He turned to see that his friend was standing there smiling at him.

V : ' arey Kulkarni , tum ? '

K : ' haan..... Aur tum akele yahan kya kar rahe ho ?'

V : mein bas yuhi aya tha shanti se baithne ke liye

K : ummmm....

Kulkarni settles down beside him

Ab bol kya baat hein ?

V : sach mein ...

K : utra hua chehra, soji hui aankhen .... Koi faida nai chupake

V : bas kisi ko samjhne mein, pehchaan ne mein aur dekhne mein chuk ho gayi hein Kulkarni.

K : kisse bhay ?

V : hein koi, jo bohot uljhi hui mizaaj rakhta hein bilkul nariyal ko tarah

K : jab tu hi bol raha hein nariyal ki tarah toh uss mein problem kya hein ?

V : bas yahi problem hein ..... Ye nai patah hein ki vo kaisa hein andar se, vo insaan ka character kya hein, asal mein ......

K : bas itni si baat ?

V : tumhe ye itni si baat lag rahi hein, Kulkarni? Yeh insaan hein nariyal nahi

K : dekho tumhi sawaal karte ho aur khud hi jawaab dete ho

V : matlab ?

K : matlab ye ki paise de kar nariyal khareedte ho na, iss ummed mein ki vo andar se achha hoga, bohot saara paani hoga, meetha bhi rahega.....

V : haan toh ?

K : par jab usko todte ho tabhi asliyat samajh mein aati hein ..... Mera matlab hein asliyat saamne aati hein.
Bas same formula apnao, insaan ko pehchaan ne mein bhi....
Uski niyat jaanne ke liye usse aisi situation mein dalo jahaan pe uski asliyat saamne aye tab tumhara kaam asaan bhi hoga aur tumhare saare sawalon ka jawaab bhi mil jayega. Samjhe kuch ?

V : haan samajh gaya 😄

K : vaise mein puch sakta hun ye kaun hein jiske baare mein tum itna soch rahe ho

V : hein koi .....

K : arey batao na .... Kya dikkat hein ?

V : "vo.... Meri pallu ke mann mein uska chabbi bas gayi hein ..... Bas uski taykikaat mein uljha hua hun ..... " he answered hesitantly

K : Wah ! Ye toh bohot achhi baat hein vijay

V : par Kulkarni samaaj .....

K : samaaj ko maaro goli.... Aur ye batao, tum kab se samaaj se darne lage vijay....?

V : mein....

K : jo insaan apni mare hue bete ki vidhwa ki zimmedari lekar usko beti ki tarah 2 saal se ghar pe rakha aur saari samaaj se lad liya tha jab koi pallavi ko kosta tha.... Vo vijay darr gaya ? Sach mein ....???

Vijay was looking at him while Kulkarni was reminding him of who he was and showing him the mirror of his own personality.

V : vo...

K : aur ye sab sirf uss hadse ke vaje se hua hein, hein na?

Vijay looked at him quite confused

V : hadsa ?

K : ab mein toh usse hadsaa hi kahunga

V : matlab ?

K : aur nai toh kya...... Vo hadsa hi hein jahan pe iss nidar Vijay Deshmukh ko uski apni phool jaisi beti par shak hua tha ek pal ke liye .....

Vijay was beyond shocked.

How did he know that ?

V : tumhe kaise .........?

K : tum Sulochana ko kachhe khiladi samjhne ki bhool karte ho vijay aur vo bhi hamesha....

He sighed deeply..... Kulkarni had a point. Vijay always took her for small pawn of the chess but she was actually much more to it.

K : mein toh sirf ek hi salah dunga tumhe.... Ki Raghav Rao ko apne nazariye se dekho,  sirf Vijay Deshmukh banke dekho aur vo saari situations ko firse jiyo jahan pe vo maujood tha.....
Paanch minute ke liye sab kuch bhool kar, poori tarah se vijay banke usko dekh, parakh aur fir samjhna......Tab tumhe asli Raghav Rao nazar ayega vijay.

Vijay felt he had a very strong point. He wanted to try it.

He closed his eyes and re-lived every moment where RR was present. He could clearly see the intentions behind every move of Raghav. He could juge him as vijay & understood him well. He felt he was totally himself.

When he opened his eyes, he saw himself crossing that line of ego and anger for his daughter-in-law to understand Raghav Rao. He smiled at this feeling. He took a long breath and exhaled every doubt out of his body and mind. He was feeling light. He was feeling a better version of himself, his real self, the real Vijay Deshmukh, after a very long time.

He turned to his side only to find Kulkarni disappear from his sight. He just nodded his head as if knowing it already where he is.

Only vijay could see this Kulkarni and he always comes to Vijay's rescue to give him, his eye-opener moments. He was always grateful for Kulkarni for that reason. A true friend from unknown galaxy. He feels grateful for that pond, that place, that bench & of course his daughter-in-law, pallavi for suggesting this idea of 'me time'.

🧠 : Ah ! Finally ! You are back vijay

💓 : Why not ? He had to comeback after all it was the matter of his little baby girl ....All thanks to Kulkarni

Vijay smiled at their conversation and said ,

"SO, SHALL WE BEGIN THE GAME !"

Saying so vijay walked past the pond with so many ideas running in his head for the upcoming crazy track he had to direct 😉😉

Deshmukh house:

Pallavi , aai , kaka were talking about the events of the day where vijay entered with hands full of bags

Milind kaka : arey dada, aap aa gaye ? Aur itni saare bags

Vijay : arey aajao sab log .... Garam garam samose hein

Everyone gathered and started enjoying samosas. He joked around everyone , spoke to his children - nikhil, mansi, amruta and Pallavi ..... Shared some nice banter with Milind kaka and Sulochana kaku

Vijay had a completely different glow on his face which was noticed by Sharada. He brought samosas after such a long time. She was getting the aura of old vijay. His smile, his friendliness and his laughter- everything gave a nice vibe to her.

She was smiling enjoying the scene in front of her. Pallavi slowly comes and asks

P : aai , aap idhar kyun ho

S : kuch nai pallu , bas tumhare baba ko aaj bohot dino baad khush dekh rahi hun na toh thoda ajeeb lagra hein. Par mein khush hun, han....

P : haan aai , baba ko aise dekh ke na kolhapur ke dinn yaad aa gaye ....

Vijay looks for pallu and finds her with her Aai.

V : arey Tum dono wahan kya kar rahe ho ?
Aao yahan ..... Arey Sharada chai kahan hein ?

S : arey deva! Bhool gayi ..... Abhi lati hun....

M : arey vahini aap yahan aayiye toh sahi .... Chai ka baad mein dekh lenge

V : beta , aaj na tere haat ki chai peene ka bohot mann hein ..... Tu bana degi ?

Pallavi got a bit emotional on hearing her baba say her 'beta'. He usually calls her so when he is proud of her or has been very happy with her work. She missed it since 4 months and now hearing that stirred her with the emotions.

He demanded her special tea and she was not going to leave this opportunity.

P : Abhi lati hun baba .....

M : mere liye bhi

N, A , M : humein bhi ......

P : haan haan..... Sab ke liye ' pallu ki special chai' 10 mins mein hazar hogi

Everyone beamed whereas vijay looked at the face of his daughter-in-law which happily lit when she heard him say 'beta'

Her expression was worth his wait !!!

The retreating figure of pallavi towards kitchen made him realise that she was the jaan of his house and this was possible only because of that special someone which he denied giving any credit.

V : thank you Raghav he said in a very meek voice so that no one heard it.

💓 : Of course ! He has to be ! Because he thanked that one person who is very genuine to his daughter-in-law!!
