Tati's POV

"Welcome to Tahiti, baby," Niko says as we descended down the stairs of the plane. As soon as we stepped off the plane, he had a scowl on his face towards the limo driver and his assistant.

"I suggest the two of you stop bugging your eyes out before I pluck them out!"

Both guys turned away really quickly. Aiesha, Matti, and I chuckled, but not for long. Niko glared at all of us. "There is nothing funny."

"Niko Kostopoulos, turn around and face me." I started rubbing Niko's chest with my hands, in a circular motion to calm him down.

"I'm yours, remember? Those guys nor any other man can never have me."

"You got that right. I'm the only man you will ever need."

"My mind, body, and soul belong to Niko Kostopoulos - future hubby and my Cubby Bear." Niko was now grinning like the Cheshire Cat in 'Alice In Wonderland.'

"Thank you, gentlemen, for coming to pick us up, and take us to our home."

"Uh, you're welcome, Mrs. Kostopoulos. Mr. Kostopoulos, we meant no disrespect to your wife. You sure are one lucky man." I elbowed Niko so he would reply. I'm not the Mrs. yet, but it sure did sound sweet.

"Well, for future reference, keep them eyes to yourself. Tatianna is a lady and my lady at that."

I punched Niko in his arm as we got in the limo. "Ouch, woman!"

"Hush. You'll be fine."

"I sure will be. You just wait and see." Niko suddenly smirked. Uh-oh.

"This is your house?!"

"No. This is our house."

"It's amazing!!"

"It really is Tati. I can't wait for our wedding to come. It's so peaceful and serene here." Aiesha gushes as she talks about her wedding. I could picture us getting married here, and I haven't seen the rest of the house. But we're not engaged yet.

"Here's the keys to the house. Aiesha can give you a tour." Niko gave me the keys.

"Tati, you are going to love it." The first stop on the tour was the kitchen.

"I love it. It has so much counter space for family gatherings. Amazing." We toured the rest of the main floor, which was massive. There is a huge basement with a three-lane bowling alley!

"Aiesha, let's challenge Matti and Niko to a bowling match."

"Hey, I heard that!" Niko says as he entered with Matti.

"You are on, Tatianna Reid-Kostopoulos."

"Real cute. We can do that tomorrow after wedding shopping. Right now, I am hungry. Let's go get something to eat."

"Right after you put on a pair of shorts, woman."

"Uh, next time I wear this, I will absolutely wear shorts. I didn't pack any for this trip. Sorry, Cubby."

Niko sighed, but he will be okay.

"The food was delicious. Thanks, Cubby. I haven't seen the backyard yet."

"Let's go back." Aiesha and Matti stayed inside while Niko took me on an outside tour.

"There is plenty of lighting back here. It's beautiful. And, access to a beach. But I see what I want to lay in."

I grabbed Niko's hands and dragged him over to a hammock. "The beach belongs to me, so it is private."

(Imagine that it is evening time.)

Niko laid down first. Then, I laid next to him. Then, he laced our hands together.

"I could live here. It reminds me of Jamaica. I miss it, but I also love San Diego. We are coming here for our next vacation. Well, after Aiesha and Matti's wedding."

"Speaking of the wedding, will you marry me?"

I almost choked on my spit.

"I'm as serious as I will ever be. I'm not one for long, drawn-out speeches. Short and sweet works for me."

Niko flashed to me the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.

Then, I heard one of my favorite songs being sung by...........

"Eric Benet?!!! B-b-but how?!!"

"It's a surprise, baby." Instantly the tears started falling down my cheeks. Standing with Matti and Aiesha near the patio doors was........

"Mom?! Dad?!" My friends were here too. And, my grandparents.

After Eric Benet finishes singing, Niko and I got up from the hammock. Then, Niko got down on one knee. My eyes were hurting.

"You are the one I want forever in my life. So, will you, Tatianna Kiyana Reid, be my wife and become Tatianna Kiyana Kostopoulos? Short and sweet, see."

"Yes, I will become Tatianna Kiyana Kostopoulos." Niko put the ring on my finger. I just could not stop crying.

"I used to think that this day would never come for me. I-I'm speechless. Where were you guys? Aiesha took me on a tour of the whole house."

"Everyone is staying at a hotel in the city."

"Um, Tatianna, is that what you call a dress?"

"Dad!"

"Jarvis, I said the same thing."

"Niko! I remember you wanting to lift it up and......."

Niko got quiet then, and started whistling.

"You guys need to leave Tatianna alone. Look at her - she has curves for years. Congratulations, Tatianna. And, welcome to the family."

Nana Dory and Niko's dad came too?!

"Thank you, Nana Dory." I cried into Niko's shirt. This is the best thing that has happened to me.

"Tatianna, don't let my mother bug you about great-grandchildren. Let me know if she does. And, congratulations. Niko and Matti both found very, beautiful and sweet women to become their brides."

I went to give Niko's dad a hug. "Thank you, Lukas." I went to give everyone a hug. My dad wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Tati, baby, you mom and I knew this day would come. We are so happy that it is here. Both of our girls are getting married."

"Wait a minute. I forgot something." I walked back over to Niko. "Hold me, Cubby."

I wrapped my arms around Niko's neck, and my legs around his waist as he lifted me in the air. "I absolutely, positively love you, Niko Kostopoulos." I did not care that everyone was watching. Under the moonlit sky, I kissed my hubby to be with so much passion and lust it wasn't even funny. Niko had a firm grip on my butt as we kissed for what seemed like forever. I heard whistling from two individuals, and I already know it was Nana Dory and my Nana Dalia.

Then, my dad started clearing his throat. I moved one of my arms from around Niko's neck to wave everyone inside. I want to stay like this for as long as I can.

"Let's time how long they are going to kiss."

Okay, that broke my concentration, as well as Niko's. I couldn't control my laughter. Nana Dory and my grandma are a trip!!!

"Grandma and Nana Dory, you guys crack me up!!"

"If we crack you up now, wait until we give you advice about......"

"Mom!! Leave that discussion for Niko and Tatianna to talk about," Lukas says to stop Nana Dory from talking about sex. Trust me, I have thought about it, and it almost happened. I want to wait.

"If you kissed me like that for getting engaged, I can't wait to see what type of kiss it will be for our wedding night."

"You'll just have to wait, Mr. Kostopoulos." Then, I took off for the beach. I knew he was going to come after me. He caught up to me too fast.

"How about a dip, missy?" Niko swept me up in his arms in one swoop.

"I'm going to be cold, and my dress is going to be clingy."

"A clingy dress sounds good to me." Niko ran right in the water. Plop! I went right down in it. I couldn't stop shivering. "The water is cold at n-n-night."

"How about a little warming up?" Niko then carried me into the house, and upstairs to the bedroom.

"Time to get warm, baby."

"First, I need to get out of these wet clothes. Be ready for me when I come out of the bathroom." I looked for my suitcase, which was over by the chairs near the window. I grabbed my sleepwear, then went into the bathroom.

I just went ahead and took a nice, warm shower first. Then, I changed into my gown. Achoo! I walked out of the bathroom, sneezing. Niko whistled.

"Peel them covers back because I am still cold." Achoo!! Achoo!! Achoo!! Ugh, the dreaded three sneezes in a row.

Once we were cuddled up together, we both drifted off to sleep.

Narrator's POV

The following day, everyone flew back to Jamaica and hosted the biggest engagement party ever - Caribbean style. Nana Dory and Dalila had a great time together - helping Aiesha and Matti with the menu for the wedding, etc.

The rest of the trip was spent with the family, chatting about everything under the sun - weddings, men, future grandchildren, etc.

The time flew by too fast. The trip back to San Diego has come.

Tati's POV

"Thank you, Nana Dalia, and Grandpa Evander for bringing us to the airport. I had a great time this visit. And, we will be back."

"We had a great time too. And, we are so proud that you are now an engaged woman."

"I had a great time as well. Thank you for having us."

"You're welcome, Niko. And, please call me Nana Dalia. You're my grandson now. Really cute grandson."

"Grandma!" I told you my grandma is a trip. I gave my grandparents a kiss and a hug. Then, Niko and I boarded his plane. Once everyone was far away, Adonis started the plane, taxied it to the runway, and away we go back to San Diego.

"Now that we are engaged, what am I going to do with the house you just got me?"

"Keep it. We can alternate where we spend each week. So, this week we'll stay at your new house. Or, you can rent it out, and add that money to the account I set up for your cafe."

"Okay, because you know how I do not like wasting money. And, you set up an account for the cafe, hmm?"

"I sure did. I'll give you your account number and card when we get back to San Diego. I told you I plan ahead."

"You sure do." It will be daylight when we get home. Thank goodness.

"Tati, baby we made it safely to San Diego. We can get off the plane now."

After yawning, we walked off the plane. Yuri and Akiko came to pick us up.

"Thank you, ladies. My address is........"

Then, we drove off to my new house. It only took us about 20 minutes to reach my place.

"Ladies, welcome to Tatianna Kostopoulos' Manor." I love knowing that I will have Niko's last name. And, no I am not hyphenating it.

"Ladies, you can pick your rooms, but can't stay tonight. Come on it for a tour." Yuri parked her SUV in front of the house. Akiko parked behind her. I grabbed my luggage from the trunk.

"Uh, Niko, I don't have the..."

"You're going to need these." He put the keys in my hand. How does he do these things?

I already knew which room was my bedroom. "Let's start upstairs."

I told the ladies which bedroom was off-limits.

Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There are a total of 8 bedrooms. There's a bedroom on the main floor also. We then went to the basement.

It took us a little over 20 minutes to tour the house.

"Love the house, Tati. Congratulations on the house and engagement."

"Thank you. I want to enjoy my engagement before picking a date. You ladies will be amongst the first to know."

"Can't wait. I know you both are tired, so we'll see you soon."

"Thanks, ladies." I watched as Yuri and Akiko got in their vehicles and pulled away for the drive home.

I am about to crash on the bed. I have one, long staircase. I needed to climb it though to get to my room.

Niko had fallen asleep that fast.

I couldn't help but think - now that we are engaged, how are things going to be at work? We shall find out starting next week when I am finally able to get back to work.
