"Look who's back!" Hikaru beamed as soon as he spotted Yato and I walking back to our table. I smiled and slid into the booth back to my previous seat, Yato taking the corner seat next to me.

I look down at his thigh rubbing against mine thanks to his close proximity. I blinked.

Was he sitting this close to me before?

"I brought us some sake." Yato announced, pouring us some into individual shots. I thanked him and grabbed my own, taking a deep breath before downing the drink in one swing.

My throat felt warm as the liquid slowly slid down my esophagus, leaving a tingly sensation behind.

Stupid.

I thought to myself as I poured myself another drink. I threw my head back as I drank it as well.

Asshole.

Repeating the process once more, I took my third shot, slamming the glass against the table. My eyes were blurry with tears from how strong the alcohol was, my cheeks flushed.

Dickhead.

I began to think of all the names I wanted to say to his face. I wanted to tell him off and let him know how much of an asshole he was for making me feel so shitty all the time. For thinking that he has a right to mess with my head this way; putting himself in my life then leaving whenever he pleases. He has no right.

"You okay?" Yato asked, sounding genuinely concerned. I shook my head, giving him a side glance as I smiled.

"Perfectly fine." I lied.

Yato didn't look completely convinced but I looked away before he could continue to interrogate me. Unfortunately, Phichit had a similar look on his face. I simply gave him a small smile and a look that said it was okay that I hoped, he believed, was genuine.

"Just tired from classes." I spoke out loud, letting both Yato and Phichit know I was okay. Although classes just only started less than a month ago, it's never too early to be tired of them.

They seemed pretty content with that and went back to their usual careless selves. Grateful, I poured myself another drink, a bit surprised when Yato slid his own glass next to mine.

I poured him a shot, too and he raised his glass up to me. "To future headaches and unfinished assignments."

I raised my own glass and smiled, "To future sleepless nights and stressful days."

"Cheers." Yato chuckled, drinking his shot.

I laughed at our jokes and looked ahead, my eyes ironically landing on the person who will be the reason behind my sleepless nights. He was siting on a table across the room surrounded by men in suits and even a few women in pencil skirts--no doubt, they are all professors. He was eating some shrimp as a man in the group apparently told a joke and everyone laughed, except for him.

I looked away and focused on Yato then mumbled under my breath, "Yeah, cheers."

Tragically, the next morning rolled around.

And, not so very surprisingly, I was woken up by a grumpy Phichit looming over me. I hissed as the bright light blinded me for a second, and tried my best to focus on what was around me.

"W-what?" I groaned, confused and in tremendous pain from a headache.

"You passed out in the hall, I can't get to the restroom." Phichit explained, jumping a bit side to side. I looked at the door beside me and at the floor I was resting on, wondering how and when I got there.

I dragged myself out of the way and Phichit opened the door before dissapearing into the restroom, leaving me alone to cope with the sad truth.

I was hungover. And no doubt, I was probably late for maybe even a few of my classes.

Straining my neck, I picked up my head from the carpeted floor and looked up at the wall to read the time. Surpringly, my first class was still on--I could probably make it into half of the lecture if I hurried.

....yeah, not a very attractive offer...

By the time Phichit came back out of the restroom, I was still lying on the floor. Frowning down at me, Phichit stopped next to my head and softly nudged my shoulder in an attempt to get my attention.

"Hmm?" I hummed, not opening my eyes.

"You're late."

"I know." I calmly responded back. I heard him sigh before walking away, most likely going back to his bedroom to sleep a few more hours. How I wish I could sleep till the afternoon, too..

I began to search around my brain, trying to peace together what happened last night, but I couldn't remember anything after getting to the fancy bar along with Phichit and the host club members. The rest of the night is a blur.

Whatever happened must've been pretty bad, or impossibly good, for me to have drank so much knowing it's a school night.

Either way, I had to get my ass out of here and go to class. I can't just miss when each class is worth more than my monthly salary.

A few minutes later, I finally got myself up from the floor and began to get ready for a long day of classes.

Approximately thirty minutes after, I had taken a shower, and was completely dressed. I felt pretty uncomfortable for some reason but I ignored the feelings and took a water bottle from our mini fridge and some aspirin from the cabinet. Popping two pills, I hoped it would be enough to help me through the day.

"See ya, Phichit!" I exclaimed on my way out. I shut the door to our dorm and walked down the hall without much thought.

Who knows for how long I had been walking, I couldn't even recall leaving the dorm building, but by the time I was snapped out of my day dream when I heard a voice call my name from afar, I was already walking outside the campus, heading to my second class.

I stopped in my tracks and squinted from behind my glasses, scanning the area until I spotted Yato waving at me a bit ways off. I raised a hand to wave back when I noticed two more people walking a bit behind him.

Yato reached my side and his smile dropped, a worried look taking over as he scanned my face. "Are you okay?"

"Uh, yeah. Still alive, so it's okay." I shrugged a bit.

Yato nodded softly and noticed my eyes continously flickering behind him. Smiling he stepped to my side and pointed at the shorter male who was looking off with a bit of a grumpy face.

"This is Yukine, my roommate. And this is Armin, Yukine's buddy and classmate." The taller blonde male with big blue eyes waved politely and flashed me a picture perfect smile. "This is my new friend Yuri." Yato added, pointing at me. I waved back.

"Nice to meet you, Yuri." Armin greeted me.

"Likewise. I'm sorry I don't look very well, it seems I had a lot to drink last night." Armin waved his hand in disregard, assuring me it was fine. "It's nice to meet you too, Yukine." I added.

Yukine looked at me a bit surprised but didn't respond. He only nodded in acknowledgment, and (it was probably the hangover) I thought I saw him blushing a bit. Either way, it was a good enough greeting for me, I suppose.

Yato hissed from beside me and scratched the back of his neck, flashing Yukine a small glare. I was a bit confused but I didn't ask.

"Well...we should behave and go to class. We'll be late if we don't hurry." Yato mumbled.

"You're right." Armin agreed. "See you around then, Yuri." I waved goodbye and watched Yukine and Armin leave. I gave Yato a confused look when he stayed put beside me.

"I thought you said you'd be late?"

"I did." He smiled, "And we will be if we don't hurry." Grabbing my wrist, Yato dragged me behind him, his legs a bit longer than mine so it was a bit difficult for me to catch up.

That's when I noticed the people that had been walking around us, slowly started to dissapear into their own classes. Suddenly, I remembered.

We were already inside the language building when I stopped, Yato looking back at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Where are you going?" I asked in confusion. Yato pointed behind him.

"Class? We have French class together." A soft 'oh' fell from my lips and he released my wrist, noticing my saddened expression.

I hadn't realized we shared French class. It sure made it difficult for me to leave now. But I had talked to Victor after class and he clearly didn't want me there anymore, and I wasn't going to stand and take his shitty attitude.

"Actually, I don't have--"

"What are you two doing out here?" A deeper voice suddenly cut me off. I looked up next to us at the much taller figure and frowned a bit, unfamiliar with their face.

"Um--"

"Oh, so sorry, they're my students." A new voice coming from behind him jumped in. Victor showed up and stood besides us, putting his hand on my shoulder to my surprise. My body stiffened but I fought the urge to push him off and instead focused on the man in front of us. He looked at the three of us from behind his glasses, not saying a word for a few seconds.

"Very well, then. Please make sure you are on time." He gave me and Yato a pointed look and Yato bowed a bit, nodding.

The man looked behind us and his eyebrows raised a bit, "Ah, Mr. Ackerman!" Giving us a polite smile, the pale man gave us one last look. "Excuse me."

We watched him walk off to the class I remember is Eren's French class. Outside by the door stood a short man in a suit, similar to the ones every professor wears. I swear if it wasn't for that, I would've confused him for a student. And unless he's a very fashionable student, shares the same last name as the professor Eren always talks about, and just happened to have any type of business with a very important looking man, I'm going to assume that he's Eren's French teacher. Also known as his worst nightmare.

What I didn't know was who that other man was.

"Let's go." Victor mumbled, taking his hand I had completely forgotten of, away from my shoulder. I was tempted to walk the opposite way or perhaps make a scene in front of the few people out in the halls, but what Yato said next, stopped me.

"Isn't that the school's dean?" I turned to face him and he was indeed looking at the man who was just talking to us. I quickly checked him out and I concluded it was possible. He seemed perfect for the part. Fancy dressed, charismatic, and the sense of authority all around him.

"It is." Victor mumbled. Both Yato and I turned to him, "Mr. Michaelis. And I suggest we leave before you see the not so polite side of him and we get in further trouble."

Yato nodded in understandment and walked behind Victor, but I stayed put. Victor glanced back at me over his shoulder and for a second I thought he would get after me or at least send me a nasty glare, but when he stopped all I could see was the sadness and pleading in his eyes. It pulled at something inside me and before I knew it, I found myself walking behind them, back to the classroom I had promised myself I would never return to.

Once we reached the class, Victor opened the door for us and Yato was the first to walk in, quickly dashing for his desk. I, on the other hand, took my time to walk in. But before I made it past the doorway, Victor stood in front of me and I looked up, ready to receive some snarky remark or a reminder to keep low. Instead, I was met with a small, amused smile.

"You know..." He trailed off, shaking his head in dismissal before stepping out of my way again. "Um, sorry about yesterday."

I was sort of confused at his actions but I just assumed he was talking about what happened after school and gave him a shy shrug, walking inside, too. As soon as I sat down in my usual desk, the lesson began and Seven leaned in over to my side.

"What happened to you? You look terrible." He snickered.

"Thanks." I replied sarcastically and nudged his shoulder, laying my head down against the desk.

"I can still smell the alcohol on you. Geez, Yuri, what happened?" I sighed, closing my eyes in hopes the headache would go away if I ignored it hard enough. Seven gave up on trying to get any type of response from me and paid attention to the lesson, taking notes that I will later copy from.

My eyes peeled open and I watched the endless surface of the desk, a couple of hands moving as they scribbled down some notes. Slowly, another head joined my sight of vision and I was met with Yato's face from the other extreme. He smiled childishly and I bit back a giggle, my stomach tingling.

+++++

Class ended and I was woken up by Seven as usual. I slowly opened my eyes and sat up, blinking a few times trying to fully wake myself up before standing and walking down the stairs. I let Seven put his belongings away, taking the time to stand up to my feet and stretch a bit, yawning not so discretely.

"Morning, sleeping beauty." Yato teased from behind me. I chuckled, rolling my eyes half heartedly. "I still can't believe you're here after drinking so much last night."

"How much did I drink?" I mumbled, not completely wanting to know the answer to that. I still couldn't remember anything after taking our seats inside the bar.

My eyes glanced over to Seven who was looking at Yato with a bit of a confused look. I decided to introduce them.

"Ah, Seven this is Yato. Yato, this is Luciel, but everyone calls him Seven." They shook hands and Seven gave Yato a once over, a wide smile spreading over his face.

"Love the jersey." He complimented and Yato practically lit up at the praise. I could see sparkles around his face, cat ears protruting from his head in excitement.

"That's so nice of you! I love your hair! And your glasses are so cool!" Both guys were now smiling like idiots, about ready to hold hands and skip away with a new born friendship.

"Glad you guys got along." I chuckled and they joined.

"Shall we go?" We nodded and went down the stairs to leave. On our way out, I couldn't help but glance over at Mr. Nikiforov. Our eyes unexpectedly met and I jumped a bit in surprise. As if that wasn't enough, he raised his hand and waved goodbye, smiling a bit.

Dumbfounded, I only stared until I was out of the classroom, walking down the hall in confusion. As we left the building, I said goodbye to both Seven and Yato as they went their own ways and I headed to my art class.

Like always, Phichit was in his seat, talking to the twins and the class was chatting with each other, having a good time. I greeted the trio and took my seat, pulling out my phone out of habit.

My eyebrows furrowed as a message popped up in my screen.

Unknown: mind dropping by after classes? theres something i wanted to talk about

Unknown? I repeated in my head.

Who the hell is--ohhh.

My eyes widened and my fingers hovered over my screen in hesitation. I heard the professor walk in and I quickly typed a response.

Me: okay
