Mithran left and they started to prepare dinner. Mithra and Preethi cooked their own talks and Chithra took care of the baby. Preethi had a call from her hostel and told something for which she got panicked.

Preethi- "naan odane kilambanum. iru Mithra vantharen"

Mithra- "enna di aachu? yaar phone la?"

Preethi- "Hostel la en room la oru ponnu iruntha. suicide attempt paniruka poliruku. ipo hospital la sethirukanga. police ku inform panitangalam. ipo enna kooptrukanga, naan poi ennanu paathutu varen di.", She trembled a little.

Chithra- "nee matum nu thaniah poga vendam da.. iru nanum varen."

Preethi- "saringa ma. "

Chithra- "pathata padatha.. chumma visaripanga avlo thaan.".

Mithra (Mami)- "nanum varava ma?"

Chithra -"Kulanthai ah vachukitu nee alayatha.. Avan vantha ingayae iruka sollu, unaku thunaiah"

Preethi nodded. They both got changed and started to the hostel. Nila played with Mithra for sometime. Mithra prepared juice for her since she felt some kind of palpitation. It didn't reduced even after drinking water. She need some strength and so she prepared little amount of juice.

Mithra sat near Nila and attempt to drink it. But Nila playfully fell on her which results in spilling of juice all over her dress. Whole juice dropped on her dress and Nila dress. She glared at Nila and she giggled at her. Mithra can't keep her stern face and giggled with her.

Mithra -"ipo naan juice kudikuratha enna prachanai unaku. neeum kudika matikura enaium kudika vida matikura... ellam kotiyachu ipo santhosama.."

Nila giggled loudly and clapped her hands shaking her head as yes. Mithra lifted Nila, removed her dress and placed her far away to clean the mess.

Mithra (Mami) - "sari, ingayae iru,.", She started to clean the place. Nila took baby steps to reach her. When Nila was about to fell down because of the water in floor, Mithra caught her.

Mithra (Mami) - "Nee, naan sonna pecha ketuta thaan vanatha pichukitu malai koditumae.. unaku puriutha purialaya? angaeyae iru nu thane sonaen.". Mithra lifted Nila and Made her to sat on the other side.

Nila- "mathaen.. amma venum". Nila slowly got up and reached her with her tiny steps.

Mithra (Mami) - "adam pudikatha Nila. enaku vela iruku"

Nila- "amma venum"

Mithra (Mami) - "itha ipadiyae vitutu vara mudiathu", Mithra lifted Nila and Made her to sat on the other side.

Nila- "amma venum, thoooku". Nila slowly got up and reached her with her tiny steps.

Mithra (Mami) -"dress ellam karaiah iruku.. pisu pisu nu iruku.. unna thookina un mela ellam otirum. sonna kelu, pesama utkaru". Mithra lifted Nila and Made her to sat on the other side.

Nila whined and said, "thooku". Nila slowly got up and reached her with her tiny steps.

Mithra (Mami) -"nee ipadi ellam sonna keka maata, iru varen".

Mithra lifted Nila and went to hall. She took a soft stiffened thread and tied it around the hip of Nila on one end. Then she tied the other end on the window. Still Nila is in bare body. The thread had much length, it allowed Nila only till an extend and also the thread around her hip is also not so tight. She tied it just to carry on with her work.

Nila started to cry when the thread didn't allowed her to move as she liked. She started to cry louder when Mithra didn't came.

Mithra (Mami)- " Nila alugatha, naan konja nerathula vanthiruven"

Nila cried- "maaaaa.. maaa ... maaa", She tried to move in all directions but she can't move after an extend.

Mithra (Mami)- " Nila, aluthu adam pudikatha.. amma konja nerathula vanthiruven", She replied to her casually and quickened the work. This is the usual thing she do when they are alone.

Once she cleaned the place, she closed the entrance door and went inside the bedroom. Nila started to cry more as she got feared since she felt like she is alone.

Mithra (Mami)- "papu kutti konjam irunga amma varen", She went inside the bathroom and quickly washed.

Mithran returned the home at that time. He heard baby's crying sound which echos 'maa... maaaa... maaaa', before nearing the house itself. He just ran into the house and opened the door forcefully. Nila is crying badly and trying her best to come out the thread. Since she doesn't know how to untie, She is just forcing her body to move further with the thread. the thread marks are there in her hip. Her body trembled a little when the cold wind touched her dress-less body.

Mithran (Meesai)- "angel"

Nila - "Mithaaa.... mithaaa... .mithaaa " , she extended her hands towards him and cried louder. Her whole face turned to pink and nose become red due to continuous crying. Her lips are trembling and eye are sheading fresh tears. Her eyes are filled with tears and fears.

Mithra (Meesai)- "itho Mithaa vanthutaen", he without thinking much tried to lifted her and Nila cried louder due to the pain in her hip, still the thread is there.

Mithra kneeled down and just cut the thread the next second with his hands. He then throwed the thread aside and examined her hip. When he touched it lightly,

Nila- "aaaahhhh, aaaaahhh" , she cried. He understood that it pains Nila.

Mithra (Meesai) - "Mitha pathukaren, sariah.. ala koodathu.. onum illa, onnum illa", Nila still cried in his shoulder with hiccups. He patted her gently.

Everything happened in minutes and Mithra came out.

Mithra (Mami )- " enna sir, eppo vantheenga? unna paathu thaan iva alugaiah niruthinala.. ipa ellam ore adam, ellathukum ore alugai thaan."

Mithran (Meesai)- "yei.. vaaya moodu di", He almost roared. Mithra shivered and her eyes blurred with tears the next second.

Mithran (Meesai) -"kulanthai katti potutu pora .. unna ellam",

He raised her hand to slap her and Mithra closed her eyes in fear and lone drop fell on from her eyes. He dropped his hand down and took long breathe to control his anger. Mithra slowly opened her eyes in fear slowly when the expected slap is not landed on her cheek.

Mithra (Messai) composed himself and asked, " adikamaten mami. bayapadatha. ippo ethuku kulanthaiah katti potruka? ava ivlo alugum pothu varaama enga pona?". he asked in a stern voice.

Mithra (Mami)- " Pathatama oru marri irunthathunu juice potaen enaku. kudika podumpothu, Juice ah kotita. kodinatha thudaika vida matikura nu thaan katti potaen. dress ellam juice ithoda thooka mudaithunu thaan, thanni vachu thudaika ponen", She said in a horse voice, crying tone.

Mithran noticed her top is full of water. Still Nila is crying. Mithran patted her.

Mithran (Meesai)- " athukunu, ipadi kulanthaiku dress kooda pottu vidama, verum udamboda katti potutu poviah?", The stiffness in his voice is less compared to before.

Mithra (Mami)- " Illa saga, rendu peru dress laium kotiruchu athu thaan avaluku kalati vitaen. vera oru dress podurathuku munnadi hot water vachu thudachu vidanum avaluku illaina udambu ellam pisu pisu nu irukum, poochi kadikum .. naan poi maathitu vantha thanae thudachu vidamudium. ", She said in a comprising tone.

Mithran (Messai)- "inga paaru mami, epadi nadungura nu.. Romba bayanthuta, pathathuku kulinrtha kaathu vera adikuthu ... muthalla poi un dress ah maathu, naan poi thudachu vidaren Angel ku", he said in a normal tone.

Mithra (Mami) -"illa naan thodachutaen ithu pothum. neenga kudunga", Her voice too turned to normal.

Mithran (Meesai)- "tops full ah eerama iruku. ithoda iruka poriah? ithoda kulanthaiah thooka poriah? ithuku mela enna pesa vaikatha.. poi muthalla maathu naan pathukaren papa vaa..", he told in a as usual mocking tone.

She nodded her head and went again to bedroom. Mithran took care of the baby. With warm water, he wiped baby's upper body while playing with her. Nila giggled whenever he tickled. He then wiped the baby with the dry cloth and then covered the baby with another cloth. While playing with the baby, he also prepared juice.

Mithra came there at that time with a pout. Mithran gave her the juice. Mithra pouted and looked aside.

Mithran (Meesai) -"kudi mami. romba thaan panra", he teased.

Mithra (Mami) -"nee adika vantha. en mela kova patta", She started their next fight.

Mithran (Meesai) - "naan unkita kova padurathu, unaku enna puthusa.. Nee thappu panna naan adika vanthaen. Angel ku dress eduthu kudu"

Mithra (Mami) - "Naan enna thappu panen?", She gave him her dress.

Mithran (Meesai)- "kulanthaiah katti potathu thappu illaya?", he made Nila to wore the dress. She still sobbed. They started their normal quarrel.

Mithra (Mami)- "katti podalaina ava elunthu varuva. juice kotinappo kooda ivala hall la urkaravachutu thaan naan thudaika ponen. iva vanthukitae iruntha. valuki viluga paatha. vera vali illama thaan katti potaen.. "

Mithran (Meesai) -"enna vera vali illa? summa katha vidatha.. tharaiah ipove thudaikanum nu enna iruku? kottuna idathula konjam thanni oothi vacha kayama irunthirukum.. nee kitchen kathava sathitu, papa voda hall la irunthirukalam la? Angel luku pasikuthu pola paal kanlanthukitae pathil sollu..", Nila hugged Mithran tightly and mild voice of crying.

Mithra (Mami)- " epadinalum dress la ellam kotiruchulla, atha mathanumla.. ivala vachukitu epadi panuven? dress la kotinatha thudaikama epadi ivala thooka mudium? ivaluku dress kalatitalum en dress la irunthu ivaluku ottatha? ", She started to prepare as per his words.

Mithran ( Meesai )- " Un ariva vachukitu enna panrathunu enaku theriala.. Un mela oru thunda potuka vendiathu thane, papa va thookurathuku.. first papaku thudachu vitu dress mathitu.. nee towel potukita papa va thookalamla.. appo papa mela padathulla... ellam vidu, ippo naan varum pothu epadi vantha? un tops full ah wash paniruka... intha eerathoda nee angel ah thookuviah?"

Mithra (mami) blinked at him for a second and then said, "athukaga enna adika varuviah?". Mithran came to hall with the baby and Mithra followed them with the milk bottle.

Mithra pouted and extended her hand saying, " kudu Nila va ". Mithran gave her Nila and she placed her in her lap.

Mithran (Meesai )- " inga paaru nee katina kayiroda thadatha.. iva skin romba soft ah iruku Mami. kayura avuka theriama iva kayira iluthikita nadaka try panni athu aluthiruku, epadi irukunu paaru .. Romba bayanthuta vera.. Naan varum pothu epadi nadungukitu iruntha theriuma? aluthu aluthu mugam ellam sevanthu pochu ", he said in a soft tone, explaining himself and the thing happened.

Mithra hugged Nila automatically. She can imagine that. She also examined her stomach. She kissed Nila all over her face. Nila is still sobbing a little. Mithra eyes shed tears..

Mithra (Mami) - " Sorry da thangam. romba bayanthutiah? amma vitutu poiteno nu ninachutiah? sorry da.. ini unan vitutu poga maten.. amma va manichuru daa.", A lone tear dropped from her eye.

Nila- "maaa... maaa..", She said fresh tears.

Mithran (Meesai)- "sari vidu daa. athaan naan vanthutenla.. nee alutha thirupi papavum aluva. yerkanave ava aluthu, mooka paaru red colour la iruku", He patted Mithra's back to compose her.

Mithra smiled. Nila looked at both with tear brimmed eyes. Mithran wiped the tears in Mithra's cheeks and then Nila's cheeks. They both looked at Mithran once. Both their eyes shined.

Mithra (Mami)- "Naanga thaniah irukum pothu katti potutu poi thaan ella velaium papaen saga. appo ellam summa than irupa. ipo thaan romba aluthuta.. oru vela ipo ellam neraiah per veetla irukuratha yosichu, yaravathu varuvom nu ethir paathu aluthutae irunthirupalo.. yarumae varalainathum bayanthirupaalo..."

Mithran (Meesai) - "unaku theva illatha nerathula moolai over ah vela pakuthu.. thevayana nerathula shut down agiduthu Mami. athu epadi? ithukunu nee ethavathu follow panriah ? athavathu yoga mathiri.. iruntha enakum solli kodaen", he said in a teasing tone..

Mithra glared at him and started to feed Nila with the milk bottle. Mithran placed his hand on hers. She looked at him.

Mithran (Meesai) - " Angel romba bayanthu poi iruka.. ippo intha bottle paal venam. nee ulla poi Nila ku paal kodu"

Mithra (Mami)- "apuram ethuku saga, enna paal kalaka sonna?"

Mithran (Meesai)- "first-ae enaku thonala.. inum Angel kannula bayam thaan iruku, athunala thaan solren. ellathukum kelvi kekama, poo maami"

Mithra twisted her lips and went to bedroom with the baby. After minutes, Power went off. Nila clutched Mithra tightly while drinking milk due to the fear of darkness.

Mithra (Mami)- "saga..". The next moment Mithran stood near the door with the phone in which the torched is switched on and focused on wall near to them.

Mithran (Meesai) - "Vanthutaen Mami. bayapadatha, nee kathina Angel-um bayapaduvaa.."

Mithra (Mami)- "haan sari sari.. velicham pathala saga. please konjam ulla vaa. papa vum bayapudura.. enna romba iruki pudikura.."

Mithran came inside with a little hesitation and stood facing his back to them. He positioned his phone in a way so that they can get more light on their side.

After a while, Nila slept after drinking milk and the power too came. Within minutes, Chithra and Preethi came.

Mithran (Meesai) - "enna aachu?"

Chithra -" antha ponnu suicide thana attempt paniruku.. police kooda thangina ponnunu namma pulla kitaium visarichurukanga.. Phone number ellam vangirukanga. theva patta visaripom nu solirukanga.. antha pulla inum konjam serious ah thaan iruku. avanga veetu alunga vanthachu.."

Preethi is still in fear. They all had dinner. After dinner,

Mithran (Meesai) - " nee onum kavala padatha Preethi. enaku therincha oru police friend irukaan naan pesikaren"

Preethi nodded her head and said, "thanks anna". Mithran' s body stiffened at the word a little and then relaxed.

Chithra- "iniaku Naan ingayae thangikaren pa. thunaiah irukum". Mithran nodded his head.

Nila started to cry louder in her bed stating, "maa... mithaa... mithaa.. maa... mithaa..."

Everyone rushed to the baby. Baby shivered a little. Mithra lifted the baby and co-ed it. On seeing Mithran, Nila extended her hands, Mithran the next second got the baby from her.

Chithra- "kulanthai yaen ipadi bayanthu alugura?". Mithra explained all the things that is happened, Mithran co-ed the baby and it stopped its cries.

Chithra- "avlo thane oru sombu thanni eduthutu vaa". Preethi went to kitchen, took water and gave it to her.

Chithra mumbled all gods name, prayed for the baby with dedication and splashed the water on Nila's face three times. Baby jerked, shivered and started to cry again..

Chithra- "ippo thoonga vai raasa, pullaiah bayam illama thoongum.."

Mithran wiped the baby with the towel Mithra gave and patted it to sleep, cooing her. Nila leaned on Mithran' s chest and slept after 15 minutes.

Mithran (Meesai) with much hesitation, "kulanthai enna thedura mami.. naanum ipadi hall la paduthukatuma please "

Mithra (Mami) - "nane kekanum nu ninachaen. thookathula aluthappo kooda unna koopdara. unaku onum kastam illaina paduthuko Saga"

Mithran (Meesai)- "enaku enna kastam. Angel la pathutae thoongiduven"

Mithra was about to get Nila from Mithran. But Nila tightly held Mithra's shirt. She struggled to separate Nila from Mithra. Mithran and Mithra looked at each other. She tried with little force.

Mithran (Meesai)- "Vendam, viral valikum Angel ku.. nee inga podu papavoda bed ah.. enkita irukatum"

Mithra shake her head as no and did as per his words. Then they all slept peacefully.
