Sunghoon's POV

I heave a sigh, standing outside HYBE uni, every korean's dream university. Damn, I really made it. Taking korean literature is not easy, but I like it, even though I am not that great at it. I'm so surprised that they accepted me. Today was Freshers' Ceremony. The day where many start their first year of university as freshers, some seniors welcoming them. It also marks the day one of a new academic year. I step into the campus and look around to see many stalls and banners, welcoming the freshers. 

"Hey Sunghoon!", a familiar voice calls me from afar. I turn to the voice to see Jungkook hyung, Iseul's sister. I wave back at him and walk towards him. (His hair, gosh, I shouldn't laugh but he looks like Dora the Explorer 💀)

"You study here hyung?", I ask him.

"Well, I did until last year. I came for Iseul's freshers ceremony", he said, his hands hiding in his trousers' pockets. Iseul's studying here too! OMG. I must tell her I'm sorry. I hurt my pookie :(

"Iseul's studying here too?", I try to hide the surprise in my voice.

"SURPRISEE", some guy said from behind. I turned around to see a dude, probably a senior with brown hair and a yellow hat with contrasting purple t-shirt.

"I'm Lee Minho, but you can me Lee Know. Your senior in your department, korean literature of course. Professor Lee, who is my mom actually, told that I should look out for you because you have potential and shii, so yeah", he said in one breath, somehow not gasping for air.

"Ah alright. Thanks... I guess", I reply, not sure what say, a small smile plastered across my face.

"Jagi~ ", some guy with dark brown hair says, skipping towards Minho sunbae-nim and clings onto his neck.

"Ah this is my boyfriend, Han Jisung, by the way", he introduces his boyfriend while trying to pull his face away and stop Jisung sunbae-nim from giving kisses in public. They're prettycute together if you ask me.

"I'd prefer it if you call me Han", Jisung sunbae said with a kind smile, his hands still hanging around Minho sunbae's neck.

"Of course sunbae", I say with a small bow.

"Oh", Han sunbae widens his eyes as he looks behind me. "Jungkook sunbae! How are you?".

"I'm fine kids. Happy that you guys are still going well. Probably a little bit more clingier", he said taking his hand out of his pocket to show like this 🤏 and chuckles, keeping his hand back in. Both the sunbaes giggle and I just smile a little.

"OI ALIEN!", A familiar female voice calls. I turn around to see Iseul calling her brother. Wearing this: 

Her hair was just as short as before. She has bangs now though. Suits her so well, if you ask me. This gorgeous lady of my dreams walks towards her brother, smiling, but it fades away as her eyes lands on me. Ah-

Iseul's POV

I came in search of alien and he's talking to him? Alien doesn't know I liked him or that he rejected me. Better off like that. I just noticed, what the hell?

"Oppa!", I yelled  and he jumped, "What the hell is wrong with your hair?! You look like Dora the Explorer lolol", I laugh out loud.

(Finally someone said it  Sunghoon says in his mind)

"I look handsome! Shut up, you jealous ass", he scoffs.

"Why would I be jealous of a Dora look-alike alien? You must be jealous of me DorAlien", I ask sassily, flipping my hair.

"And why would I be jealous of a rat look-alike? And don't call me that!", He retorts. I scoff in disbelief.

"At least I'm a cute rat", I say showing a peace sign.

Suddenly someone spoke through the speakers set up all around the school. "My dear students and the family of some students, please arrive at Auditorium 143! Seniors, please guide them! Regards, the principal, Mr. Bang".

I drag DorAlien with me to the auditorium. I glance back at Sunghoon and realise that his family went on a trip to Paris on his big day. He told me when we were still friends. I feel bad- NO NO. I'm not feeling bad for him of all people.

Sunghoon's POV

I look at her go away. I sighed. Damn, she really did get over me.

"Oooh! Someone's in love", Lino sunbae says, whispering the word 'love' in an oddly uncomfortable way. I move my head away from him.

"Kind of", I say looking back at Iseul walking away, dragging her brother along like a mop.

"Want me to set you both up?", he asks, very much interested in my love life.

"Nah, she won't like me..."

"Why though?", Han sunbae asks, furrowing his eyebrows.

"She liked back in highschool, the last term. I rejected, saying we were just friends. She cut all ties with me, but then I fell in love and now, it looks like she got over me".

"You're wrong at the last part".

"Huh?", I turn to Han sunbae, shocked at his words.

"If she got over you then she should be talking normally to you"

"Avoiding you means she doesn't like you, not that she got over you", Lino sunbae completes his boyfriend's words. I shake my head in disbelief. What in Girl Math is this?

"No. I don't think so".

"Trust us dude. Being gay, we have A LOT of female friends. Each one is different but we know how their brains work. We know the GIRL MATH", Han sunbae says and Lino sunbae nods at his words. I nod too, pursing my lips in thinking.

"Now get going and have fun at the ceremony. We're in charge of the photobooth. Come meet us later there!", Lino sunbae says pushing me towards the auditorium's direction.

"Bye, sunbaesss!!!", I say as I jog towards the auditorium.

"We are your hyungs now kid!", the hyungs yell.

"Okay, hyungs", I say, speeding up and waving to them with a smile on my face.
