"How are you feeling? Are they healing?" Tae asks after a week and a half.

"I'm okay." I say as smile over at him.

By now my bruises were close to gone but I could still see that Tae felt bad about it.

He made sure I knew how sorry he was too.

Every single day since he found out he's been tip toeing around me as if I May break if he touched me.

He hadn't even asked for sex since then as he normally would.

It was killing him to know he had put bruises on me.

To me, I didn't look at it as a bad thing.

These bruises weren't coming from pain or hatred, but from the love we shared that night.

He really meant no harm and that was clear to see.

"Are you sure?" He asks as he looks down at me.

"Really Baby, I'm okay." I say as I kiss him softly.

He looks sad.

"How about I show you." I smile as I go to move on top of him, only to have him slide out and stand up.

"I have to get to work. I'll see you later." Tae says as he leaves without another word. 

I take in a deep breath and fall back into the bed.

How the hell was I supposed to show him I was okay?

Rolling over onto my side I stare at where Tae would be.

I guess there's nothing for me to do now but sleep.

All day In class I was dazed as I thought about y/n.

Not just because of this morning or what happened a week ago, but what I did before I started dating her.

The horrible thing I did for her...

I was such an idiot.

Y/n can never find out what I did, she'll hate me.

She'll go right back to despising me like she did before.

I can't have that.

I can't live knowing y/n hates me.

"Mr.Kim."

A voice snaps me out of my thoughts and I look up to see y/n's friend Irene standing before me.

"What is it?" I ask calmly.

"I need some advice." She says.

Her voice was low.

"On?"

"I know something that I should tell people because it's the right thing to do but it could also ruin people's lives." She says and my eyes narrow.

"What is it?" I ask.

My heart was starting to beat a little faster.

"I shouldn't say. I just need to know if I should go to someone with it or just leave it alone." Irene says.

My eyes study her face.

"You should just leave it alone. It isn't your business to tell." I say, my voice low.

"I guess You're right... Besides, the truth will always come out in the end."

I was surprised when I woke up to Tae kissing my hips.

"What are you doing?" I ask as I rub the sleep from my eyes.

"I love you, you know that right?" Tae asks, his voice soft.

"Of course I know that. I love you too." I say as I sit up.

"What would you say if I asked you to marry me?" Tae asks, his voice rushed almost.

My eyes widen as my heart starts to beat faster.

"Where is this coming from? It's so sudden." I say, clearly taken back.

"I love you y/n and I want to be with you for the rest of our lives." He starts then continues on with;

"Let's leave this place. Let's get out of here and start a whole new life."

Tae was speaking so crazy it was too much to take in.

"Tae, you're scaring me. What is this all of a sudden? I'm only twenty-two. I still have so much I want to do here." I say.

"Yeah but don't you love me? That's the perfect reason to run away together. Run away and never look back." Tae says, his voice shaking.

My mind was racing and my heart felt heavy.

What was this about?

Why was he acting so crazy?

Suddenly, my phone went off.

"Please, y/n. Let's go." Tae seemed desperate right now.

He was begging.

I snatched my phone from the table and my heart stopped as I read the message;

Mr. Kim is the one who made Kai leave. He threatened to kill him if he didn't get out of his way. You have to get out of there, now. -Irene.

Before I even have time to respond my phone is snatched from my hand.

I stare up at Tae who is towering over me, his eyes dark.

"Please y/n."

He looked as if he were going to cry.

"You threatened Kai.. you're the reason he transferred?" I ask, my voice shaking.

"Let me explain." Tae starts but I don't even need to think as I stand up and start walking towards the door.

"Y/n, please. I-"

"You What?! You love me? Is that what you're going to say?! If you loved me you wouldn't have kept this from me! You're the reason Kai suddenly disappeared. You threatened to kill him and for what reason?! Are you fucking insane?!"

"He was trying to ruin what we had." Tae says, his voice low.

"We didn't Have Anything! You were just pissed that Kai had me when you wanted me. You're fucking crazy!" I say as go to leave but his hand comes and slams the door shut.

"Y/n please. I did it because I love you."

Tae was crying now, his voice broken.

"You don't love me, You're obsessed with me. There's a difference." I say, my heart breaking as I said it.

"I love you." Tae repeats as he drops his head onto my chest, his hands gripping my arms.

I squeeze my eyes shut as I clench my teeth.

This felt wrong.

I didn't want to be near him.

"Let go of me." I say but he doesn't listen.

"No. I can't lose you y/n, I can't." Tae cries.

I had never seen him like this before.

I pry him off of me, stumbling backwards at his tight grip.

"It's too late for that." I say as I grab my things and leave.
