Tatianna's POV

It has one week since Niko came out of his coma. His health is improving, except for his memory. He even told me about some nurses that have tried to flirt with him. He may not remember that we are engaged, but he sure did tell those nurses off. So did I because it is unprofessional to flirt with patients.

I spoke to Janiyah, Griffin, Cris, and Shane. Cris and Shane said they would come for a visit later because they won't be able to make it. Janiyah and Griffin are flying from Chicago and Houston today. Matti is going to pick them up from the airport.

As for work, Lukas has taught me so much in a short amount of time. Just as I thought, several executives had an issue because I was chosen to help with running the company. Lukas shut that down quick. Niko gets his firmness and 'don't play with me attitude' from Lukas.

Cass, Aiesha, and I are sitting in the waiting room with my parents.

"Tati and Aiesha, your mom and I are going to get something to eat. Would you ladies like anything?"

"Yes, dad. Thank you. Anything is okay with me."

As soon as my parents left the waiting room, Matti, Janiyah, and Griffin entered.

"Hi, Tatianna. How are you?" Janiyah asked. I went to hug her first.

"Considering the situation, I am hanging in there. Hi, Griffin. Thank you both for coming." I went to hug him next.

"Hi, Tatianna. And, you're welcome. How is Niko doing?"

"He is improving, but still has Amnesia. This past week, several nurses tried to take advantage of the fact that he has Amnesia by trying to flirt. He told them off, and I did as well."

"Seriously? What is wrong with people?"

"I said the same thing, Janiyah. Niko may not remember we are engaged, but he sure does whistle every time I leave the room."

"That's a good sign, right? He still has eyes only for you."

"Griffin, I do take it as a good sign. Whatever it takes to bring his memory back, I will do it. Niko's parents and Nana are in his room now. Once they come back, I'll take you both to visit with him. Oh, and you both are staying at my house."

"Thanks, Tatianna."

"You're welcome, Griffin. Please call me Tati. Only my family and close friends can call me that."

A few minutes after Griffin and Janiyah arrived, Lukas, Evangeline, and Nana Dory entered the waiting room.

"Now I know both of you better come hug me. And, thanks for coming," Nana said to Griffin and Janiyah. I cracked up in laughter.

Janiyah replied, "You're welcome, Nana Dory. We had to come to check up on Niko. We were just asking Tatianna about Niko."

"Speaking of Niko, I just may have persuaded him to remember you both are engaged."

"Nana, you sure are slick."

"Honey, no one is going mess with your future. And, my future great-grandchildren."

"Uh, speaking of future great-grandchildren, I am pregnant."

We all snapped our heads at Alesha. "I'm going to be an auntie?! When did you find out?"

"I had an appointment this morning before coming to the hospital. As of today, I am 12 weeks pregnant. I find out the baby's gender on November 26th."

"Child, I could have told you that you were pregnant. I was itching to reveal it but waited until you mentioned it. A mama knows these things about their kids. Aiesha, honey you were extra moody. Plus I noticed an increased appetite and weight gain. Did you have morning sickness?"

Aiesha replied, "No, I didn't experience it, until this morning before the appointment."

"Extra moody is right," Matti says as Aiesha pops his arm. Griffin, Janiyah, and I bust out laughing.

"Prepare to have the biggest baby shower on the planet," my dad mentioned.

Nana Dory added, "Make it two big baby showers - Greek and Jamaican."

"I called Greece right after the appointment. Some of the family is already planning a trip to California. Nana Ionna is coming. Uh, mom, she said to prepare for a nice, long chat," Matti then says. The last part is for Evangeline.

"Congrats, Aiesha and Matti. Aunt Tatianna is absolutely spoiling her niece or nephew."

"Thanks, Tati. I wanted to wait to mention it at a better time."

"Girl, please. You were worried about what's going on with Niko. Don't be. Your pregnancy news is what we all needed to hear. I want you to focus on your baby. I'll worry about Niko. Speaking of, Griffin and Janiyah, you guys ready to go visit with Niko?"

"We're ready. And, congrats, Aiesha. Let me know when the baby shower happens."

"Thank you, Janiyah. And, I sure will."

Griffin, Janiyah, and I made our way to Niko's room. Niko still has his serious demeanor even with Amnesia. He wants people to knock on the door before entering, so that is what I did.

"Come in."

"Niko, I have some visitors for you. This is Griffin and Janiyah. They are two of your best friends."

"You're okay with me having a woman as a best friend?"

Janiyah replied, "Niko, you and I are like a brother and sister."

"Oh, okay. I do remember seeing you both in pictures my Nana showed me. Speaking of my Nana, she convinced me that you and I are engaged. She would never lie to me. So, have a seat right here next to me."

Yup, that sounds like Niko. He patted the bed for me to sit next to him. As soon as I sat down, he wrapped his left arm around my waist. "I hope I didn't offend you but I wasn't sure. Do we have nicknames or something?"

"Niko, it's okay. We don't have nicknames for each other. My family and close friends do call me Tati."

"I like saying your whole name - Tatianna. It sounds sexy."

"Uh, I'm sure Griffin and Janiyah don't want to hear or see you getting fresh with me, so I'll go sit in one of the chairs."

Niko's POV

"Nope, you can stay right here. So, how did I meet you guys? Ladies first."

Janiyah - "Niko, you and I met at a business conference in 2016. Our first encounter wasn't pleasant. But, over time, we became the best of friends."

"Well, I'm sorry for being a total jerk. Women are to be treated as queens. That's what my Nana told me earlier today."

Griffin, "Niko, you and I have been friends since I started my business, which was 2011. We met at a business conference too."

"What type of businesses do you both own?"

Janiyah - "I own an accounting firm in Houston. My company is the accounting firm for your businesses."

"So, your company is the one my father talked about. He said great things about it. So, thank you."

Griffin - "I own successful resorts and hotels across the globe."

"Sweet. So, are you both the only friend that I have?"

Janiyah - "No, we are not the only ones. Shane Landes and Cris Fiore are your friends. Niko, you, me, Griffin, Shane, and Cris are like a supergroup in the business world. We all own successful businesses and enjoy spending time together. Shane and Cris couldn't make it this time. But they wanted me to tell you they will be coming soon for a visit."

"Oh, okay. I think I am going to get some rest now."

Tatianna's POV

"Okay. We'll see you later." Griffin, Janiyah, and I left Niko's room.

"I know it's the Amnesia, but it feels weird seeing Niko calm."

"It does, Griffin. I'm sure you both are hungry and tired, so let me take you to my house."

"Thanks, Tatianna."

"You're welcome, Griffin."

Niko did so well with his therapy sessions over the last month that he gets to go home today, which I am ecstatic about. He still has Amnesia.

Manilio is giving Niko instructions on what he is supposed to do at home.

"A Physical Therapist will come to your home for your therapy. Tatianna has the schedule. And, I am not going to release you to go back to work yet. You need to get some rest and relaxation first. I scheduled an appointment for you to come back in January. We'll talk then about work."

"Manilio, I will make sure that Niko goes nowhere near the office. Count on it. Thank you for everything."

"You're welcome."

Niko was already in his wheelchair, so I wheeled him downstairs to Matti's SUV.

Once outside, Matti helped Niko into his SUV. I walked over to my Mercedes and then followed Matti home.

Lukas, Evangeline, Nana Dory, Aiesha, and my parents were at the house. Lukas and Matti created a 'Welcome Home' banner and placed it in front of the house. As I parked next to Matti, I could tell Niko was pleased with the sign.

Matti helped Niko out of his SUV and into a wheelchair. I grabbed his crutches from my SUV and went to open the front door. Fortunately, Niko's house has a walkway with no stairs.

"Tati, lunch is ready and in the dining room."

"Thanks, Lukas. I am starving."

Matti wheeled Niko into the dining room.

"This is my house?"

"Yup. This is one of your homes."

"You mean I have more?"

"We'll talk later about everything that you own. Right now, let's eat."

My mom fixed everyone a plate, and we passed them around until we all had one. Then, we dug into the delicious food.

"So, Aiesha and Matti, what are you having?"

"I'm pregnant with a baby girl. And, just one baby. We already picked out her name. It's a combo of Greek and Jamaican - Maia Najae Kostopolous."

"That's a beautiful name, Aiesha and Matti. Now that I know the baby is a girl, it's spoiling tine."

"Thanks, Tati."

"I'm going to be an uncle? Sweet."

I sure do miss the demanding and bold Niko. I hope the Amnesia goes away soon.
