It has been an hour since Sidharth left for the courthouse alone …… She was tensed thinking what might be happening …… Would they try to harass him…? She has been praying to her personal God since the morning just to give some hopes and make them realise that they are on the right path …….

Picking up her laptop from the bed she placed it on her lap and leaned her body on the headboard…… She wanted to get her to mind stop thinking about the court proceedings ......

Taking a deep breath Shehnaaz started to do her work ....... Although reading new lyrics and decoding it and for herself always gave her  a different kind of feeling but this time it didn't hold the power to help her ........

It was more than hour when Shehnaaz was sitting there while the laptop displayed the very same slide on her screen ......... Letting out a audible sigh she shut down her laptop before sliding down to lay on the bed .......

Her mind raced like the speed of light thinking whether Sidharth was okay...... where they trying to drag him through mud even inside the court ......

She was just about to get up and work in the kitchen because as per her predicament only working in the kitchen can give her mind some rest but before she could do that her phone rang......

Looking at the caller I'd she looked confused thinking why was Rita Ma calling her .......

Phone Call 📲

Rita Ma : Shehnaaz come upstairs ...... Preeti is here ...... she wants to talk to you .....

Sana : Okay ....

Saying this she declined the call and hurriedly got out of the bed and wore her sandals before rushing to go upstairs........

As soon as Shehnaaz entered the living room she could feel the tension in the atmosphere ....... The cold air from the centeral air conditioning system send shivers down through her spine the moment her eyes landed on Rita Ma , her eldest daughter Preeti Di and her kids sitting there on the couch .......

Preparing herself for the upcoming storm Shehnaaz entered the room her head held high .......

Sana : Ma what's the matter ...?

Preeti Di : Well I think it's me you should actually need to talk to when I'm the one who asked you to come .......

Sana : Then so be it ....... please enlighten me with the reason why you needed my presence in the room ......

Preeti Di : Did you and my brother go out with my kids .....?

Sana : Yeah ..... we did .....

Preeti Di : With whose permission you took them out ......

Sana : Well we discussed about the outing infront of everyone and no one opposed it .....

Preeti Di  : Was I included in the conversation you are talking about ...?

Sana : No .....

Preeti Di : Then how dare you take my kids out without asking for my permission......?

Sana : I'm sorry Di ...... but jiju gave us permission ......

Preeti Di : Does he identify himself as Preeti Khurana now .....?

Sana : No ....

Preeti Di : Then how dare you ......?

Sana : Di ..... it's just that the kids wanted to go there and both me and your brother were free for the day so we thought ........

Preeti Di : What did you think that let's harm the kids ......... They are soft target of the family after all .....

Sana : That's a really bad accusation towards a person you know nothing about ......

Preeti Di : No darling ..... You can never say that I don't know you after all I'm  the one who's going to burst you bubble of intentions.......

Preeti Di : You are a demons spawn lurking around my family to harm them .....

While Preeti Di was throwing a number of accusation towards Shehnaaz , Sidharth on the other hand reached his apartment complex with his car .......

He stepped inside the elevator and pressed the button to reach his penthouse....... It was lesser than five minutes when the metal box stopped at its destination ......

He opened the door with his key thinking that everyone might be taking some rest and he shouldn't disturb them ...... Sidharth was about to enter the living room when he heard his elder sister spitting fire towards his wife.......

Preeti Di : So what do you say ......?

Preeti Di : Did you succeed with your plan.....?

Sana : Di..... I know we did wrong by not getting your permission before taking the kids out but that doesn't mean that you are entitled to accuse me of anything and everything ........

Preeti Di : I'm sure that if it wasn't for my brother my kids wouldn't  even reach home.......

Sana : Why do you think that I'll harm the kids......

Preeti Di : Oh ..... darling after all every criminal tries to find the weakness of their target and in this case it's my kids ......  

Sid: Di that's enough..........   I don't think you are in a position to actually fight for the kids or try to Claim them as your ......

Sid : It's not like we didn't the permission before going out ....... We took it from jiju and even from mom ......

Preeti Di : You didn't take mine .......

Sid : As if you would have picked my call.....

Sid : Di .... please spare me from these nonsense ......

Preeti Di  : You don't have a right to do anything with my kids ......

Sid : In that case you should take your kids back with you ......

Preeti Di : I have kept my kids with my mom not you ......

Sid : This is my house and you said I don't have any right over them ..........

Sid : You are saying this to the person who actually took care of them all these years .......

Preeti Di : What right you have no on them after all you are not their father .......?

Sid : Cool! ....... I'm outta here then .......

He left the room and walked towards his bedroom .......

Shehnaaz stood there shocked seeing Preeti Di shouting at her husband and denying his right as a maternal uncle.......

She came out of her Trans the moment she saw him leaving the room after saying he is out of this conversation.......

Sana : Di you know I was really okay until now when you were constantly accusing me but you crossed the line the moment you raised your voice against your brother ........

Sana : I know that I'm no one to take the decision on behalf of him but remember from today onwards neither me nor him ........ Neither of us are going to meddle in your family problems ........

She turned around and looked towards his mother who sat there on the couch as if she was struck by a lightening ........

Rita Ma : I know I shouldn't tell this after all they are my grand kids and I would love to look after them but Shehnaaz is right .....

Rita Ma  : Today you denied Sidharth's right over them , may be in the near future you'll tell me the same thing .......

Rita Ma : I was silent the time you accused this beautiful soul of infidelity but you are wrong ....... Don't judge everyone based on one bad experience.......

Rita Ma : When the person changes the actions and the future too tends to change......I know you are a grown up and a mother too , so may be your decision is right for your kids ......

Preeti Di : What do you mean ma .....?

Rita Ma : Nothing ..... but what I said it simply means that take your kids back to your place untill you think we are educated enough or may be eligible to take care of them .....

Preeti Di : You are throwing us out of our house .......

Rita Ma : This is not your house darling ...... this is my son's house and you a guest here ......

Preeti Di : Mom .....

Rita Ma : I said what I said ...... please leave ......

Preeti Di was dumb struck hearing her mother telling her leave the penthouse with her kids .....She was about to tell her mother not to do such a thing but her ego came in between ......

She held Akshats and Riya's arm in both of her hands and was about to walk away when Akshat cried......

Akshat  : Please Nani...... I don't want to go ......

Akshat : I want to leave with Mami......

Riya : Mami please don't send us away ...... We promise not to cause any trouble ......

Akshat : Yes please Mami ....

Sana : I'm sorry Baccha.......

Riya : Mami ...... please keep us with you .....

Preeti Di : what's all these nonsense......?

Preeti Di : You are coming with me and that's all ......

Riya : No ..... we don't want to mom ....... we love to stay here with Mamu , Mami and Nani.....

Akshat : Leave us mom ......

Preeti Di : I'm your mom and you are going to listen to me .......

Shehnaaz walked till the main entrance and stood there until their figures disappeared inside the elevator .....

It has been a day after Preeti Di left with the kids ...... Shehnaaz was a little frustrated and tired after the whole say of tedious work but at the same time angry on Sidharth for not talking to her .......

She finished her  work in the hospital and logged out for the day ..... By the time she got out of the building it was about 7:30 in the evening ........

Shehnaaz was about to call the Uber driver who has been late for the last fifteen minutes when she heard someone calling her ......

Shehnaaz turned around just to find Abhinav standing there ......

Sana : Bhai ...... what sre you doing here ?

Abhinav : Came to grab the test reports ......

Sana : Oh ..... are they okay .....

Abhinav : As much as I can understand they are quite okay ......

Sana : Hmm .....

Abhinav  : Let's go .....

Sana : Umm ..... but my Uber.....

Abhinav: Cancel it after all we are going to the same place .....

Sana : Yeah ......

Cancelling her cab she followed him towards his car .....

Abhinav : By the way the last time we visited the doctor she said that there are more hope than we would ever expect........

Sana : That's really a great news .....

Abhinav : Yeah it is and it's all just possible because of you .......

Saying his words he turned towards Shehnaaz ...... She could feel him getting emotional and his voice shaking while he said that they have hope .......

Abhinav wrapped his arms around her and gave her a small hug .....

Sana : I'm so happy for you bhai .....

Sana : Say thus to Dr Bharadwaj......

Abhinav: Hmm....

Both of them got inside the car and drove to the apartment ......

It was actually the day for Sidharth's movie premiere....... For the last few days he has been really busy with the promotion, interview and stuffs but that much work wasn't really enough to make him forget about the incident.......

How can he actually forget that....? After all he has mentally brought them up like a father does to his children ....... He may be there uncle but that doesn't mean that he loved them any less ....... Both Riya and Akshat were his first children and it really hurt him when his elder sister just denied his right on her kids .......

But what can he do other than accepting it , after all she is the mother .......

All the while till now for the last few days he had been acting to be happy with the fake smiles , he isn't angry on anyone but was avoiding his family members for a while .......

Wearing his blazer which is the last element of his outfit he came out of his bedroom with his stylist .....

Sid : Mom I'll  leave now ......

Rita Ma  : Okay beta .... take care ....

Sid : Hmm.....

It took him more an hour to reach the venue ....... He could see the crowd of paparazzi tying to know who is inside the car while they stood there beside the red carpet.......

Getting out of the car he took some strides on the carpet before stopping for some pictures to be taken by the media.......

Paparazzi 1 : Sir you are looking like a fire tonight ......

Sid : Thanks guys .....

Paparazzi 2 : Why didn't you bring your fiancé sir ?

Sid : She's busy ......

Paparazzi 3: Busy in what sir cheating on you with other men.....?

Hearing that absurd question he looked towards person before saying ......

Sid : Don't say anything you don't know ....

He enter the venue and sat down on the designated seat before taking out his phone and trying to find any new article .....
