(❤️🍺Osomatsu's POV🍺❤️)

Today is October 5th, 2023, and everything's normal. Our parents are eating lunch as we sextuplets lazed in the living room.

"I'm so bored! I wish there was something to do," I thought. At the corner of my eye, I noticed a magazine. All I could see was a picture of a family having fun together as they were going on a trip. This immediately triggered a memory of when the family went on a road trip to Kyoto, and then I realized that we hadn't taken a road trip in years, so that's when I got an idea.

"Hey, guys, I've got a plan, but I need your guys' help," I instructed.

My 5 younger brothers all sighed in annoyance since most of my ideas were either stupid or dangerous. The third eldest, Choromatsu, or as I like to call him Fappymatsu, was the most irritated.

"*Sigh* Okay, what's this "plan" Shitty eldest?" He asked.

I was about to explain my plan
until I realized what he had said. That made me give him a death stare.

"Well, Fappymatsu, I was thinking that maybe we could go on a trip with Mom and Dad for once," I responded.

My brothers looked at each other and then back at me with confusion in their eyes.

After a moment of silence, Karamatsu said, "Woah okay, so one of our most selfish, careless, ignorant Bruazas is suggesting a trip with the whole family?"

I gave an awkward smile and replied, "Um, yes? What's wrong with that?"

He opened his mouth to speak, but he quickly closed his lips before saying anything.

I knew what they were probably going to say, so I just blurted out my thoughts "Okay, I know what you're going to say, but we haven't had a road trip together in years, plus we have nothing better to do."

"Well... that is true," Ichimatsu stated in his monotone voice, "but I don't think Mom and Dad would be up for it," He continued.

To be honest, I was surprised that Ichimatsu said something because he usually just stayed silent. Anyway, my brothers and I kept going back and forth, debating if we should go or not. We all took a vote, and four of us wanted to go while the rest didn't, so the only thing we had to do next was to get Mom and Dad on board.

After a bit of stress and anxiety, we all walked into the kitchen as our parents were finishing their lunch. They noticed us immediately and asked us if we wanted to eat anything. We shook our heads no, but we told them that we were going to have a family meeting. They seemed suspicious at first but went with it anyway.

"So, what do you NEETS need?" Our father asked as he crossed his arms.

"W-Well, um... O-Osomatsu nii-san, it was your idea, right? S-So, why don't you tell them?" Todomatsu stammered.

"Huh? O-Oh, right..." I began with hesitation, "I was thinking that maybe we could go on a road trip?"

Jyushimatsu decided to join in the conversation and added, "Yeah! It'll be so much fun!"

Our parents looked at each other and then back at us. We were sweating bullets as we waited for their response.

Mother started to hum, "Well, it has been a while since we've had a trip as a family."

"That's true, so why not?" Father responded.

I thought I was dreaming because they'd never agreed with any of my ideas. After that, we started planning the trip and packed our things. Once we loaded everything in the trunk, it was time to get going. The weather wasn't the best, but we didn't pay much attention to it.

[Warning: sensitive topics like car crashes, blood, emotional stuff, and death, so if you don't like that, then skip this entire thing]

When we were at least halfway to our destination, it started to rain, and it started getting harder with every minute. It was difficult for our dad to see if there were other cars, so when he made a turn, we got hit.

I heard the tires screeching, our horrified screams, a crash, and then a long beeping sound. My forehead was bleeding, and everything I saw was red. I looked around, and the last thing I saw was the bodies of our parents. They were covered in debris, bruises, and huge gashes that were flowing with blood. I tried to move towards them, but the pain made it difficult, and after a while... I passed out.

I woke up in a strange room with curtains and a tube in my arm. I tried to get up, but all of a sudden, I got a painful headache.

"Ngh! God, my head hurts." I groaned as I rubbed it. I then noticed that there was a cast on my left arm and a bandage on my head.

"Mr. Matsuno Karamatsu, you're awake!!!" A voice boomed. This made me jump a little until I saw that it was a doctor. Then, that's when it hit me, I was in the hospital due to the accident.

Then, I started to remember what had happened, and I had a million questions going on in my head. Where are my brothers? What happened to our parents? Is everyone okay? I was tearing up because of my fear and sorrow.

The doctor soon spoke and snapped me out of my trance, "Thank God that you're awake now, Mr. Matsuno. Your brothers ar-"

"Are they okay?!?" I shouted as tears rolled down my face.

She looked surprised but then her face turned into a bit of a serious manner.

"Right, of course," She began as he flipped through his clipboard, "your brothers are doing well, but they're still healing, so it'll take some time, as for your parents..."

"W-what?" I asked, but she didn't answer. I asked her again, but he still didn't do a thing. Enraged, I grabbed onto her coat and shouted, "WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR MOM AND DAD?!?!?"

She was startled at first but tried to be as calm as possible and took my hands off of her coat.

"...I'm sorry, but we couldn't save them due to the loss of blood and the number of injuries," She answered, "T-They're gone, Mr. Matsuno."

My heart shattered into thousands of pieces because the people who had loved me and my brothers were gone forever. As I processed the information, I hugged my knees and cried my eyes out. The doctor was trying to comfort me but failed miserably. Soon after, she left the room to get something or someone who would be able to calm me down.

They came back with all 5 of my Bruazas; Osomatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu. I stopped and looked at them with widened eyes. They had stitches, scars, and bandages, and some of them even had crutches. When I saw them, I quickly wiped my tears away but still had a sad expression. The doctor left the room to let us have some alone time.

"So guess you didn't take the news too well," Ichimatsu said solemnly, I just glanced at him. The rest of my Bruazas didn't do anything cause, as you can tell, this wasn't the kind of situation they were used to.

"Karamatsu it-... you se-... we fel- I-I'm sorry, but I can't find the right words." Choromatsu said in a distressed tone.

I put my legs down and took a deep breath. I got up from the bed and hugged them tightly. They didn't say a word, but they hugged me back as tears flowed from their eyes. We were all crying over our parents' deaths, knowing that we'd have to live without them.
