my bedroom ......

Shehnaaz was just about to put the first morsel of food into her mouth when Sidharth commented about her eating habits ....... She stopped in the middle and looked up at the man she calls her husband for the last few months and loves to the moon and back ........

She didn't know if she could eat the rest of the food after what he said ....... Lowering her head she sat there idle for a few moments before taking up a glass of water and finishing it..........

Picking up her plate and used glass she walked towards the kitchen ....... Washing her hands she put the glass in the sink before transferring her share of food in a to go container and wash the dishes ......

Collecting her phone and other belongings from his bedroom without a word she got out of the apartment with the food container in her hand ......

Getting inside the elevator she pressed the button to the ground floor before leaving a sigh of relief and closing her eyes ........  By the time the metal box reached the ground floor she took deep breaths to control her anger ..........

It wasn't like she was weak but she didn't want to create a scene so late at night and wake up his mother who was already down with fever from the last few hours ......

She took a round around the society buildings before walking out of the main gate give the food to the street dogs....... With a tinge of smile on her face she walked in and went back to her own apartment.........

Closing the door to the main entrance of her apartment she threw her bag and other stuffs on the center table in the living area before walking towards the balcony ........

Leaning on the edge she looked at the sky.......

Shehnaaz  sometimes really missed punjab after all she could enjoy the view of the stars at night from the terrace of her own house on such days when she felt like everything was a Complete mess ......

Hearing her growling stomach she sigh thinking about the last meal she had ........ She was in the recording studio and had a slice of pizza being paranoid thinking that she might actually vomit while singing if she ate more ......

Reluctantly she walked towards the kitchen in search of some food ....... Opening and closing several cabinets for a while she settled down for some tea and biscuits.......

Filling up the kettle with some water she kept it on the stove to boil .....  Arranging a cup and a saucer along with some biscuits on it she leaned on the counter .........

Her mind once again reminded her of the way Sidharth has rudely talked to her along with some insults . .....

Sana : Why was he talking as if I'm living out of him ( she muttered  )

Sana  : Neither am I a pig nor a lazy arse that you need to push inorder to make me do some work .......

Shaking her head she looked towards the livingroom where her eyes landed on the beautiful silver Lakshmi Ganesh idol she got as a gift from Neetu Di .......

Sana : Diwali huh ! ( she scoffed  )

Her mind went back to the day of Diwali......

Flashback to Diwali :-

Shehnaaz got up early in the morning due to the excitement of celebrating her first Diwali with her in laws....

In the morning itself she bathed herself and got ready in a beautiful red saree wearing her wedding chain and vermilion just like a newly wedded woman ........

With a radiant smile on her face she proceeded towards the kitchen......  She thought about the happy moments when she was just a small girl and celebrated Diwali with her grandparents......

With tears in her eyes she entered the kitchen and started to make some sweet for the deities they had in their home ......

Covering her head she was about to put the Dutch oven pot on the stove when someone entered the kitchen ......

Rita Ma : Good morning beta .....   you are up so early ?

Sana : Good morning Ma ....... Yup ....... I couldn't sleep more .....

Rita Ma  : Excitement?

Sana : Too much .....

Rita Ma : Well thats good .....

Sana : Happy Diwali Ma .......

Rita Ma  : Happy Diwali baccha ......

Rita Ma : What are you making ?

Sana : Something sweet for the morning payer ....

Sana : You don't need to ...... I can do it myself

She closed her eyes and stood infront of the idol of Shiv Parvati and started to sing .....

Finishing the arti of the god and goddess she turned around with the plate of Prasad in her hand ......

Rita Ma : You have such a shooting voice darling ......

Neetu Di : Yes mom ...... her voice made the house get envelope in a sense of holiness......

Sana : Thank you di .......

Sana : I'm glad you liked the song Ma .....

Akshat : Mami ...... you rocked ......

Riya : It was awesome.......

Sana : Thanks baccha ....... ( she side hugged both the kids one by one )

Abhinav : Your voice is magical ......

Sana : Thank you bhai ......

Abhinav  : Well I want one more ladoo for the compliment.....

Sana : Sure .... ( she chuckled )

Sid : You sang good but couldn't you do this a little later .......?

Rita Ma  : We couldn't Sidharth after all she has enough work to do other than trying to keep up with others demands ......

Sid: Ma ....

Rita Ma : Go and freshen up .......

Rita Ma : Well kids ...... Breakfast is ready come to the dining area .....

Eachone of them nodded their head consendung to her demands and followed her to the room ......

All the family members sat down to eat their breakfast in the dining room ......

Rita Ma : You guys remember that we are going to get the date for the wedding today right ?

Sid : Whose wedding ?

Rita Ma  : Shehnaaz and yours ....

Neetu Di : Please don't tell that you forgot .....

Sid : It's not like that .....

Abhinav : Then?

Sid : Jiju....... It just ......

Rita Ma : It's okay....... whatever it is ...... Get ready in the evening alright......

Sid : Hmm....( he replied with a dull face )

Sana : It's after the Puja in the evening right ?

Rita Ma : Yes it is.......

Rita Ma : By the way Nikita and her family are coming right ?

Sana : Yes ma they are ...... I even called her in the morning , she said she'll drop her kid in the afternoon and then both of them will come in the evening......

Neetu Di : That's actually good after all these Kiddos will get someone to play with .....

Akshat : It's going to be fun .....

Abhinav : It is afterall you are going to get a friend to play with .......

Finishing their food they got up from their seats .....  

Rita  Ma  : Let's gather in the livingroom....... I need to give you all the gifts......

Seeing the kids so excieted all the elders gathered in the livingroom just about an hour later .......

Rita  Ma  : Here this is for you Riya ......

Riya  : Thank you Nani this is so cute....  ( she said opening the box containing a dolphin shaped gold pendant )

Rita Ma : Akshu baccha this is for you ....

Akshu : Is this the avengers logo ....? ( he asked excitedly)

Rita Ma  : Yes beta ..... 

Akshat  : Thank you ...... you are the best Nani .......! ( He exclaimed with a bright smile )

Neetu Di : Now my turn ......

Rita Ma : No ....... I need to finish giving you guys before you start with the raucous.......

Neetu Di : Ma ......

She was about to say further when the door bell rang .....

Getting up from her seat Priya rushed to open the door ......

Raghav : Did anyone miss me ?

Sana : I did bhai ....

Riya : Me too .......

Akshat : I missed you a lot papa ......

Raghav : I missed you too my baccha party ......

Raghav came inside the livingroom and bend down to take blessing from Rita Ma ......

Raghav : Happy Diwali Mom .....

Rita Ma : Happy Diwali baccha ....

Raghav : Here this is for you ..... ( he gave a box to Rita Ma )

Rita Ma  : You need not do that ......

Raghav : I wanted to .....

Rita Ma  : Let's continue exchanging our gifts .......

Each one of the elders gave the others gifts and soon it was time for Sidharth and Shehnaaz to give gifts to their family members .......

Sid : Well .....

Sana : Here Ma ..... this is for you ......

Rita Ma : This is so beautiful  ( she said smiling looking at the saree as well as the photo frame she got in the box )

Sana : Raghav bhai ..... this is for you and di ......

Raghav : Thanks ......

Sana : Here this is for you and bhai .....di

Neetu Di : This is magnificent......

Sana : I'm glad you liked it ........

Neetu Di : I'm sure you did all the shopping right ?

Saying the words he left the living area and went back to his bedroom ......

Rita Ma : Leave him ..... Priya you have told your husband to come and have dinner with us at night right ?

Sidharth and Shehnaaz  were both getting ready in their outfits when Shehnaaz spoke ......

Sana : Did you forget to get a gift for me ? ( She said with a pout )

Sid :  Uh......

Sana : It's okay.....

Sid : You know that I didn't even got gifts for the others ......

Sana : Hmm.....

Sid : I forgot....... after all I was too busy with the shooting .....

Sana : I get it .....

Sid : You could have just bought something for yourself .....

Sana : I didn't want to ......

Sid : You are just acting like a child ......

Sana : Leave it .....

Sid : Tell me what do you want I'll get it for you .....

Sana : I just want to spend some time with you today .......

Sana : By the way ...... I was just curious but are you going to join the family ceremony wearing such extravagant things ......

Sid : No....... I have to attend a Diwali party tonight .......

Sana : When are you leaving .....? ( She asked in a sad tone)

Sid : At 7 after all I need an hour to reach there ......

Sana : But we have Puja in the house .......

Sid : I have to go and that's important ......

With a disappointed look on her face she she finished  doing her hair before coming out of the room and helping the others to do the final arrangements.......

Rita Ma : Beta where is Sidharth ?

Sana : Uh.... Ma ..... he .....

Neetu Di : The priest is downstairs ....... the Puja is about get started in a few moments then where is he Sana ...?

Sana : Umm di ..... he ....

Neetu Di : What ?

Sana : he went to a Diwali party .....

Neetu Di : Isn't he the one who was so excited to get married to you then what happened to him now?

Sana : Di .....

Neetu Di : Leave it ..... after all he is a huge star .....

The Puja commenced in  few moments just after the priest arrived ....... Nikita and her family were already present there and talking with the others while the Puja came to an end .....

Rita Ma : Pandit ji ...... here have some tea while you find a date for the wedding to take place......

Priest : Thank you Mrs Shukla ...... Well I have already found a date after learning about both the bride and the groom's horoscope......

Neetu Di : That's fantastic but we need some time to arrange everything so a date which is within the range of 5 months is good .....

Priest  : Well you are right daughter after all the best date for both of them to get married would be on 12th of February next year .....

Priest : That's a very auspicious day and I hope it's upto your liking. ......

Nikita : It is ......

Rita Ma : Thank you so much pandit ji .....

Priest : It's an honour Mrs Sukla .......

The priest went away after discussing further details about the date and other things that Rita Ma had to inquiry about .......

Riya : Mami......

Sana : What baccha ...? ( She looked at her raising her eyebrows.....)

Akshat : Mami..... crackers .....

Riya : We need to burst crackers ......

Abhinav: That's actually a good idea .....

Riya : It is .....

All the elders along with the kids went up to the roof top for bursting crackers.......

For the next few hours the family enjoyed bursting crackers along with taking a lot of pictures from their phones holding the sparklers ......

It was late at night Shehnaaz was sitting by the vanity removing all the jewellery when the door opened .....

Sid : Baby . ....

He walked inside with a tired look on his face and knelt down infront of her......

Sid : Here ..... this is for you ..... ( he handed her a gift box )

Sana : You didn't need to .....

Sid : I did ....

Sana : But .....

Sid : You know I was so busy with the shooting for the last few days right......

Sana : Hmm....( she nodded her head)

Sid : I completely forgot about  this day .......  I came to know about it after Kaushal called me saying I need to attend the Diwali party .......

Sana : It's okay...... it happens  .......

Sid : No it doesn't ........ It shouldn't........

Sid : I'm so sorry........... baby......

Sid : Here this is for you and I hope that you like it .......

Sana : It's beautiful my love ...... 

Sid : Not more than you jaan ......

He pulled her towards himself and held her nape tight before crashing his lips on hers ......

Moving their lips in a rhythmic movement just like the tune of the ethnic instruments both of them kissed eachother with their everything trying to convey their emotions , feelings and inner desire through it ........

Flashback End....

Shaking her head a few times Shehnaaz looked towards the kettle which she had kept to boil some water for her tea .......

Pouring some in her cup she submerged the green tea bag while picking up a biscuit with her fingers and putting it inside her mouth .....

Sana : I'm too hungry to care about the tea ......

Dunking the tea bag in the cup few times to get every bit of the essence out of it , she threw it in the waste bin before taking the tea and walking towards the balcony .......

The very next morning she got up as soon as the rays of the early morning sun fell on her ...... She squinted her eyes due to the intensity of the light but finally chose to wake up hearing the relentless chirping of the birds ......

Opening her eyes a little she was stunned for a bit not recognising the place she was in untill the rational part of her brain took over her thinking and identified the place as her balcony .......

Letting out a yawn she got up from her place and started massaging her stiff neck muscles with her hand .......

Walking inside her bedroom she took out her clothes from her closet before getting inside the washroom........

Finishing her morning routine she brushed her teeth and washed her face before hopping inside the shower ......

Taking off her clothes she stood under the Luke warm water drenching her whole  body while thinking the way Sidharth behaved with her .......

Shehnaaz was determined that she won't forgive him so easily if he apologised to her this time
......  She wanted to make him pay for his deeds ......

Wiping away her body she wore a kurti along with a pair of jeans before coming out of the washroom and leaving her hair to air dry itself ......

Walking towards her kitchen shehnaaz took out few ingredients to make some poha for herself as her breakfast .......

She was cutting the vegetables when she felt a pair of arms around her waist .......

Knowing who it was she thought about ignoring his existence and continue with her work ......

On the other hand Sidharth got up in the morning and sat up on the bed ....... Squinting his eyes he was trying to find his wife here and there around the room when he saw something .....

It was the plate of food along with an empty glass that sat on the table from last night.......

He remembered the way he talked to her and insulted her calling her a pig .....

Sid : She didn't even have her dinner ( he thought )

With a disappointment lingering in his mind towards himself he walked towards the washroom and prepared himself for the day .....

Sid : I need to apologize.......

Taking a deep breathe he wore his casual clothes and came out of the bedroom just to proceed towards the kitchen ......

Sid : She must be making breakfast ( he whishpered to himself )

But the moment he entered the kitchen he became sad just to find Priya preparing lunch boxes for the kids ........

Thinking that she must be in her own apartment he rushed downstairs by the stairs and used his keys to get inside the apartment.......

As soon as he entered the apartment he could hear the recurring noise coming out of the kitchen........

Shehnaaz could hear him huffing getting bored and ignored ...... Although it was a tough job for her but what's there that can't be achieved through some strong determination .......

Encouraging herself to continue her acting she finished making her breakfast and put it in a plate before taking it to the livingroom ......

Sid : I'm really guilty Shehnaaz ......

Sid : I shouldn't have taken out my anger and frustration out on you .......

Sana : Yup ..... you shouldn't have ..... after all I'm not a punching bag for you to use  .......

Sid : I know I have insulted you yesterday really badly but please forgive me .......

Sana : Nope .......

Sid : I'm really sorry ......

Sana : You should be...... after all you insulted me like anything without any reason .......

Sid : I'm sorry ......... please forgive me ......

Sana : I don't think you can earn forgiveness so easily .......

Sid : Okay then say what I have to do ......

Sana : Spend time with me  and then I'll think about forgiving you ...........

Sid : You know what ........ let's go out for a date ....

Sana : Okay..... There's no promises that you'll be forgiven .......

Sid : That's fine ......

Sid : I'll pick you up at 8 pm ......

Sana : Let's go and have our breakfast after all we need to come home early ........

Both of them finished eating their breakfast with some casual take about work and health before she got up and took the dirty dishes to the sink and started washing them .......

Sid : Give me I'll dry it ......

Sana : That's okay you don't need to ......

Sid : I want to baby .......

The couple shared the duty of doing the dishes before they were off to their work for the day ......

During the whole duty hours she had a giddy feeling inside her making her super excieted and feel a cluster  butterflies dancing inside stomach  while on the other hand Sidharth had a glow on his face he realised his feelings towards his legally wedded wife was getting more and more intense each passing day .......

He realised about her simplicity  just after knowing the punishment she had decided for him to gain her forgiveness....... Well that wasn't actually a punishment for him but a blessing and was  actually giving him a proper reason for getting out of the shooting earlier than he would usually do .......

Shehnaaz was just take a note out of the reports she received just a few minutes ago when the door to her chamber opened.......

Shehbaaz  : Well ..... Well..... Well...... who do we have here ......

She looked up at the man hearing his voice just after he started to speak. ......

Sana  : Baaz ......

Shehbaaz  : How's life motto ....?

Sana : It's good although you don't need to know a thing about me .......

Shehbaaz  : What's the feeling of being a secret bride .......?

Sana : That's actually far better than listening to you guys .......

Shehbaaz : Motto !

Sana : Don't raise your voice baaz ...... you are in my area of controll......

Shehbaaz : Well I just hope that you got back your brains ......

Sana : Well that's none of your reason but it's actually you who has sold his brain not me .......

Shehbaaz  : You  have got a loud mouth huh ........

Sana : I always had .......

Shehbaaz : Well that's beside the point........ you are coming back to Beas with me .......

Sana : No ......I'm  not .......

Shehbaaz  : You remember that you accepted the decision of leaving this marriage as it is on that day . ..... Now you are backing out ....

Sana : I never accepted it ....... It's just that I didn't say anything .........

Before he could sprout any more nonsense she got up from her chair and went out if the cabin to finish her round........

Sana : I don't care anymore ...... I know they are going to try and sabotage my relationship but that's not so easy when l am truly committed in it ....... ( she muttered under her breathe )

It was 6 in the evening by the time she got off work and rushed to get inside the cab she had ordered for just a while back to get back home

Paying the driver the money she owed , Shehnaaz got out of the car and walked towards the building ........

She rushed towards her apartment to get herself ready for the date she was going to have......

Walking inside her bedroom she opened her phone trying to find if he left any clue or not .......

She was scrolling through the messages she received during the entire day when her eyes landed on the text Sidharth had sent her .......

@Sid : Going to some fancy place you can dress as your wish .......

Although she knew that her husband wouldn't really mind if she went on a date with him wearing pjs but she did.........

She ready about an hour and a half later wearing a black dress with black high heels ......

Shehnaaz sat down with her phone to see if he was already here when her phone started to ring......

Phone Call 📲

Sana : Hello love ....

Sid : I'm here baby .....

Sana : I'll be down in a minute or two ......

Declining the call she picked up her purse and placed her phone inside it before locking the door and moving towards the elevator ......

Getting out of the elevator she walked towards his car jut to find him standing there Leaning on the hood ......

Sana : How am I looking ......?

Sid : Like mine ....... You are looking so gorgeous that I want to worship every inch of your skin .....

Sana : And what would you do if I say that you are looking like a Greek God.......

Sid : I'll  say thank you although this Greek God is just yours ...... ( he said with a smirk )

Being a blushing mess she got inside the car with his help before he rushed back to his seat and started to drive the car ......

Sana  : So how did you get off from your shoot so early today?

Sid : Just used some tactics ......

Sana : What is it .....? I want to know ......

Sid : Said that my fiancé will break the engagement if I don't spend few hours with her or most probably you can beat me to death  and thus in either of the situations I won't be able to work for them so I needed to go .....

Sana : Hawwww...... you said I'll beat you to death .......

Sid : What won't you ......?

Sana : Ummm..... May be ..... May be not ......

With a little bit of teasing and laughing they reached a small yet fancy restaurant a little away from the city to get out of the reach of the paps .....

Both of them got out of the car and handed the key to the valet for parking when Sidharth received a call .... 

Sid : Just wait for a bit here ...... The signal is really poor in this place I'll come back in a minute ... 

Sana : Sure go ahead .......

She stood there waiting  for him when she heard the voice she never wanted to encounter again in her entire life ........

Person : Hey baby girl !
