Taehyung's POV

"Mr. President, the meeting with the prime minister has been rescheduled for next Thursday morning." My assistant says on my speaker as it resonates throughout my office.

"Okay." I say, writing it on my desk size calendar under my arms.

"Is there anything that you need?"

"No, that will do. Thank you."

I end the call, sighing in relief. I really did not want to go to any meetings tomorrow. I work myself to the bone everyday running this country. I love what I do, and I love the people that I do it for. I work my hardest to do what's best for my people. Are there people who dislike me and what I do? Of course there are and that's okay. Not everyone is going to side with me and the decisions that I make. I have to do what I feel will be beneficial for us as a country, and leave things in one piece for my predecessors.

I grab my cell phone from my desk and unlock it. I open an app called For You and look at the woman on my screen. I swipe left on some women and right on some. A few that I swipe right on and match with, I look at their profiles. I don't mean to be picky with who I want to have connections with, but I have to. For safety and privacy purposes. I want to find a woman that I can call my own and hopefully one day, my wife. Running the country without a lady to keep my head sane is rough. My vice president and his wife have a relationship I can only dream of. All I want is that for myself. And I am determined to have it.

As I continue swiping on different women, I come across one that makes me pause my movements. Her name itself catches my attention and the photo she chose is one that I find quite interesting. She is standing in an art museum in front of a very intricately drawn piece of an abstract sky. I know what it is because it is my favorite piece in my favorite museum. I swipe right and it's an instant match to my pleasure. I softly smile to myself as I message her.

Me:
Hello 🙂

For some odd reason, I'm hoping that she messages me back. I can't explain the feeling, but maybe that's because I have been feeling quite lonely recently. I have no wife or children and I am the president of an entire nation. This would be any bachelor's paradise, but I don't want to have all this success with no one to share it with.

With my phone vibrating in my hand, I quickly scan my messages to see that I have a message from someone else. I ignore it for now, locking my phone and leaning back in my chair. I take a look around my office, deciding to leave. My work for the day is done. I grab my phone and leave the office, locking it up. I make my way down the halls of the huge mansion like building and come into the residential quarters.

Going into my room, I lock the door behind me as I slip out of my suit jacket and loosen my tie. My shoes are kicked off and I'm falling into the soft confines of my mattress. The next day will be a free day for me, thanks to the rescheduling of my meeting. I will definitely be lounging all day. There's a small knock on my door and I groan, signaling for the person to speak.

"Sir, it's Cadence." The woman speaks. I will myself to get out of bed and trudge my way to the door. I open it and am met with the bright eyes of my residential assistant. "Good evening, Mr. President. Just stopping by to see if you needed anything."

"Is dinner being prepared? I'm a bit hungry."

She nods. "Yes, sir. Chef Dominic has prepared steak and potatoes. I will have someone send it right up."

"Great, thank you." I nod about to close my door until she speaks again.

"President Kim?"

"Hmm?" I simply hum.

"I, um." She begins. "Have you met anyone yet?"

I sigh, softly shaking my head.

Her eyes soften as she shoots me a kind smile. "You'll find someone soon, sir. Don't worry."

I give her a relaxed smile and she turns on her heals to leave. Cadence has been my assistant since I was a mayor. She's loyal, so I've kept her around. I've even admitted to her that I'm looking for someone. Her children even call me Uncle President. Because of our closeness, she became my assistant at home instead of work.

I await my dinner, which arrives within minutes of Cadence leaving. While I dine, start swiping on my phone once more. Multiple vibrations of my phones notify me that I've matched with multiple women and have received a few messages. One message catches my eye and I am very pleased with who it is from. It didn't take that long for her to respond. I open the message, sighing in relief that it really is the girl in the museum.

So I'm gonna give it to him!

Just like my other stories, things will start slow. But this will have short chapters & pick up rather quickly I hope because it's gonna be hella smutty. So stay tuned! 😊
