Here I go !!

Title : The nightmare

"Rao !!!! " she shouted waking from the bed . She was looking around the room for him only to find a dark pitch room . She was sweating very badly and was huffing for air . She looked up to fan which was rotating . She realised she was in her room and it was NIGHTMARE . A horrifying dream . She tried to calm herself down . She switched on the bed lamp and gulped down a glass full of water in a go.

She was horrified. It was not first time she had nightmare but today it was about him. She was worried for him. The last time she saw him in blood , she was shocked . She took him to home to treat him , he was bleeding , he was unconscious, he was in pain .

Though she treated him forgetting everything that was between them, in that moment , she wasn't expecting one more person to die in front of her . She was scared that day . Her mind haven't forgotten the incident yet . Today the NIGHTMARE scared her to imagine him in that position again.

Tears were forcing to come out of her eyes. The thought she might loose again was horrifying

The racing heart was not coming down . She thought of calling him and she picked up her phone only to look at screen and notice that it was 2 am . Heart said go for it but brain said don't . She had to listen to her brain and thought not to disturb at this hour because if she calls him up , he will definitely come down to her at any hour of the night. Changed equations , she thought . So she decided not to call him

She tried to calm herself by taking out his coat from the cupboard and slowly slided her arms into the sleeves. She caressed the arms of the sleeves and hugged herself through the coat taking in all the warmth from it. Her racing heart was slowly calming down and she was feeling better.

Don't know what comes over her mind to use his coat to calm her nerves .
His effect !!! Her heart answered and she blushed a little .
Damn his effect . She definitely has to slowly get rid of this habit, she thought .

" Rao !! Kab jaoge Tum mere dimaag se ... Ya fir shayad mere dil se ..... "

She sat on the couch and starred the moon from the glass window of her room. Sleep was very far from her eyes. His smiling face was her constant reminder whenever she looks at moon. She was slightly smiling trying hard to push her negative thoughts after the nightmare . After a long stare battle between her and the moon , she fell asleep on the couch.

Morning rays fell on her . She woke up and looked up to clock and it was 5 : 30 am . She found herself on couch and looked at herself. She smiled and slowly removed the coat and placed it in the cupboard. She then moved on to get ready for the day.

At Deshmukh emporium :

Krishna and Pallavi opened the store and started their work . Krishna noticed that she was not being herself and was lost in some thoughts . Krishna was constantly calling her to bring her to reality in many situations. Finally she decided to ask her what was the matter with her .

Krishna (k) : Didi , kya hua aapko ?

Pallavi (p) : kuch nai krishna . Mujhe kya hona  hein ?

K : nai didi , subah se dekhri hun aapko , aap khoyi khoyi hui ho .... Kuch teekh nai lagra hein , mujhe . Kuch baat hui hein kya ? Kya sochri ho aap !?

P : kuch nai krishna . Kuch hua nai . Kuch nai sochri mein .

K : jhoot mat bolo didi .... Aap kab se mujhse chupa rahi ho baatein .... Kuch kiya hein kya mein ne  ...?

P: nahi nahi krishna. Tum aisi kyun bol rahi ho ...? Kuch badi baat nai hein. Bas kal raat ko bura sapna dekha tha mein ne .... Bas vo dimaag se nai ja raha hein..... Thinking about that incident again

K : kis ke baare mein tha didi ?

P ( answered absent-mindedly ) : Raghav ke baare mein tha

K : achaa ....!! Raaaaghhhhaaaaavvvv sir ke baare mein tha ....... She said dragging his name bit too long 🤭

Pallavi snapped out and realised what she blurted out . 'Ye kya keh diya mein ne' , She thought in her mind and mentally face-palmed herself 🤦. She knew that it only leads to more of Krishna's teasing as it was being done since a week .

Krishna is very adamant in getting the things out of someone however hard they try to hide it from her. And she just blurted out his name . So , there was no point in hiding now.

K : par didi bura sapna ? Hua kya hein ?

P: wahi toh pareshan karke rakha hein mujhe . Patah nai krishna ghabrahat toh bohot hori hein .... Subah se ek ajeeb si bechaini hein .....

K : toh sir ko call karke pucho na didi

P : voh raat ko so raha hoga soch ke nai kari ... Subah dukaan ko aane se pehle kiya tha magar uthaya nai .... Msg bhi kiya tha .... Reply nai diya .... Shayad busy hoga ....

K: ek kaam karte hein didi.... Vaise bhi aapko apne sample collect karne jaana hein na , mein bhi chalungi . Order lelenge aur fir aap unhe dekh bhi leejeyega 🤭

P ( instantly ) : ha .... Ye achha idea hein krishna ... Chalo chalte hein .

Krishna smiles and leave to RR Mansion along with pallavi.

RR Mansion :

Farhad : Reddy , jaldi doctor ko phone karo ..... Anna ki tabiyat kharab hein .... Jaldi karo

Reddy : Ji Anna

Just then pallavi and krishna enter RR Mansion and see servants roaming here and there ..... Pallavi stopped one of the servants and asked

P : kya hua hein ? Aise kyun bhaag rahe ho ?

Servant (s) : vo Anna.... Anna ....

Pallavi face fell listening to the word 'Anna' from the servants mouth while he was panting and all her fears were brimming up in her head .

K : arey arey , emaindi ? ( In telugu what happened ) enduku ala bhaya padutunnav ? ( In telugu , why are you anxious ?)

P : bolo kya hua Raghav ko ? ( Fear clearly reflecting in her voice )

Servant started crying  and said ‌, ' vo Anna ko...... Vo..... Vo.... '

P : han .....han ..... Bolo ......

S : ' vo ....Anna ko attack aya hein , fir se '

K : kya ??? ( In shock )

That's it !!! Pallavi heard the worst !! Her worst nightmare was here !!! Her dream !! The things she was holding in her hands fell down in a thud , alerting people around her - krishna , servant and Harish , who was passing by.

She felt as if her heart just slipped down and was benumbed by hearing the sentence . The whole world froze for her   and she was unable to contemplate things . Her throat was dry , her eyes unclear due to tears , her hands shivering out of fear.

Krishna , servant and Harish saw her condition and felt very bad. They could clearly see the fear in her eyes .

Harish (H) : pallavi ji .....

She did not respond

H : pallavi ji ..... With teary eyes he called her

No response from her side

K : didi ....???

Still she stood without flinching a bit

Krishna and Harish looked at each other in horror . Krishna then held pallavi by her shoulders and shook her by loudly saying

K : DIDI ......

only then pallavi got back to her senses and saw krishna and Harish .... She quickly held harish and asked

P : Harish ......Ye .... Ye ..... Ky...a... Hein .....?

H : pallavi ji vo Anna ko .......

P ( shouted ) : FOR GOD SAKE ,  BOLO HARISH , RAGHAV KO KYA HUA HEIN ....???

Listening to hear voice , Farhad ran out of RR's room and saw her . He saw her holding harish and questioning him with tears and fear in her eyes .

Poor Harish was not able to convey her as he was crying too....

He ran to her and said , " vahini ? Aap yahan ? "
 

Pallavi turned her gaze towards Farhad and moved towards him .

P  : Farhad tum to bolo ..... Ye sab jhoot hein ..... BOLO FARHAD ..... ( Stressing the last words )

At that moment , Farhad felt very bad to see her in that state and wanted to lie but he chose to speak the truth .

F : Ji .....vo .... Anna ko attack aya hein fir se , toh doctor bulaya hein .... Vo aa rahe hein.....

P : kya ???

F : ....ji.....
      Aap .... Teekh ho na .....
      Aap shant ho jaiye ..... He spoke

He made the servant bring her water and asked harish to stop crying

Pallavi couldn't believe what she heard and even after Farhad confirming her about the news, she was unable to take it . It shook her to the core .

F : aap yahan aayiye ..... Baithiye .... He held her by shoulders

Pallavi returned to her senses when he held her and looked at him teary eyed  . Without any second thought, she ran throughout the hall .

Farhad was surprised by her sudden move and was shocked to see her running . Harish and krishna were equally shocked .

All the three froze due to her reaction
They couldn't BELIEVE that pallavi was running madly to reach the stairs .

K : DIDI ..... She shouted

Farhad signalled her to stop and said , " nai krishna jaane do unhe .... "

Krishna and Harish looked at him in shock after listening to his words

H : " ye aap kya bol rahe ho ?"

F : " Han Harish....... Iss waqt , Shayad anna ko unki zaroorat zyada hein .... " Answered with an unknown grin on his face , through the tears which he was trying hard not to let them down .

Pallavi  was frantically climbing the stairs to reach him . She ran towards the door only to stop herself in her tracks ......

Only one word came out of her mouth at that moment

" Rao !"
