That very same day Sidharth's flight got preponed . They reached Mumbai way earlier than they actually would have . Their evening flight got changed to an afternoon one and they had board that only .....

By the time Sidharth got out of the car and walked towards the elevator of the apartment building it was around 4 pm ...... Revising the lined he thought of telling his mom and the other family members , he once again thought about the negative outcome that may happen .......

As soon as the metal box (elevator) reached the seventh floor it felt as if a million years have already passed by ...... Each and every moment felt like an decade for him...... Taking a deep breath he pressed the calling bell button ...... About a minute later the front door got opened by his elder sister Preeti Di .......

Preeti Di : I knew you were coming back today but what's this urgent meeting about huh ?

Sid : Let's me atleast get inside before you start with your KBC session .....

Preeti Di : What's with this ?

Sid : I want yo talk to you all .... That's it .....

The moment he said the words in a high pitched voice his mother Rita Ma shouted from the livingroom , notifying both the siblings to get inside as soon as possible without wasting much time ......

He walked towards the livingroom to find all the family members settled there , even the kids ......

Neetu Di : What's with his family meeting session ?

His second elder sister asked him with an amused look on her face ...... Giving his most annoying smile to all he looked at his mother .....

Sid : You all are having your tea ..... This is not fare .....

Rita Ma : You want a cup as well ...?

Sid : Hmm .....

Rita Ma : Okay then let me go and make a cup for you and in the meantime go and freshen up ......

Sid : Okay Mother India , your wish is my command .....

After a while he returned in the living area to find the other's discussing about different things , like his brother in laws were discussing about their business while his sisters and mother were in different world altogether.......

Sid : Well, what are you guys talking about ......?

Neetu Di : About your bride hunt.....

Rita Ma : Well I already told Sidharth about the match I have already found for him and was just waiting for his arrival ...... I think we should actually go to visit them soon and then finish the engagement ceremony......

Sid : Mom ...... I have something to say ......

Abhinav ( Neetu Di's Husband ) : Bro we are talking about your marriage itself ..... then what do you want to talk about .....

Sid : It's..... important jiju......

Rita Ma : Then tell us ..... Do you like someone and want to get engaged to her only ?

Preeti Di : I don't know about that but we actually need to meet the girl first if this is the case ......

Neetu Di : Same for me mom ..... I don't believe in his choice ......

Sid : Atleast listen to me......

Raghav ( Preeti Di's Husband ) : Okay then you are trying to say that you like someone .

Sid : It's more than that Raghav ......

He answered to Raghav who is actually Preeti Di's husband but more than that he is his friend and his legal adviser ......

He was about to continue talking when Akshat jumped and sat on his lap .....

Akshat : You are going to get married mamu ?

Sid : Kinda ......

Akshat : We are going to have so much fun......

Riya : That's right we are going to have fun .... We'll have to do lots of shopping ......

Sid : That's true we have to but it won't be my first marriage ......

Raghav : OK....... OKAY ! What the heck are you speaking bro ........

He hollered to his surprise .....

Rita Ma : Sidharth what are you telling ...... You are going to get married for the first time then how come you are not at the same time ......

Sid : Mom please let me finish what I want to say ......... and please don't interrupt me please ......

Neetu Di : Then start ...... we'll keep our mouths shut ......

Sid : Well then here we go .......

Sid : We met for the first time 4 years ago ...... I went for the audition of my first movie ...... She was there for the same but for ' The Voice '........
We talked that day but never knew about each other untill I saw her pictures on the internet......

Rita Ma : Okay..... then ?

Sid : She was always in the back of my mind and I wanted to meet her once again but never thought that it will be this unexpected ......

Sid : She is the female vocalist of all the Romantic songs of this movie I'm currently shooting....... Well some miscommunication happened and as a result we actually got married in the Gurudwara for real on last Friday .........

Telling them about the whole story about how they got married and the miscommunications his family was in utter shock , they couldn't even speak ......

Sid : Well both of us believe in fate and destiny specially her and as a result we thought of trying to give this marrige a chance ......

Abhinav : Well that's good but there's still a question .....

Sid : Please do tell .....

Abhinav : We need to meet the girl and talk to her ......

Sid : Sure you can .... Although she lives in Delhi we can just have a video call with her .......

Rita Ma : Okay then you are saying that you want to continue this marriage ......

Sid : Yes mom ....... We have decided to give eachother a chance.......

Rita Ma : Okay then ..... so be it ...... I just want my kids to be happy ......

Akshat : So marriage cancelled?

Sid : No darling it's not ...... But for now just know that your mamu has a girlfriend and the bride hunting session is dismissed .......

Riya : What's her profession?

Sid : Well she's a Pediatrician and a singer as well......

Akshat : Doctor .....

Sid : Yes ......

Akshat : That's fun ......

Preeti Di : Everything is okay but for now please give us some type of biodata of her ......

Sid : Umm..... Yeah .......

Sid : Her name is Shehnaaz Kaur Gill....... 27 year old , Punjabi. She works in Delhi while her family is in Punjab ...... Also she is thinking about shifting here I Mumbai but that'll depend on your decision.....

Neetu Di : What about her family .....? Are they okay with this marriage ......

Sid : Di ...... Her parents wanted her to get married to a narcissistic controlling person and she left from there with her brother ....... He knows about the marriage and is a little skeptical but will do anything for his sister ......

Rita Ma : So you are going to announce about your marriage .....

Sid : Mom you know I like my privacy and that's the reason why we decided to keep it low for the time being and we are going to do the engagement or may be just the photoshoot ......

Rita Ma : As you all wish ..... But I want to talk to her ....

Nodding his head he took hus phone out and started to call her ....... The first time she didn't pick up the call , once again he dialled her number and thus time she received the call ......

The moment he heard her voice , he knew something was wrong..... She was so happy in the morning then what could have changed within few hours...... He started to calm her down when he heard the male voice and the other person claimed to be her would be husband ...... For a slight moment he thought his world shattered into pieces........ He found that the call had already ended so once again he called and this time he heard her running and huffing to catch some breathe while there was a faint sobbing sound came along with it ......

He advised her to call the police but she was panicking at that very moment and said she didn't have much time ...... Taking his mother's phone from the centre table he called the delhi police and informed them about the incident while he could still hear her scream .......

Sidharth felt as if someone had pierced a hot knife in his heart ...... He felt like screaming and saving that girl who was trying her level best to save herself from that person ...... He felt as if he was a failure as a husband ...... He couldn't even save his wife ....... Soon he once again heard her scream due to pain .........

Sid : FÜCK !

This time he couldn't stop himself from cursing out loud even when his family was with him ...... But then the very next moment he heard her screaming for help and he could heard the murmering of the people ...... Although he was a little assured that the man couldn't hurt her anymore but still he was waiting for the police ..........

After an hour he received another call from her after the call ended and this time the person on the other side was a male ....

Officer : Well I'm officer Chaturvedi and we went to the spot ......

Officer : Sir ..... We had arrested the person and madam is sitting in the police station with us .....

Sid : Thank you so much for the help officer .....

Officer : Sir she seems to be really weak after all the abuse she has endured ...... Our doctor has already checked her but she refuses to talk ......

Sid : Hmm .....

Officer : Sir you need to reach the police station and take her with you...... Well we need to file the FIR and take her statement as well .......

Sid : Sure .... I'll be there as soon as possible ..... please don't let her leave from there .......

As soon as the call ended his family members looked at him with a questioning look on his face ......

Sid : Mom ...... I think the man whom she was about to get married attacked her...... He has beaten her and she is scared now ......

Rita Ma : Oh ......

Sid : I..... I need to go .......

He jumped out of his seat and ran towards his room , taking his essential things and changing hid outfit he took his duffle bag and ran towards the main entrance......

While tying his shoe lace he head his sister speaking......

Preeti Di : Wow so much drama for not wanting to talk to us .....

Ignoring her he left the apartment and soon reached the airport once again ...... He enquired on the desk and came to know about the latest flight to Delhi from there ...... Buying a ticket for himself he ran through the sea of people to reach the boarding gate soon ......

While he sat there in the flight his mind was racing as life he was Usain Bolt trying yo get his gold Olympic medal ........ He couldn't imagine how terrified she is after what happened to her just an hour ago .....

Closing his eyes for a while he sat there silent with his seat belt on whole he wore a black mask and a bucket hat with it to save himself from his fans at this moment......

About two and a half hours later the flight landed in Delhi Airport..... He rushed out as soon as he could and took a cab to the police station ..... The moment he entered inside he removed the hat but not his mask .....

He walked towards the waiting area to find his wife , he was directed by the constable till they reach the entrance of the room ......

Sid : Darling..... see I'm here with you .....

As soon as she heard his voice , she sprung up from the wooden bench and hugged him while her tears once again started to fall down her eyes ...... She wept hysterically on his chest ..... He knew better than trying to stop her at that moment......

She couldn't believe that her brother was such a person that he can even beat his elder sister one day just because she didn't wanted to get married to a abusive and narcissistic person ...... What an irony right?........

Few minutes later when she was a little calm he broke the hug and lifted her face so he could look at her and talk ..... He could see the slap marks on her cheeks , busted lips , cut on her forehead ..... He could analyse that there were much more than he could actually see or know from the top ......

Sana : Sidharth...... She whispered.....

Sid : Yes ... darling I'm here .... See I'm here .....

Sid : Won't you talk to me sweetheart?
