Tatianna's POV

"That was nice of Mr. Kostopoulos to pay for our meal."

"Let's not forget that we now have VIP access to the club." Aiesha gleefully mentions and causes us all to high-five each other.

"How about we make our way to the club now?" We left the waitress a nice tip. But as we were getting ready to leave, Mr. Kostopoulos comes back over.

"Listen, can you ladies do me a favor?"

"Sure."

I heard it is hard to get in this club, so for us to score VIP access is huge. They have two entrances. I pulled my Mercedes up to the VIP gate and partially rolled down my window. The security at the gate was already judging me, and it is because of my skin tone.

"Excuse me, but you want the main entrance."

"No, I do not. I want the entrance that I am at. Mr. Kostopoulos said to give you this." I handed the guard the black velvet card that he gave me at the restaurant.

He looked at it, then said, "This could be fake. Ma'am, I am going to need you to scram." Mr. Kostopoulos said this may happen. He wanted me to roll my window all the way down, and I did. The guard was shocked when he saw Mr. Kostopoulos.

He told him, "Consider yourself fired. This is not the first time I have heard about you pulling this stunt on people of different races. Now, open this gate for Ms. Reid and my Range Rover driving behind her."

The security guard did as he was told and let us in the gate. While parking, he said, "I'm sorry about what just happened. Some of my friends said he did the same thing to them. And, thanks for letting me ride in your Mercedes."

"It's okay. It is not your fault that guard is like that. I get comments like that all the time that my skin is dark that now I am self-conscious about myself. My parents tell me not to be, but it is hard. It's been that way for years. I am 27 years old and have never been on a date. Forgive me if I am rambling. And, I can't believe I am telling someone I just met about my insecurity. And, thank you for letting my sister drive your Range Rover. She wants to get one of those one day. You like my sister don't you? Not many people would let a stranger drive their Range Rover."

"You're welcome. Let's go inside." While walking inside, he continued talking. "Do you think she will go out on a date with me? And, It would be easy for me to say don't listen to those people. Seriously, they are jealous and stupid. I know we just met about 2 to 3 hours ago, but your beautiful, Tatianna. I'm not just saying that because I want to date your sister. I sincerely mean it. And, you don't have to call me Mr. Kostopoulos. Call me Matti."

"Okay, Matti. You should be more worried about our dad than me." Aiesha came over with Matti's keys.

"Thank you so much for letting me drive your truck! I definitely want one of those." She says as we enter the club. Fortunately for us, we had VIP access because the club is packed. And, they were playing Caribbean music tonight.

"Okay, who is purse watching first?"

"I'll do it, sis. You can go dancing."

"Thanks, Aiesha." At least she will get to talk to a guy that likes her. Celeste and Kendall came with me to dance. They have been my best friends forever since we were kids. We danced to three songs. And, of course, two guys came and danced with them. I should be used to this by now. I went to the bar, ordered me a mint mojito and went back to the VIP section so Aiesha can dance.

I was so busy looking at the dance floor that I didn't realize I bumped into someone. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry."

"Watch where you are going!! Now I am wet!!!" The voice sounded so annoying. When the girl and her boyfriend turned around, I was in awe. Well, of her boyfriend. He was hot - had to be at least 6'4" tall, brown eyes, jet black hair, and surprisingly he wore glasses.

"Look, I said I was sorry. Most of it spilled on me." What a drama queen!

Niko's POV

"Ana, will you calm down and stop making a scene?! The drink barely spilled on you. Go sit down already."

Tatianna is even more beautiful up close. "Please excuse her. She's a drama queen."

"I really am sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking. Guess I'll go back downstairs and get another drink."

"You don't have to go downstairs. There is a bar up here. Or, you can order one and have it brought to your VIP seating area."

"Thank you. This is actually my first time in this club. I could definitely come back here again."

"The owner would be very pleased to hear your compliment." I sure am. I will make sure she has permanent VIP access. Count on it.

"Well, sorry again about the drink. Nice bumping into you." Then she walked over to Matti's area. He just happened to look up, so I waved him over.

"Make sure Tatianna, her sister, and her friends have permanent VIP access. I'm sure you heard Ana being a pain."

"Yes, I did. Yo man, maybe we can toss her in a river or something. It was a simple accident with Tatianna bumping into her."

If Ana keeps it up, she may end up there.

"Speaking of Tatianna's sister, I got a date with her, so Aiesha and Tatianna always do things together. Which means we can double date. Are you getting the hint?"

"We can't double date yet. I'm calling that PI tomorrow. I need Ana gone now."

"You do that and get rid of her quickly. I'm not going into detail, but Tatianna says she is self-conscious about her skin color. People make comments about her skin."

"They what?!" I was livid and so angry that I crushed my glass drink cup.

"And, you need to hire a new security guard for the VIP gate because he discriminated against her. He wouldn't let Tatianna in and told her to scram."

"He told her what?! Excuse me but I have to deal with a security guard." Two of my bodyguards came with me to handle the situation.

Tatianna's POV

I did just as he said, went back to my seat, a waitress came over and took my drink order.

"Aiesha, Yuri, and Akiko you ladies can go dancing. I'll watch the purses."

"Thanks, Tati." They all went dancing. I need to be careful about how much I drink because I am driving. So, this will be the only one. Out of our group, I am the only one not with a guy. Aiesha and Matti are about to date. Yuri and Akiko are dating two nice guys. Celeste and Kendall are dancing with two hot guys. And me, I am sitting here watching purses. I am going to live my life dateless, kissless, and childless because of my skin.

"Excuse me, but aren't you Tatianna Reid?"

I turned around and saw him - my college crush Jay Thomas, who was oblivious to me for 3 years because I graduated as a Junior. So, what does he want now?

I gave him a 'What do you want? ' look. "Yes, that is the name my parents gave me. How can I help you?" I may be self-conscious about my skin, but I have a smart mouth and am not a pushover.

"Listen, I know we didn't speak much in college, but I always wanted to ask you something."

"Seriously dude? We didn't talk at all. And, the only thing people back from college wanted to ask me was for answers on a test. Nice to see you again. Bye." And, then I turned my head back the other way.

"Okay, I'm sorry about that. But, I guess you could say that I really wanted to talk to you but was too afraid. I wanted to ask you out on a date."

I turned back around. "Boy please, does it say stupid on my forehead? Nobody in that entire college wanted to date me because I was the dark girl. Like I said, nice to see you again. Goodbye."

He sat down and grabbed my hand. I rolled my eyes and snatched my hand back.

"That's not true. There were several guys that wanted to date you. So, I was going to ask you Senior year. But, you were gone."

"Yes, I was gone. I graduated early and went to medical school. I am a doctor now."

This seems too good to be true. Back in college, I had daydreams about this guy. Not anymore. Those days were over when I graduated.

"Well, here I am now. So, would you like to go on a date?"

Niko's POV

I suddenly become angry. She said yes to him?! She is mine and nobody else's. She is right. He never paid any attention to her in college, so why is he asking her now? He seems suspicious.

"Niko, let's go dance," Ana begs of me.

"You go dance. I'm not in the mood."

"Why do you have a club then if you are not going to dance?"

She was really pissing me off. "Why have do you have a mouth? It is annoying me! Go find somebody to dance with and leave me alone!!!"

Narrator's POV

Over the last year of dating Ana, Niko developed anger issues. That is another reason he wants to get rid of her.

Over the next 6 months, Tatianna and Jay became closer to each other - talking on the phone getting to know each other, he came to her office and took her to lunch, etc.

Poor Niko was stuck with Ana. And, he hadn't seen Tatianna since the night of the club. He craves to see her again and have her in his arms.

Matti and Aiesha have become officially boyfriend and girlfriend. He even passed the parent test. Everyone in Matti's family liked Aiesha, except his mother. But, Matti and Aiesha did not care.

Then, it happened.

Niko's POV

Yes!! I can finally be rid of that wretch, Anastasha Karros. She is on her way now. Free at last!!

That is probably her now knocking on the door. As soon as she steps in, her car will be taken away. I giddily opened the door.

"What's up, Niko? You look extra happy."

"Have a seat the living room." As she did, I made a motion for my guards to seize the car.

After closing the door, I skipped my way into the living room. "I have been waiting for this day for the longest time to tell you this."

"Niko, are you proposing?"

I sure did laugh in her face. "Ana quit with the jokes. Marry you? Not even if heck froze over." I grabbed the folder of pictures and documents showing her stealing money from me. I slammed them right in her lap.

She looked at each picture and document with her mouth open, not saying a word.

"I gave you numerous opportunities to tell me the truth, but you never did. I knew someone was stealing from my company but didn't know who. Oh, and your little boyfriend is being arrested as we speak. Everything I gave you is no longer yours - the house, car, bank account, etc. It has all been seized and the name was changed to mine."

I heard sirens outside. "Right on time." The police pulled up to the house. "Your ride is now here."

She had the audacity to try and run. I caught up to her in 3 steps and grabbed her arm. " You truly are pathetic, Ana." I dragged her to the door, opened it for the police and said, "She is all yours." And, then I pushed her out the door. He started reading Ana her rights as I slammed the door.

"Good riddance." Now, I can finally make Tatianna Reid mine. Dummy me, I forgot to ask Aiesha where Tatianna lives.

I went upstairs to my room to take a shower and cleanse myself of Ana. Then, I pictured me and Tatianna, naked in the shower, steaming the doors with our impregnating sessions. I can't wait to have her screaming, 'Niko! Niko!' in my bedroom.

After my refreshing shower, I went to get dressed.

I thought about it, so I am going to drive today and give Jack a break. After grabbing the keys to my Cullinan, I made my way to the front door.

As soon as I opened it, I saw Matti and Aiesha.

"Hey, what are you guys doing here? I was just coming over to see you Aiesha. I am finally free of the trash that was named Ana."

Matti and Aiesha entered the house very quietly.

"Niko, I am going to just come out and say this. Last night, Jay asked Tati to be his girlfriend. And, she said yes."

"She said what?!"
