Chapter 15: The Demon inside
Reese looked down at the box, picking it up. Her eyes filled with tears as she thought about all of the horrible things she said to him. She then heard the front door close. "He's here still!? This is my chance!", she exclaimed in thought as she ran after him. Amethist glaring at her.
**..M..**
Baldi stepped into the car, but before he can shut the door- Reese ran out of the house, breathing heavily. "Baldi, WAIT!"
He glanced over, realizing she changed. She seemed familiar now. He stepped out, his eyes wide as she looked up at him, her eyes watering. "S-Sam?"
"Y-yes! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-"
"What are you doing?" A voice said from the front door, making them glance over.
Amethist stood there, her hands on her hips. She walked over, shoving Reese away from Baldi. "H-hey! WHAT THE HE-" Reese stopped herself as soon as she saw Amethist's eyes. They were dark, silver orbs stared into her soul. She backed up, as Amethist stepped forward making her fall back.
"Sam!" Baldi exclaimed as the brown-haired girl tossed her at the house wall, her breaking through.
Reese stood up dizzily walking over. Her head dripping bright red blood. "If the world doesn't wanna kill you- I WILL!" Amethist growled, "Unless you wanna, you know- stay out of my way. Then I'll spare you.."
"You're insane!" Reese shouted suddenly.
Her eyes widened as soon as Reese said that- her surprised frown curved into a grin as she began to giggle crazily. "That's funny- your daughter feels the exact same way about me~ You really are her mom~," She told Reese as she wobbled over. "But no- I'm crazy- but Amethist isn't~ But if you wanna blame her if you die, too bad- she's innocent~" The girl giggled.
"Tsithema?" Baldi asked under his breath.
"Well well well~ Looks like you've finally caught up~ Missed me~" Tsithema giggled, glancing over at Baldi.
"NO! The last time we met- you tried to... get at me!" Baldi exclaimed.
"So- you don't like Amethist?" Reese asked, confused.
"I-I don't... I'm not s- I don't..." Baldi groaned, rubbing his head, "I don't know what part of Amethist you are, but I don't like what you did to Sam."
"Me or her." Tsithema asked, a hiss escaping her mouth.
"What?"
"Sam it is~" Tsithema giggled, walking over and throwing the car- Baldi shouting. "There~," She told him, as the car flew out into the sky. "Want me to check on your girls? I'll be on my way then~" She cooed as Baldi frantically glanced over at the girl.
"NO! Don't touch them, Tsithem-" Before Baldi can say anything, a puff of green smoke exploded around her. Making him and Sam cough, waving in front of their faces. He gasped as the smoke cleared. She was gone.
"What the heck?" Sam muttered, looking around. "That was a pretty cool magic trick,"
"I-I don't think... that was a magic trick..." Baldi mumbled in shock.

Zoey and Tiffany walked home from the party, both tired. "Where's Daddy?" Zoey asked as soon as they walked across a street.
"I'm not sure... I thought he went home?" Tiffany replied, "It's ok though, I'm sure dad's ok- he probably went back to see if Amethist was ok- did you see the way she looked after he shouted at her??? It was priceless!" She exclaimed, laughing.
"I feel bad for her..." Zoey whispered, "She was hurt when he shouted like that..." She stated, "If I were in his position, I probably would go to see if she's ok too..."
"That's so sweet~," A voice said behind them.
They glanced over their shoulders to see Tsithema standing there, a grin on her face. Tiffany turned towards her quickly, nervously messing with her dress strap, "OH! U-uh, Amethist! How much did you hear exactly? Cuz all of it was jokes!" She told her a nervous laugh followed by a fake smile.
"Hilarious~" Tsithema growled, "Why aren't you two home? It's dangerous out here~" She smiled.
"Blame Zoey- she decided it was alright to go and pick flowers earlier. I told her to throw them away because she had a handfull of dead flowers- dad doesn't like it when we bring home weeds because they're dirty,"
"Flowers aren't weeds!" Zoey shouted.
"Yes, they are!"
"No!" Zoey exclaimed.
" STOP! Stop arguing you, mortals!" Tsithema shouted in a distorted voice.
Zoey stared in shock before starting to cry. She sobbed, screaming in her little voice. The screams made Tsithema cover her ears in pain. "What are you doing!? STOP! RIGHT NOW!" Shouted, her finger glowing bright green as she motioned with it.
As soon as she did, Zoey's screams and cries muted. "What the heck is this?!" Tiffany shouted in shock.
"Relief." Tsithema replied, rubbing her head, "Now- time to die~" She giggled, grabbing Tiffany by the throat.
"Ah!" Zoey watched as Tsithema squeezed her sister's throat.
(Silence)" Stop, Amethist!" Zoey exclaimed in her barrier. (Silence)
Tiffany squirmed in Tsithema's grip, scratching as her hand and arm. "L-let me go- Agh! D-DAD!"
Before she can run out of breath, a shovel hit Tsithema in the head, making her drop Tiffany and turn around. Sam stood there, Baldi in back of her. Sam watched as Tsithema rubbed the back of her head before looking into her eyes annoyed, "I-I thought... maybe that would work..." Sam stated, nervously smiling. Tsithemagrabbed her by the collar before throwing her at a nearby car.
"Sam!" Baldi exclaimed, "Ok ok- Amethist- if you're in there, please... don't hurt my girls- take me instead! They didn't do anything wrong! Please!"
"I don't deliver pity... only pain.." Tsithema told him.
"PLEASE! For goodness sake- their just children! Please!" Baldi exclaimed as Tsithema turned towards Tiffany, who was gasping for air still. "Can't you have even a little bit of pity? Please... DON'T DO IT FOR THEM- but instead... me?" Baldi told her, making Tsithema glance over at him, their eyes meeting. "Please... I'm begging you..."
Tsithema faded as Amethist showed through, "B-Baldi... h-help..." She mumbled softly, before covering her face as she began to cry.
"Amethist... i-it's ok..."
"I'm sorry..." She whispered as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
"F-for what? You didn't do anything wrong..." Baldi told her with a small smile.
"No... you don't understand..." She told him in that eerie distorted voice, letting Baldi know Tsithema was back- making him back up a bit, "I'm trapped- I can't control myself...
because of the demon inside..."
