Hello people ! Back with an update !!

Title : The Other side

The knock on the door of pallavi's room makes her to compose herself. She opens it.

P : " tum ?"

There stands a young man in front of her with two bowls of ice-cream.

N : " haan didi, mein "

P : " Nikhil ? Itni raat ko ?

N : " adhi raat ko ice-cream khane ka mazaa hi luch aur hein, kyun didi ?"

He comes in after she allows him to step in. He looks at the condition of her room.

N : " ye kya hein didi ?"

P : " woh .....mein... "

N : " thaki hui thi, so gayi, isi liye kuch nai kar payi .... Yehi bologe na aap ?"

P : " arey deva ! Aisa nai hein nikhil !"

N : " fir kya hein didi ? 12 dinn hogaya hein jhagde ko aur aap toh aise behave kar rahe ho ki 12 janam ho gaye hein...."

P : " nikhil ! Kyun chedh rahe ho baat ko aai baba ki tarah "

N : " kisi ko himmat nai hein aapko puchne ki aur mein toh bhai jaisa hun na aapka toh mujhe nai bologe kya aap ?"

P : " kuch hua nai hein, MUJHE "

N : " toh fir uss dinn utna saj dhaj ke nikli thi na unse maafi maangne aur apne dil ki baat kehne ke liye ..... "

She was shocked to hear those words from him. She looked at him with utter shock.

How did he know that ?

I never said anything about this issue to anyone, then how did he ?

Was it so evident to everyone in family ?

Or am I dreaming about what he is saying ?

N : " didi ?"

P : " tumhe kaise patah ..... Ye .... Sab ?"

N : " uss dinn......

Flashback :

After krishna advices her to think about what raghav rao means to her. She starts crying sitting there.

P : " ye mein ne kya kar diya .... Raghav par chillana nai chahiye tha... Mujhe vo kuch bhi keh diya vo uski chinta thi, gussa tha, parwah tha aur pyaar tha..... Pyaar ?"

She realised what she said. She was so overwhelmed to say it all by herself that he loves her and that equally means she loves him too. Tears made their way down her cheeks and she was smiling in between.

" Vo mujhse pyaar karta hein ? Aur mein ? Kya mein usse pyaar karti  hoon ? "

" Yeh sapna toh nai hein na ?"

" Mein apne dost se pyaar karti hun ?"

She had flashes of all instances where he was more important to her than anyone or anything for that matter.

She had tears of joy on knowing all these days she was just falling for this man called Raghav Rao, who made her stand for herself, boost her to work more, helped her in situations as a friend, one of the biggest support systems of her life.

Pallavi realised her love for Raghav Rao

" Aye deva ! Ye kya hogaya ?

  Mein toh.....

Mein toh tumse pyaar kar baithi Rao "

A person who was standing there listening to all these things since their fight was none other than Nikhil.

He was the one who had his doubts on raghav and Pallavi's relationship because everytime she speaks about him, there was a spark in her eyes. And Nikhil being the younger one, did not question her and silently listened to her everytime.

But that day when she was talking to herself  realising her love for RR, he just smiled. He was very happy and just left the place in happiness.

Next day he saw her getting ready in front of the mirror. She was wearing a bright saree unusual to her regular ones. A bright smile on her face made nikhil believe in her feeling of being in love.

After his dada's ( brother in marathi ) death, he never saw her beam with so much happiness and joy. He, who was silently watching her from the entrance of her room wished for her happiness to be intact forever. He knew Raghav Rao was a very special male in a society of stubborn males. Hence, nikhil was sure that pallavi will find her happiness in him for sure.

On thay day, he pulled her leg for being so pretty in her new saree. She blushed but hushed him off. But the way she returned home was very disturbing. He could see a devastated pallavi with all her sadness returning to her body.

She did not speak to anyone and from that day, he saw her again in the same old form - just breathing in that lifeless body.

He gave her time but when he came to know that aai and baba tried to fix her marriage with RR, her reaction made him think that there was something to the matter which she was hiding.

And today when he heard her saying, " mein uss insaan se pyaar karti hun jisne...." His doubts were confirmed that she was hiding something very big.

When she rushed back to her room crying and saying, " mein iss sach ko apne hi dil mein dafna dungi .... " , He was pretty sure it was related to her past.

P : " tumne sun liya tha uss dinn mujhe ..?"

N : " haan didi vo mein aapko ye batane aay atha ki milind kaka aur mein kahin jaa rahe hein, isi liye aapka diya hua kaam nai ho payega .... Par .... Mein ne toh, uss dinn, itni meethi baat suni na ki dil aur aankhen dono bhar aaye ..... Aapse mile bina hi chale gaya tha. Ye baat toh mein bhi maanta hun ki aap dono ek dusre se itna pyaar karte ho ki aap log dono ke bina jee nai paa rahe ho .... Dekho apne aap ko, kaise ho gaye ho ?"

P : " aisa kabhi nai hoga ..."

N : " par kyun didi ? "

P : " tumhe nai pata uss dinn kya hua ?"

N : " shayad aap teekh keh rahi ho par aapke dil mein jo baat aap dafna ne ki koshish kar  rahe theiy, usse toh ye pata chal hi gaya hein ki, kuch na kuch zaroor hein aapke past se jo aapko aage badhne nai de raha hein ..."

Another shock to pallavi. He even listened to her when she was crying in her own room.

She was wrong to think that nikhil was younger. She didn't realise that he was grown up to understand someone's silence.

P : " ye sab...."

N : " itna bhi chota nai hun, ki aapke ankhon mein pyaar aur dard na dekh paaun "

Pallavi put her palm on his cheek and lovingly caressed him thinking of how proud would his brother feel, if he would have been alive now.

That last thing brought her back to reality.

His death.

She immediately removed her hands away.

Nikhil was surprised by her sudden withdrawal of hand.

N : " didi ?"

P : " kuch nai.... Jao tum so jao ... Raat bohot ho gayi hein"

N : " aur kitne dinn taalte rahoge, aap iss baat ko ?"

P : " patah nai "

N : " toh fir saamna karo "

P : " karke bhi kya faida ? "

N : " matlab ?"

P : " uss dinn jab mein Raghav se milne ghar se nikli thi tab mujhe ek letter mila. Uspe mera naam likha hua tha aur vo letter gate pe pada hua mila tha .....

Flashback :

Pallavi opens the letter and it read,

" Dear pallavi,

I hope you are doing well with your boyfriend Mr Raghav Rao. I would be equally happy if he was as good as you think he is.

The reason for your unsuccessful first marriage was your boyfriend Raghav Rao.

I hope you remember the date Dec 1, 2018.

I knew you have tried so much to know the cause of death of Mr Deshmukh but you never knew that it was a cold blooded murder.

I know you won't believe whatever the letter says but i know you will believe whatever RR would say. Right ?

So come over to shroff hospital to witness the mystery all by yourself.

you can see and hear him say that.

I know you are a seeker of truth so I'm confident enough that you will go anywhere to get the truth.

The words in the letter shook pallavi. All her thoughts drew her to only one date, i.e, Dec 1 , 2018.

She hurriedly went to Jayati Jewelers and asked for Raghav. They said boss hasn't come yet. She tried to reach kirti but her phone was not reachable as she was in flight for her office trip to bangalore.

She tried Farhad's phone but there was no use. She drove her scooty to Mansion and enquired about Raghav. He was not present

She made another call to a landline and recieved a similar answer. On her way back, she found harish. She stopped him and asked about raghav. He said that anna went to a ceremony which is in city outskirts.

She enquired if the place of ceremony is  shroff hospital and harish agrees.

She was scared.

She hurriedly left the place.

She took a cab to the place as mentioned in the letter and reached there.

She enquired in the reception about raghav and found out that he had an appointment with Dr. Bakshi.

She slowly sneaks into his cabin and few minutes later RR and the doctor enter the room. She saw raghav worried.

R : " Dr., What is this nonsense ?"

Dr. B : " the hospital management has asked us to distribute all the old death certificates to their family members. That's why you are called here "

R : " but that person ...."

Dr. B : " it's our responsibility to hand over it to you Mr Rao. We dont have any choice "

R : " okay doctor ! "

He moves to the table behind his desk and takes a file. He takes out a paper from it and brings it back to RR.

Dr. B : " here you go Mr Rao, the death certificate of Mr Mandar Deshmukh "

R : " what ?"

Dr. B : " yes Mr Rao ! The victim of accident was Mr Deshmukh. We ....."

Before he could continue further, a ward boy comes in and informs doctor that some patient was serious. Dr leaves with him.

Raghav Rao and Pallavi deshmukh were in shock to hear that name.

Pallavi slided down to ground and sobbed in silence whereas RR was shaken to the core.

The disastrous incident on the night of Dec 1,2018 was linked to these two people who unknowingly were connected even before they knew each other.

She fell down crying after she revealed the truth of that day. Nikhil could only hold her but not console her. He too was shaken after knowing the truth of his brother's death. He couldn't see the devastated pallavi who was crying very badly.

After a very long time, the two of them sat at the window side in utter silence. Pallavi was dead silent whereas nikhil was lost in thoughts. He seemed to process something. He stroked on to a point. He turned to her.

N : " didi ..."

Before he asked, she spoke

P : " mein ne ye kabhi nai socha tha ki mera ateet mujhse aisa badla lega"

The emotionless pallavi was very scary to look at. She just said those words plainly.

N : " didi ..... Dekho idhar " and he turns her towards him so that she can look at him.

" Mujhe lagta hein ki kuch hein jo humse choot raha hein, inn sab ke beech mein "

P : " kuch nai bacha hein Nikhil.... Sirf dard aur dukh ke alawa "

N : " Par didi !  Aap ek baar puch kyun nai lete ho unhe ki akhir baat kya hein ?"

P : " Ab itna sab kuch suna mein ne, vo bhi khud apne kaanon se, vo kya kam tha jo mein usse puchke aur dard le loon apne dil pe? Nai kar sakti !"

N : " Shayad jo suna aur dekha vo sach hi na ho..... Shayad sach kuch aur ho "

P : " Jhooti tasalli nai dena chahti hun... Na hi apne mann ko aur na hi kisi aur ko "

N : " Didi, ek baar socho "

P : " please Nikhil ! Mujhe akela chod do "

He did not want to drag the topic more. He knew he would get nothing and she would not be able to think in this devastated position. He moves out of her room.

N : " mujhe unse baat karni hogi "

And he walks towards their room.

Next morning : Jayati Jewelers main branch

R : " ye farhad  abhi tak kyun nai aya ?"

Sophie ( s ) : " boss, farhad sir leave par hein"

R : " kya ?"

S : " yes sir !  He has given his leave application yesterday itself"

R : " leave application ?"

S : " yes sir !"

Raghav was confused to hear this.

When did farhad started taking leaves from his job ?

R : " kitne dinn ke liye ?"

S : " sir two days ! "

R : " what ?"

S : " yes sir !"

Raghav was really surprised to hear that.

Do dinn ?

Isse kya hogaya ?

Kahin bimaar toh nai hein na ?

He dials his number and calls him. He was surprised that farhad is not lifting his calls.

Ye ho kya raha hein ?

Just then sophie reminds him of the meeting he has in 5 mins. He agrees and leaves for the meeting

F : " ye karwa diya kirti tumne ?"

K : " kyun ? Kya hogaya ?"

F : " mein ne aaj tak Anna ka call kabhi cut nai kiya hein.... Kya sochte honge vo"

K : " ki ladka badal gaya.... Haat se phisal gaya, bigad gaya ..."

F : " kya ?"

K : " aur nai toh kya farhad .... Unse chup kar kaam karna  hein toh unko batake karnege kya ?"

F : " oho ! Tum aur tumhare baatein ...."

K : " baatein aise hi niklenge jab mein kisi buddhu se deal karri hoti hun...."

F : " kya matlab hein tumhara ?"

K : " vahi jo tumne samjha !"

F : " itna saara kaam kisne kiya, dimag kisne lagaya, ye sab solve karne mein .."

K : " mere sangat mein reh kar itna bhi toh karpaye tum .... Varna patah nai kya hota"

F : " haan....Par itna bhi bhola nai hun mein"

K : " ab kaam pe dhyaan de zara ?"

F : " haan"

K : " uss spy ke mutabik, jo banda usse kidnap karne aya tha vo kisi jail ke baare mein baat kar raha tha .... Aur vo kisi ladki ki awaaz bhi suni thi jab usne baat kiya tha phone pe ...."

F : " mein ne SP sir se baat karwa ke kuch logon ki identification ke liye bheja tha uss spy ko par koi result nai aya "

K : " suno ..... Vo kisi kholi ki baat kar raha tha na .... Shayad uss address pe vo banda mil jaye "

F : " haan chalo .... Chalte hein "

At emporium :

P : " ye krishna fir se der kardi aane mein"

A woman walks into the shop and introduces herself to pallavi

W : " namastey madam"

P : " namastey... Aap "

W : " vo krishna ne mujhe bheja hein"

P : " krishna ?"

W : " haan madam, uski maa ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi thi toh usse medchal jaana pada. Usko time nai mila aapko inform karne ko isi liye mujhe bolne ko bola "

P : " aye deva ! Bappa kare vahan sab teekh hi ho "

W : " usne ye bhi kaha ki vo free hote hi aapko call karegi "

P : " teekh hein. Rehne do ! Aapne mujhe inform kiya vo kaafi hein "

Farhad and kirti reach the place. They enquire about the man who kidnapped the spy on that day. According to the details told by spy about the man, they started asking the local people of that place.

A pan shop owner guided them to a small house which was in secluded part of the lane. It was the last house of that lane and was very dirty.

They slowly walked towards the house with much anticipation in what could be the result of their dare act.

The foot steps of them grew louder for the people inside the house.

P1 : " Yahan kaun aa raha hein ?"

P2 :   " Iss kaminey ne toh kaha tha ki usse milne koi nai aata ghar pe ... Fir ye kaun hein ?"

P1 :    " Bol re .... Kaun aa rahe hein "

P3 :    " Mujhe nai malum .... Sach mein... Mein kisi se milne vala bhi nai tha aaj "

P2 :   " Sach bol ... Varna ek aur garam kadchi padegi, ek dum fresh wali "

P3 :   " Nai nai nai... Please .... Mein sach keh raha hun, maa kasam"

P1 :   " Chod usse .."

P2 :  " Ab hum kya karein?"

P1 :    " Mein dekh kar aata hun "

P2 :   " Sambhaal ke "

The first person slowly walks out of the house from back door and saw Kirti and Farhad advancing towards the main door.

The person rushes in immediately and alerts the other two people.

P1 : " vo log hein ?"

P2 :  " Kaun log ?"

P1 :   " Kirti didi aur Farhad Anna"

P2 :      " Kya ?"

P1 :       " Haan ! "

P2 :      " Unko kaise pata chala ye address "

P1 :       " Mujhe kaise patah hoga "

There is a knock on the door and the first and third person start panicking.

P1 :     "Ab kya karein ?"

P2 :     " Kholo ! "

P1 :      " Kya ? Pagal hogaye ho kya ?"

P2 :       " Jo hoga dekha jayega "

They both reach the door and open it. Farhad and Kirti who were desperately waiting for the door to open, were shocked to see the two people in front of them.

F & K :  "tum log ?"
