Taehyung and Eunna are back together. Thank you for your sacrifice. Because of you, they're happy now.

I smiled. That is what I really wanted. To see them happy. It was my first intention of getting closer to Eunna. To bring her back to Taehyung.

But who expects that I would suddenly caught off guard then fell in love with her? Funny and tragic.

While I was trying to fix their relationship, I caught myself falling in love with her. Some of you may be asking why do I wanted to fix their relationship despite I was the one who broke it. I'm confused too. But it was for Taehyung's sake.

I once said to myself that I don't want to see him suffers again. And taking Eunna away from him will torture his feelings. I realized that. I thought that they weren't meant to be together because Eunna looks like Areum. But I was wrong. I can't judge her just because she looks exactly the same as the person who hurt Taehyung. Their faces might be same, but after knowing her more deeper, I realized that I've made a mistake. Because Eunna is a very good and a kind girl and she deserves to be with Taehyung.

She was too kind that I suddenly fell for her. How funny.

Finding myself in the middle of sad and happy feelings, I looked down at my passport then smiled gently. Since they're happy now, I can finally make my way to the states. I only stayed here for Eunna. Because she had no one to be by her side when Taehyung wasn't around. But since they're back together, I think she doesn't need me anymore.

I put my password back into my bag then was about to walk away. But then I stopped when I saw a familiar girl was sitting alone at a bench while crying. I walked towards her way then decided to approach her.

"So when did you come back from the states? I thought you were still there, though." Eunna said while resting her head on Taehyung's shoulder while he was gently rubbing her hand. The difference between their hands was cute.

Taehyung smiled, playing along with her current mood. "I came back right away when my uncle told me that my cousin is sick. He's like one of the closest person to me. " He answered then secretly looked at her. "Were you sad when you know that I left Korea? " He asked.

As he asked her the question, she looked up at him then pouted a bit. "Of course, what do you expect me to feel? I was so sad and feeling bad at the same time. But gladly Jungkook was there for me. He'd always make me feel better and give me motivations. He's like a very good friend to me. " She answered while remembering all those things Jungkook had done for her.

"He's a very good friend. Really, " she smiled genuinely. As Taehyung was listening to every confession she was telling, he suddenly remembered something.

"So where's him now? Why he's not here? " He asked. "We should celebrate this together. " He added.

Eunna stopped directly, "I've texted him and asked him to come over. But it has been 2 hours since I sent the text. " She stated then looked at her phone. "He left me on read. That's weird. " She looked at Taehyung.

As she was thinking of the reason Jungkook was ignoring her, she suddenly remembered something. Gasping, she gripped on Taehyung's arm very tightly and looked at him with wide eyes. "I think—" her eyes were wild in fear, feeling terrified that the thing she was thinking might be true. "He's going to the states. "

Jimin and Yoongi made their ways towards Eunna and Taehyung. "What's going on now?" Yoongi asked in concerned after getting a panicked call from Eunna. There was so many things had happened at once and they really think that Yoongi and Jimin could help them.

With Eunna in Taehyung's arm feeling absolutely worried, he looked at Yoongi and said, "Jungkook has been ignoring our calls and texts. He even left us on read. And Eunna is scared if he's going to the states without telling us. "

"Why would he do that? " Yoongi asked in confusion as he couldn't see the exact reason of Jungkook to leave. For him, there was no strong reason for Jungkook to go even he knows that his heart is hurting after letting Eunna go.

But at least he knows that his action was right. And he was happy to know that she'll be happy with someone she loves. Just in a blink, she suddenly cried in Taehyung's arms as she remembered the things Jungkook told her. "He said that he only stayed here for me because I need him. But he also told me that he wouldn't be here permanently and he'll go once everything is fine and—" she cried.

"I think this is what he meant. He'll leave me once I'm back to Taehyung. Maybe it's because he thinks I don't need him anymore." She sobbed as Taehyung tried to calm her down with warm hug.

"Shh, it's alright. Everything is going to be fine, I'll get him for you, okay? " Taehyung asked softly then looked at Yoongi and Jimin. "What should we do now? Where can we find him? " He asked.

No one had notice that Jimin was being all quiet till he decided to speak. "Actually everyone, " he cleared his throat to get their attention. Hesitated, but he couldn't see Eunna crying for any longer. He sympathized her. "I know where's Jungkook now. But I promised him that I won't tell anyone about this. But since things has go so hard right now, I think I have to tell the truth. " He spoke.

Taehyung and Yoongi gasped in unison, feeling a bit annoyed but they couldn't do anything since Jimin was only doing what Jungkook told him. Sighing deeply, "So where's him now? Tell us. " Yoongi gestured.

He bit his lower lip, "He's on his way to the airport now. His flight will be about 1 hour from now. We still have time. " He answered.

"Oh gosh, " Yoongi muttered under his breath. "You should've just tell us earlier! "

"Let's go and get him. "

"So what's making you sad? " Jungkook asked the girl beside him then handed a pack of tissue to her. She was hesitant to talk to him since he's Taehyung's friend. She was afraid that he might want to trick her.

Jungkook smiled gently, "Hey. It's alright. I'm not going to do anything, though. Just take it, " he told her as she finally took the tissue from him. Sniffling, she looked up at him with watery eyes.

"He keeps rejecting me. " Jihyun spoke.

"But I kept acting like I didn't see it because I wanted him so bad. I've been crushing on him since high school. Everyone knows that. And you know that too. " She sniffled while wiping her tears with the tissue given by Jungkook. It caused her makeup to smudge a little.

"I have never felt so bad until I started realizing that— he's not meant for me. He keeps avoiding me and making me to feel unwanted. I've never felt that feeling in my whole life. But he just—" she cried.

After listening to her story, Jungkook realized that she has went through the same thing as him. The difference was just; Eunna didn't make him feels unwanted. Instead, while he finds himself falling in love with her, he learned that love isn't about owning them. But love is a sacrifice. We can't always get everything we want. Especially when it's not meant for us. He smiled gently, "Hey Jihyun. " He looked at her.

"Sometimes, the best way to love is to leave. Mostly when you know that they'll be happy when you let them go. You need to do a sacrifice in order to keep yourself loved ones happy. Love is about to see the ones you love to be happy. Even when it's not with you. " He told her, his words was wise and it somehow helped to open her heart. She stopped crying.

He looked down at the floor with a smile, "You may not understand what I'm trying to say. But one day, I know you will. " He stated then stood up. "I need to go now, goodbye." He asserted.

"Jungkook. " She stopped him before he walked away. He turned back to look at her and raised his eyebrow.

"You let her go. " She spoke. "So that she can be happy with Taehyung. "

"Is that a sacrifice you're talking about? " She asked.

He took a few moment before responding. But then, he nodded his head. "Yeah. "

"Are you happy now? To see them happy? " Jihyun seemed interested to know. Her question was simple but deep and significant.

With no doubts, he gave her a genuine smile before answering. "Yes. I do. Because I love the both of them. "

Finally, after getting an answer, she managed to smile. "You're so strong, Jungkook. "

And before she lose the chance, she looked at him again and handed him her phone. "Um, can I get your number? In case— I want to meet you in the future. " She bit her lower lip. Jungkook looked down at her phone, he giggled softly then patted her head.

"Sure. "

"Jungkook! " He heard a female voice was calling his name. He discontinued his steps but didn't turn back because he recognized the voice and he knew that it was Eunna.

He heard someone was running towards his way then hugged him from back. "Jungkook, " she said his name while back hugging him.

He was surprised. "Eunna. " He responded. "What are you doing here? " He asked but didn't move even a bit since she was hugging him so tightly.

She stopped then used her arms to turn his body to face her. "You ask me what I'm doing here? You're going to leave without telling me and you asked me why I'm here? Really? " She asked him back.

He lowered his head. "You're happy now. I told you that I'm not going to stay here permanently. I have to go to the states to manage my dad's new company. I'm going to stay there. " He told her softly.

"No. You can't go. " She shook her head then hugged him again. When he looked up, he saw Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung were watching them.

He looked at Taehyung then was about to say something to prevent him from thinking bad when Eunna suddenly hugged him. But then, he saw Taehyung signalled "It's okay, you have my permission. " He smiled.

With the permission given, he held the girl who was hugging him then cupped her face. Her face was full with tears as she kept crying the whole journey to the airport. "Why are you crying? " He asked her.

"I don't want you to go. I still need you. You can't leave me. " She cried in sadness. Once again, he smiled.

"Who said I'm leaving you? I'm just going to do my work there. "

"But you're going to stay there. That means you're leaving me. " She denied. Jungkook sighed softly then wiped her tears with his thumbs.

"Listen here, " he spoke. "Even if you chose me, I'm still going to leave. It's because I have to. My dad wants me to take care of his company so I can't stay here. I'm not leaving because I'm sad that you didn't choose me. No. Instead, I'm so happy that you're back to Taehyung now. That's what I've always wanted. To see the both of you happy. " He said.

"Don't worry about me. Yes, my heart is still hurt. I can't deny that. But trust me, it'll heal itself and I'm going to be fine. I'm happy for you guys. And I promise that you'll be the first person I meet when I come back to Korea. Okay? I'll visit you often. We'll always do video calls okay? " He asked nicely.

"And you can come to visit me too. I'd be so happy if you do. "

With the thing being said by him, she had nothing more to say. Yes, she failed to make him stay. But at least she knows that he's going to be okay. She inhaled deeply, "Promise me you'll come back to Korea often. " She said, sounded more like demanding.

He chuckled. "Of course. Anything for my best friend. "

Taehyung came to them, "Is everything okay now? " He asked.

"Yes, it is. Right, Eunna? " Jungkook asked her.

"Yeah. " She nodded while wiping her tears that kept rolling down without her control. Jungkook looked down at his watch then looked at the two people in front of him.

"I need to get going now. My flight is about to leave. " He said. Eunna's heart shattered once again after knowing that he was going to leave. But since she didn't want Jungkook to know that she was sad, she forced a smile then asked, "Can I hug you one more time? "

Jungkook stopped. "Sure. " He spread his arms widely then Eunna hugged him. While she was in his arm, he turned to Taehyung and said, "Take care of her for me. Don't make her sad. Promise me. " He said.

"Of course. I will. Don't worry. " Taehyung nodded while patting his back. "Thank you for everything you've done, Jungkook. We do appreciate your sacrifice. "

"You're welcome. "

I waved to them with my eyes focused on Eunna. She was still sad. I can see it on her face. I really wanted to run back to her and hug her once again. But knowing that she'll be okay with Taehyung, I decided to just let her be.

And for now, I'm going to the states and start a new life. I'm going to heal my broken heart and find myself. I have to find the old me who has lost for a long time. I need to focus on myself now.

Healing might take time. Finding myself might take longer. But it's the best thing for me. Because I'm certain that I can still be happy and one day, I'll find the right person to be my soulmate. I will.

Goodbye Eunna. You'll still have a special place in my heart. But I have to move on in order to find my own happiness. And now, I'm on my way to be happy.

someone told me that tae and eunna have never kiss in this story and i was like; yeah, though. but let's just imagine that they kissed. cause i'm suck at writing something sweet // romantic. but anyway, i hope you loved this chap even it's quite sad hshs.
