three years later.

tyler literally couldn't breathe.

he was a nervous, shaking mess of a man as he heard the music begin outside of the room they stood in. he linked arms with his dad, who looked just as nervous as himself.

"ready, tyler?"

"god, no."

they both laughed and chris patted his son on the back. "you look beautiful, tyler. just wait until josh sees you."

tyler smiled, knowing he was right. he was wearing the most simple yet elegant wedding dress. it hugged his frame perfectly, and the white color contrasted nicely with his tan skin.

without another word, the two exited the room and walked down the aisle. the pews were filled with family and friends. everyone, literally everyone, gasped upon seeing tyler.

he was smiling hard, making eye contact with his soon-to-be husband. josh's hands were clamped over his mouth, eyes crinkled as he smiled at tyler. he couldn't get over how stunning the brunette looked in his wedding dress.

chris handed tyler off and took a seat beside kelly, leaving tyler alone to face josh. hearts were racing, smiles were wide. tyler couldn't believe this was actually happening right now.

"you may now kiss the groom."

josh locked their lips together, his large hands resting upon tyler's dainty cheeks. everyone clapped, accompanied by brendon and ryan hooting and hollering. tyler could scold them for it later.

josh scooped the small man into his arms, resulting in a squeak from the brunette. everyone was laughing, cheering, clapping. tyler was overwhelmed with love and joy, his cherry lips pressing a kiss to josh's cheek.

josh carried him outside to where the reception would be held. it was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and sakura trees, perfectly matching the pink theme of the wedding. the food was under a white canopy, along with the wedding cake and picture books containing josh and tyler's memories together.

josh set tyler down once they reached the table of food. the brunette pulled josh's face down to give him a quick peck. "i love you josh, so, so much."

"i love you too baby, you look absolutely stunning."

tyler grinned, grabbing himself a plate. "you don't look too bad yourself."

after the newlyweds filled their plates, they took a seat in the middle of a long table. ryan, brendon and tyler's siblings sat on his side while josh's siblings and a few of his friends sat on the other.

"you guys are embarrassing," tyler complained to his friends as they all began eating.

"we prefer the word supportive," brendon smiled, stuffing a meatball in his mouth.

"nah, embarrassing fits better."

"we're just happy for you!" ryan said.

"when are you two going to get married?" josh cut in, making tyler smile.

"i don't know, brendon, when are we going to get married?" ryan asked, raising his eyebrows at his boyfriend.

"i don't know! and even if i did i wouldn't tell you."

"if you propose to ryan at my wedding i will not hesitate to cut your balls off with this butter knife and never talk to you again," tyler said seriously, holding up a plastic knife.

"i wouldn't anyway! i'm not that much of an asshole."

"i beg to differ," josh said. "remember that one time you convinced tyler to drink ten shots of vodka? and he just so happened to get a black eye that same night?"

"hey, i never said i wasn't an asshole. i just said i'm not that much of one."

tyler laughed, completely agreeing with brendon's statement. "that is so true."

"excuse me everybody," josh called out, suddenly, making tyler bite down on his lip out of habit.

"i'd like to make a toast to my new husband."

everyone cheered and raised their glasses, making the brunette's cheeks grew hot. he sat there awkwardly, watching josh as he stood and held his glass out.

"tyler," he started, turning to look him in the eyes. "i'm so glad i can say i get to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life. i can't wait to adopt fur-babies with you and i can't wait to wake up in the middle of the night to you playing the piano. i can't wait to go on vacations with you and to experience life with you. you're my best friend, i love you, and god only knows where i'd be without you."

lots of people cheered, some awed, others, like tyler, cried.

"i love you so much," he said, smiling through his tears.

"i love you too, baby. til death do us part."
