Manik was working over a file when he heard a knock and here she enters.

"Sir, you have a meeting in 15 min and..." She reminded him and briefed him about the meeting to which he nodded. While business it's business.

Nandini told and left as soon as her work is complete to prepare the files that are needed and got the conference room ready. Manik noticed her preparing conference room through the glass wall which is only seen from his office glass.

He entered the conference room soon after it was filled with people, all buzzing with practically-trying-to-find-their-profit people.

Manik took his seat and the presentation started.

After 3 hours or so, the meeting ended with Nandini grinning and Manik's cold face, no warmth except when his eyes lands on Nandini. His sweet little girl is smiling.

Nandini smiled at him also when he looked at her and then left the conference room and entered in Manik's office. She looked around and arranged some files on desk and left, just to bring coffee and snacks that he takes at this time. Secretary's job is more like babysitting except here you cry and follows the baby's order.

Manik entered to see everything he asked for from Nandini already on his table while Nandini sitting on her seat and eating her food. She ate while talking to someone with the smile he wants for himself only.

He noticed the blush she was getting and shouting at the other person in mock anger. The angry young man with possession issues came in front and he called Cabir.

"Cabir who does Nandini lives with and where does she exactly live?"

"she lives alone and she lives in the building somewhere in high down-town where she has a friend Aryaman, who as I know is a gay." Cabir thought it all and presented his answer as he knows that Nandini is always only talking with her gay friend and doesn't have a boyfriend. Apparently Manik noticed her flirting with her best friend.

Manik relaxed himself and called Nandini after he noticed that she completed her lunch and told her that today he will be returning home early and she will have to come with him as he needs her help with his family as they will be here and would like to meet his secretary to see who is with him all time in his office.

Nandini heard all and was amazed about how involved Manik is with his family. How can such a guy be womanizer? She would love to be his anything, sister is the best option.

If only Manik heard this.

Manik noticed Nandini's lost look and thought she finally noticed him. The misandrist in her is dying slowly.

Soon, the misandrist took all her stuff and left with Manik for his house.

Soon Manik and Nandini reached his house and as Manik entered the pass code, they both entered the mansion with two girls of roughly ten years rushing towards Nandini and checked her up and down and then showed a thumbs up at Manik while Manik smiled at them and let them pull Nandini towards them.

Manik noticed Nandini's happy face when Mira and Kira, his cousin's twin daughters talking to her with that starry eyed look on their face. As if they just saw an angel but then is Nandini less than an angel, she is even beautiful than that.

"Manik, you choose a truly beautiful girl." Manik smiled at what his mother said to him and laughed before giving her a kiss on cheeks. "Thank you for approving mom."

Manik sat with his mom who was still looking at Nandini and asked "will dad be here?"

"No, he is busy in work."

"when is he ever home for family. You shouldn't even ask..." Manik's sister sighed. she doesn't like how her uncle is never home, not even when his son is showing the girl he is planning to take as bride.

Nandini looked at the girls showing drawings to her that they made in their school.

She found it awesome how everyone in here looks perfect, she hasn't seen a perfect family, all she has seen are families that looks together from the outside but are very broken inside. Her wishes for a family might just never come true. A happy and together family are so less now-a-days, don't know what's missing, love? or just togetherness?

Manik dropped Nandini at her apartment and told her to come early tomorrow as they have an urgent meeting and also he has something important to talk about.

He then noticed her trying to unhook the seat-belt but they won't move, she was struggling which made Manik undo her seat-belt and she uneasily looked at him whose whole concentration was on belt and undid it for her, she left wishing him.

As she left, Manik smiled and got a pin out of the seat-belt clutch.

His plan to come close to her is soon going to start, there is no way for her to go. After-all a CEO wants her.
