*Abhay Pov*

Next day she talked normally with me before I dropped her at the café. But I know she was still hurt by the words I said yesterday.

When I walked into my cabin, I saw Shruthi come out of her, but I didn't say anything and entered mine.

After some time she entered and asked, "Did the plan failed?"

"No! It did work." I replied, switching on the computer.

"Then why are you in such a gloomy mood?" She asked, sitting in front of me.

"Nothing!" I replied and started opening the file for our new project.

"Come on, Abhay! I am your best friend tell me." she insisted.

"This is the reason for my mood." I said closing my eyes.

"What do you mean?" She asked, confused and I opened my eyes to see that she is really confused.

"You just pressure me to tell everything to you, and I do as I am used to it. But Usha is getting hurt that I am sharing everything with you." I replied sighing.

"What? She is not the girl who gets hurt just by that. Something else happened tell me." She said getting up frowning.

"I will not tell you because I may be doing wrong again." I said shaking my head.

"I am going to help you idiot, so just tell me." She said and then I tried to not, but I did eventually.

"You idiot! How could you say to her that her plan is stupid?" She shouted at me.

"What?" I asked her shocked.

"I said that the plan is stupid because I don't know anything but you guys know what you are doing and for whom you are doing right? Then why did you tell her that her plan is stupid like I said just because it doesn't look like it is working at that time." She replied and then released a breath.

"She too said the same thing." I mumbled remembering what she said yesterday night.

"Because she is right for god's sake." Shruthi shouted at me frustrated.

"Why are you shouting at me when she didn't even do that?" I asked her confused.

"That's what girls do for the other girls. She is hurt, and I am defending her as a fellow girl." She replied and stormed out of the cabin.

She didn't even help me how to make Usha happy again. So I picked up the phone and sent her five bouquets each with one letter of the word in "SORRY". I selected the nickname she used "Mr.Whatever" this time too.

Hope she forgives me...

*Usha Pov*

"Mrs.Whatever! Can you tell your husband not to become so much romantic that it becomes a punishment for us?" That's what Pallavi said entering my cabin.

"What do you mean?" I asked her confused.

She hasn't replied, but just made the helper boy place five bunches of bouquets on my table. I even saw the letters jumbled so I arranged them and saw that the word is "SORRY."

"Can he be any more romantic?" Pallavi asked dreamily.

"He can be if I don't forgive him now like he wants." I replied smiling.

"Then don't do that. Don't do that for my sake." She pleaded with me, and I laughed at her.

After some time, I called him and asked, "Why did you send these?"

"So that you will forgive me." he replied.

"Hmm... who said I was angry at you?" I asked because I didn't act like I was.

"You are still hurt by our yesterday's conversation. So please forgive me dear wife. If you want I will cook dinner for us today." He replied pleadingly.

"Please don't do that crime. I still want to live you see." I said laughing.

"So everything is normal?" He asked after a few minutes.

"It is! I will meet you at our home." I replied, and we both hung up.

I know she is his friend, and he loves me only, but I couldn't forget the fact that they had a past relation that too so many times.

For now, I will try to forget it and enjoy my life with him. I thought and was about to start my work, but Mr.Raj suddenly entered my cabin saying, "Did she send these many today?"

"Uhmm... these are for me sir. But about whom, are you talking about?" I asked him innocently but I already know the answer.

"No one!" he replied and started walking away.

"Like she said you are really looking good in the navy blue color, sir." I said before he completely left the cabin.

He groaned, but I laughed thinking how I read all the messages she sends actually they are not romantic or anything. Just suggestions or good advices or wishes for the day.

And he still knows only "N" and nothing else. I shook my head and continued to do my work.

*After One Month*

"Hey, are you ok?" Abhay said worriedly entering the washroom when I just held onto the wash basin groaning.

"Yeah! Looks like I got some bug." I replied, washing my mouth.

"Why don't you take leave for today then?" He asked holding me.

"Did you forget today we have meeting? And I need to be there." I replied and started changing into another suit as this got spoiled.

"Ok! But let's just meet for lunch." He said, standing behind me.

I nodded, smiling at him and we both left our home to reach our offices. I reached the office and saw Mr.Raj pacing.

"What happened, Sir?" I asked him confused.

"I want to see who she is? If I don't know that soon, then... then I will block all the couriers from her." He replied.

I laughed and said, "You would never do that sir. They just became your daily routine so it's hard to think you will do something like that."

"We will see! Now tell me are you feeling ok? You are looking a little pale." He said frowning.

"I am fine, sir!" I said, assuring him. He nodded and went inside his cabin, and I went inside mine.

Where is he? I thought, pacing around the café ignoring the looks I was getting from customers and also the waiters there.

I am stopping myself from rolling my eyes at each one of them. I am waiting for my husband is it a big crime or something. I am so hungry! I thought jumping into other thoughts.

"Hey!" I heard him saying from behind me, and I immediately turned glaring at him.

"Where have you been? I am waiting here for the past half an hour just for you. Now I don't even have time to have some lunch." I said still glaring at him.

"I am sorry, Usha! I thought I didn't have any meeting at the time I told you to meet me. But Shruthi remembered and told me when I was leaving the office. I thought I asked her to inform you, but I guess I forgot to." He said.

Hearing his words, my anger turned into something else maybe sorrow. I nod my head and picked up my bag.

"Ok! I need to go." I said walking around him to leave the café.

"Usha! I said I am sorry right. Come on, let's have some lunch." He said, holding my hand.

"I... I need to go. I just took half an hour break, and it is over. We will talk later in the phone." Saying this I released my hand and left the café.

At the meeting, I just sat there lost in my thoughts until I felt some foot on mine as usual. I looked up and saw that he is frowning and mouthed 'I am sorry'.

I nodded and continued to look at the file. I gave my presentation and this time we got the project unlike last week.

"Usha! We have very less time. Can you do it?" Sir asked when we all started packing our files.

"I can, sir!" I replied, assuring him.

"If you want, you can take them to your home and complete them. So that burden will be less." He said, but I looked at Abhay.

"No, sir! I will finish the work at the office itself." I said, and we all walked outside the building.

As usual, when everyone left, we both walked towards the nearest restaurant and had our date. This time Abhay just stayed calm through the dinner.

"What happened, Abhay?" I asked him when we both lay on the bed after returning to our home.

"You don't trust me, right?" he asked me back.

"What?" I asked him confused.

"You don't trust me. When Raj said you can take files why didn't you?" He asked me making me look at him like he is crazy.

"Abhay! We are not going to live our entire life hiding our marriage from everyone. When it comes out, they all may see us as some bad people or may accept us happily." I replied.

"Ok?" he said like he didn't understand the hell, I too don't know whether I said it correctly or not.

"Now if I happily brought the files here and worked. Everything will be fine and then when Mr.Raj knows that we both are already married what if he looks at me like I may have leaked some secrets to you or something." I said frowning.

"So? Who cares what he thinks?" he asked confused.

"I care! He is just my guide and my good friend. I don't want him to think of me badly so I rejected when he himself gave me an opportunity to work at home." I replied suddenly getting frustrated, and I don't even know why.

"Ok! When will we tell everyone then?" He said looking at me nodding.

"When you tell everyone that you are married." I said, shrugging and lay down beside him.

"Then we will do it soon." He said, holding my hand and stroked it.

"We will!" I said, closing my eyes and drifted off into sleep.
